brian is going to interview a pollster who is going to tell you about how while russia is accused of influencing our election, we influenced the israeli election a couple of years ago at the direction of barack obama and spent hundreds of thousands of u.s. dollars to try to do it. he's got proof. he'll be here in ten minutes. >> there's no way josh earnest is saying the president doesn't want out. >> loretta lynch is the top attorney with the obama administration. she was at a political event yesterday and speaking about this issue. whether or not russia did hack or was involved in hacking the election. she said there's absolutely no evidence. listen to this. >> fortunately, we didn't see the sort of technical interference that i know people had concerns about also in terms much voting machines and the like. but a lot of education went on about that, a lot of training went on about that.

and a significant number of states did reach out to dhs and talk with them about this issue. >> she said over the summer that they learned about some of these allegations. >> sure. >> they rear searched it and reached out to the states to make sure it didn't happen, the technical issues. >> she's not the only one. jeh johnson, there's a video circulating that he sat down with david ignatius and asked was there any evidence and he said, jeh johnson, he said no evidence of hacking of our election. he had a crisis management team, nothing happened. he was asked, did it influence the election. that's the question about intent. and he said there is no evidence. he's a lawyer. he has to say stuff that is provable. he said there's nothing to prove the russians didn't it. it follows up on what julian

an allegiant flight out of chicago packed with 60 people hitting a bird and sent sparks flying. that pilot landed safe live taking off to florida. also in chicago, another bird strike forced a southwest plane to turn around after it took off from midway airport. that plane also landed safely. we know how dangerous that can be. chaos over republican backed bills leading to more than a dozen arrests at a north carolina state legislature. protesters rallied against laws that limit the power of the state's incoming democratic governor roy cooper. lawmakers calling a surprise session to approve bills that include reducing cooper's power to make appointments. he takes office january 1st. the two teenagers charged with starting a deadly tennessee wildfire could spend the rest of their life behind bars. that's because they could be charged with murder after the fires left 14 people dead. damage estimates now talking 0

president obama says it's covered going in. maternity care, which makes a lot of sense. some of the other things are leading to the skyrocketing premiums. plus insurers opting out. plus those up to the age of 26 and over. 27, 28, 29 saying i'm healthy. i don't want health insurance. i'm going to wait until i'm sick. >> what do you think needs to be done? you talk about repealing it. you definitely want to repeal. what does that entail? >> i think that obamacare is bleeding on to the health care system. even the employer-based model is affected. i think we have to scale back this insurance that's very low quality but high expectation. it's got to be replaced with the following thing. catastrophic style insurance, insurance with high deductibles and don't pay a high pre yum. if you have preexisting condition -- there's $40 billion in government subsidies for obamacare to cover those 20 million? the exchanges are not working. almost the entire exchange is one big subsidy. change the subsidies to cover

rooney, he's the big part of our next story. it took ten years, but an american hero is finally coming home. in the year 2006, major troy gilbert was killed in combat in iraq leaving behind his wife and five kids. not only had gilbert been killed in action, but al qaeda fighters then took his body. >> but a decade later, major gilbert has returned to the country in time for christmas. he val yabtly served the united states of america. his family will travel to arlington to bury him officially. >> he's with our -- folds of honor. major dan rooney join us it talk about this journey. welcome to both of you. major dan, tell us how you were alerted to this story and this nied. >> our time with ginger goes way back. you can take it back nine years. we were just starting folds of honor. like everybody, when you're

starting everything, it's not going to go exceedingly well. i got a call from mike, the instructor pilot who taught me to fly the f-16. he told me of troy's ultimate sacrifice in iraq. he said he had five kids and folds of honor has got to help these kids. so this connection to troy and his passing goes so far back and so many lives have been changed as a result. but certainly ginger's perspective on troy finally coming home is such a blessing. >> yeah. ginger, this has been a long road for you. this will be the third funeral you've had for your husband, right? >> it is. it's true. it's unimaginable to take your children back to arlington national cemetery three times to bury their father. but this time there's a lot more closure to it. >> surely. ginger, explain why there were two funerals before this one. >> well, back on november 27th,

2006 when he was killed in combat, he was serving our country as a pilot in the air force, died in a combat mission where he saved the lives of over 20 special operators and when he lost his life tragically, before our troops were able to get into the crash site, he was taken by insurgents and it was just a nightmare for our family to lose him and then to know that we didn't have his body to bury and so there was some dna left at the crash site and that was confirmed that he had been killed and that small amount was what we buried in 2006. >> ginger, what are you feeling today? his body coming home right before christmas and now you'll finally get, i guess, closure, is that what you would say? how would you describe what you're going through? >> you know, in 2013, when we got word that small remains of his toes were recovered and they did a lot of searching for him at that point and turned up with

nothing, we had a second burial seven years after the day that he died and so you know in that time, though, i really feel like it gave me peace that we buried the top of his head and the tip of his toes and god had everything in between. we just had to wait. and we waited and prayed and now ten years after his crash ultimately a hero is returning home. >> dan, for folds of honor, what role will you play? >> freedom isn't free. we provide education for spouses and children someone -- >> he left behind five children. i have five myself. that's the worst nightmare. for folds of honor to step in and all five of his children to -- all christian school in san antonio, texas. >> that doesn't happen for a single mom. >> no, it doesn't.

it won't take them through college. to honor that sacrificsacrificek for every member of the military, like myself, if something were to happen, your greatest concern, what happens to my spouse and my children. that's where we step in. >> this is not the first time we met this family. we met this family on this program in one. most impactful, emotional moments i have ever witnessed with my own two eyes. this past memorial day. >> absolutely. when we found troy's truck. and returned it. there's the segment there. he had actually sold his truck just before he left and through colonel re develop a and ginger and the sma schmidts, they were able to deliver it back to his sons. >> ginger, as a mother, i'm looking at this video, i see you in the background crying. i can't imagine how you feel having a piece of your husband back, seeing your sons in this truck. what has folds of honor meant to
