up on the 25th floor of trump tower, the president-elect was looking for ways for the companies to make more money. even though the president-elect called out the companies like apple, who he thinks should have helped the fbi unlock the san bernardino terrorists' iphones, but he was very complimentary. >> there's nobody like you in the world, in the world, there's nobody like the people in this room. and anything we can do to help this go along, we'll be there for you. and you'll call my people, you'll call me, it doesn't make any difference. we have no formal chain of command around here. >> reporter: there is a lot of buzz about why mr. trump did not invite the company that helped him reach millions of people for free every day, that's twitter, a month-old blog post from a member of trump's digital team has surfaced where a person complained that the social media site banned a crooked hillary

how russia threw the election toward donald trump. so let's come on up to capitol hill to talk about it. well, yesterday, all the intel community agencies said, you know what? we're busy. we can't come, which is really curious given the fact how much they have been leaking in some cases. >> think about this, they say they are not going to come and address the house intelligence committee, which i don't think has ever really happened before that i can remember. when you request it, you should come. number two, the excuse they gave. president obama asked for a review. we're focusing on that, really? so the house doesn't matter, the people's voice doesn't count? and they just want to know, the last time that james tapper, the director of the national intelligence spoke in november, he said he didn't know where these hacks came from. why all of a sudden did momentum change over the weekend and we have a total new view of what happened with the election? >> so you have folks that are in the intelligence community saying, russia was involved in this election. you have house members of the senate, if that's the case, the

cia, yeah, because the fbi and the dni are not on the same page. you have all these agencies that represent the intel community that are not on the same page. the house members say if russia did hack, we want to bring you guys in and hear your evidence. and they are saying, we are not going to provide people. does that lead to believe because they don't have the facts or the information? >> here's the thing, ainsley, if the cia found something earth shattering, they would have an obligation to come present it to the american people. but they are not showing up. josh earnest, however, who is so very partisan there at the white house, he said, clearly, donald trump was involved. he's blaming trump and the russians and everybody else. watch. >> the republican nominee himself calling on russia to hack his opponent. it might be an indication that he was obviously aware and concluded, based on whatever facts or sources he was -- he had available to him, that russia was involved.

the republican nominee chose a campaign chair that had extensive, lucrative, personal, financial ties to the kremlin. and it was obvious to those covering the race that the hack and leak strategy that had been operationalized was not being equally applied to the two parties. >> i don't remember this ever happening. when you had a press secretary for an outgoing administration going after the president-elect. and by the way, i asked him, he's been asked many times, donald -- he's referring to the fact that donald trump was asked at a press conference about the leaks or hacks when it comes to hillary clinton. he says, i don't know if russia is behind it, but i'll tell you what, if you are behind it, can we get the 30,000 e-mails you illegally deleted from your files and never handed over? it was a sarcastic remark to the president of theed united states and josh earnest took it as factual. >> i agree with you. josh earnest is saying, if donald trump is calling for an

investigation, that means he knows that russia was involved. no, donald trump, in my opinion is saying, if russia was involved, we want to know. let's get to the bottom of it. so let's have a briefing. >> when you look at what he said, he said, he might be, might know. there's a lot we don't know. and yet, josh earnest, as many democrats are trying to discredit donald trump. and what they're trying to do is they are trying to muddy the waters before the electorates vote on december 19th. peter king says, look, if somebody is leaking false information against the president-elect, there's got to be an investigation. watch. >> this violates all protocols and it is almost as if people in the intelligence community are carrying out a disinformation campaign against the president-elect of the united states. it's absolutely disgraceful. if they are not doing it, it must be somebody in the house or senate leaking false information. and there should be a full investigation of this. >> donald trump's been complimentary toward the current president after they never

>> 102. >> you never know. i'm excited about bullets. we have breaking news on this thursday, a dangerous inmate is on the loose and heather has the very latest on the manhunt. >> we're talking about fayettevil fayetteville, north carolina. a massive manhunt is intensifying in that area for an escaped inmate who is believed to be armed and, quote, very dangerous. police in fayetteville say this man, edward moore jr., was being treated at a hospital when he assaulted an officer, swiped that officer's taser and then escaped through the front door. he then stole a car and drove off. that car was later found. but moore, a convicted bank robber, is still on the run at this hour. so many military families in that community. the muslim teenager, remember her? she claimed that three drunk trump supporters called her a terrorist and attacked her on a new york city subway. it turns out she lied about it. according to sources, the nypd arrested her and has now charged her with filing a false police

report. the 18-year-old woman described the made-up attack on facebook blaming president-elect trump for promoting what she called islamophobia. when questioned by cops, she said she made up the story to distract her angry father. and people 21 years or older are allowed to carry 1 ounce of pot with him and can grow six plants at home. but people cannot legally buy the plant. it will be another year before the state changes the retail licenses. and d.c. has a seat at the table, and now reports are circulating that ivanka trump is taking over the white house office, traditionally served or reserved for the first lady. no decisions have been made about ivanka's involvement, at least not yet. this comes after the future first lady, melania trump, announced that she and her son

are killed by flying into the high-speed planes. all right, there you go. some of the news. president-elect donald trump's pick for secretary of state is fueling criticism and praise. leaders on both sides of the aisle are doubtful about him calling on rex tillerson's ties to russia as a potential problem. but the next guest says exxonmobil's ceo is the perfect pick for chief diplomat. jim is joining us now. he knows rex tillerson personally and knows the world he was in and is about to get in. first off, the guy you know, the rex you know, tell us about it. >> he's a very experienced individual. he's been all over the world, working many different functions of exxonmobil. and if you rise to the top of a company like exxonmobil, you have competed against your peer group for decades. and ever ultimately selected to follow raymond. and he's done a good job running one of the most complex, sophisticated and technical companies in the world.

probation for pretending to be a police officer with a fight with a neighbor. he said the affluenza teen was 16 and slapped on the wrist for killing four people in a drunk driving crash back in 2013. and a lavish steak dinner, guess who is enjoying that? well, some folks at the irs and you are paying for it. there's a brand new report out of the senate revealing that 27 irs workers racked up more than $1.4 million in travel expenses in one year alone. some were given more than $7,000 to spend in one month. the irs has not responded to that report. we'll watch that one. and teachers in one school district will now be arm in the classroom. a school board outside of colorado springs, colorado, say that it's time to step up and keep kids safe. but that move is leaving parents divided. >> it's a matter of being proactive. this is not about we think our

their concerns, i would say. the bottom line is i -- i'm a proud american like most of us in this great country, and whether you voted for donald trump or not, he has been elected through the process that we have, that we cherish. he's our president-elect. he will be our president. i want him to be successful. my job as a senator is to do everything i can to help him. if i do disagree, respectfully disagree, i'm not calling people names. i'm not basically trashing their ideas. i might think there's a better path forward. i'll do that in a productive manner. my job is going to be in the senate democrat caucus is working with all of my republican friends and leaders, trying to find a pathway forward so we can have at least eight or ten democrats support reasonable policies. that's what we should be doing. >> senator, are you going to stay a democrat? >> i've said this, absolutely.

before. you had to remember where you were to help your friend who is freezing and in a lot of pain. so, john, you get in the chopper and you head for help. what can you find? how long did it take you to find nathan and what did you find when you got there? >> well, you know, initially, we go into that area, it's a popular hiking area, up there, i'm sorry. it's a popular hiking area. so i knew the area fairly well, but it's a huge area to start searching in, but fortunately jim came up with this -- with the word stonehouse. there is an old stonehouse down at the bottom of the canyon, and we responded to the stonehouse and started going up the canyon, and saw the airplane. linda got me to a spot where she could let me off so i could walk up there and i was -- i was hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.

and i hollered out for nathan and he answered, which was awesome. got up to him. >> and then? >> i got up to him and we started talking and, yeah, he was in a great deal of pain. it was uncomfortable for me to see how much pain he was in, i really couldn't do anything for him other than basic first aid and to keep him immobile so he didn't do any more damage to his back. >> and ron, what about you? when you got to him, what did you see? >> my helicopter was not in service that day. i work for the state police, the highway patrol, and all of a sudden i arrived at work and the -- linda was landing her helicopter out in front of my office, and then i was very quickly told to change into an aviation uniform and get some

equipment and we were going to rescue a pilot that had crashed into the mountains, i had never met linda or john or flown in that particular aircraft until that morning. >> so when you finally got involved, you realized your pilot had survived, didn't sleep at all through serve hours of the cold with a broken back. what did you think? after this moment in your life, how did your life change? >> my life changed an awful lot for the worst very quickly and came back up and became something that i never would have imagined it would be because i didn't have any idea how supportive everyone around me was going to be. i had a long night out there. it was longer than seven hours and i was just in really total despair the entire time. i was pretty certain my career was over. i was certain i would be fired. i was certain i would be ostracized by my friends. i was in despair.

of the things you would like to see donald trump, the president-elect do with homes that are unoccupied for years. what can be done? sally wants to know. >> well, what we're hoping for is that somebody looks at this and says those people, those homes are what we call zombie fore closures, the ones sitting there, steve, that at some point, somebody does something to force these servicers and lenders to take the homes back or do something for people still living there who haven't made a payment in 7, 8 years, as a result of that, somebody has got to look at this issue, decide how we're going to get these properties back on the market and out of the names of homeowners and i don't know what they are to go do, but they need to do it. it's not that complicated. give them four or five things and it can be done. it's a matter of basically enforcing. >> meanwhile, bob, mary from texas asked this. are home warranty protection plans worth the cost? i hear some nightmare stories. >> honestly, steve, you and i

talked about buying homes and things. home warranty programs do serve a purpose. the problem we never read them. we don't know what's excluded. >> you figure it cover everything's. >> you figure it covers everything even if the house comes down. when you buy a home warranty program which usually is offered to you through your realtor sit down with them and go over the plan to understand does it cover the dishwasher, does it cover the refrigerator, does it cover the roof? what does it cover, and more importantly what does it exclude so you understand what you are paying for. they do serve a purpose and in understand what you are buying so it's worth the money that you are spending. >> sure. absolutely. meanwhile, finally, john from florida wrote this to you. i'm struggling with my homeowners association. every time we ask the board to change the landscaping or a color of the house, they consistently reject or want modifications. i am sick of them. what can i do?

can john do much because when you are the homeowners association, you kind of hold all the cards, don't you? >> they are very, very powerful boards. they have architectural committees. if, in fact, they are abusing their powers, they have very broad discretionary powers, if they are abusing them, you got to get a lawyer. you can say i submitted these plans. they keep rejecting them. i believe they are not treating me fairly. retaliation at times. you got to look at the bylaws, the ccnrs. you have to get sit down with a lawyer. this is not right. you got to get aggressive with them. they can be a pain in you know where. no question. >> the problem is taking them on. they are your neighbors. >> that's your problem. they are people walking on the streets. go to parties and stuff.

>> in south carolina, all these girls come all over the world to see you guys. hundreds of people audition for this and how many get selected and what is the process like? >> the process is a two-day process. 100% dance call. to be a rockette you have to be 5' 6" to 5' 10 1/2". so there is a high requirement. we have routines to go through. there's 80 women total. >> i understand the footwear is developed by the cia because they have -- there are microphones in the shoes? >> we have live tap mikes in our at that point shoes for our 12 pieces of christmas number and our rag doll number. >> can we see a little bit of action? >> come on in. >> a dream come true. >> i pulled a hamstring in the my pillow segment. >> we're going to start with the left bevel.
