2:22 am
about? >> about the reality hillary clinton wants the popular vote. i think people feel they have to use the traditional recount of the electoral college vote to feel better wiabout the fact th i have a feeling nothing is going to change because there's only evidence of one person who has given votes to donald trump that is willing to actually take that vote back. you have stateded he has to have so many votes. this is more about making the point that they feel the popular vote has not been heard and donald trump won by a land slide. >> is it protecting democracy? >> i think using democracy the way it was designed to be used. i think the electoral colleges can be presented. whether or not it would work in your favor you are willing to use this and you should use it. i don't believe it is going to make a difference at the end of the day. >> what do you think?
2:23 am
>> i think she is saying the right key words it's about feelings. when it comes to the electoral college it's about the law. donald trump won the election fair and square. he didn't win the popular vote. he wasn't playing checkers. he was playing chess. the game was to win enough lobing tore rale college votes to win the president of the united states. we will see the electoral college vote for donald trump. this is going to be another series of things that the democrats are doing to delegitimize the president of the united states of america. we saw this when bush stole the election. >> we see this in the 2020 scene starting now. >> let's take a look at that. donna brazil is saying the united states e-mails were weaponized to spread misinformation. listen to this. >> this was a very intrusive process. the e-mails were weaponized. the relief of stolen hacked e-mails caused a lot of

confusion and of course it disrupted our daily campaign lives. >> the question i have is if this is about looking into the possible russian hacking protecting our elections moving forward, protecting our process works this be happening if in fact hillary clinton had won? >> heather, this is not and should not be a partisan issue. this is not republican or democratic issue. we have to have the core essential problem here. this is about russia getting involved in our democracy. we cannot allow that to happen. i think that four u.s. senators have made that very clear. this is not about politics. this is about national security and keeping our country safe and the least thing we need to worry about is what happened in the dnc and what is going to happen moving forward we don't take this seriously. for example those four senators
2:25 am
requested a special selection committee be established we have to worry about the president and the future. we want his communications to be safe. this is not an issue we could be throwing darts this is republican or democrat. no. this is a national security issue. it should be concerned and demand the select committee be formed to study this. >> joe, my question is works this be happening if in fact hillary clinton had won? if it truly is about protecting the process? >> let's go back two months ago when barack obama himself thought hillary clinton was going to win the election. he had a different course of action with respect to russian hacking in this race. this should be investigated. any time a foreign country tries to hack our political institution it is worthy of investigation. we can't forget the fact that someone like donna brazil is trying to distract us from the fact that the content of the

e-mail. you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. even though they spent months trying to tell us the contents were altered we found out that can be false, too. if they don't want people thinking the system was rigged for hillary if the foundation donors would give us preference they shouldn't have done these things in the first place. >> thank you so much, joe and january niece. appreciate you being with us this morning. have a great day. >> clayton. >> rocky balboa once said i can't sing or dance. he also did say he knocked him down try knocking me down. that's why he is not interested in the arts roll in the trump foundation. i could be more effective by bringing national attention to returning military personnel. he's asking himself an artist. >> the biggest political scandal of the 90's could be coming to the big screen. >> i did not have sexual
