year's eve and what you see is members of the nypd manning stations from divisioning and housing and transit and every department and then representatives from the fbi and homeland security and also in this room representatives from con ed and the gas company and so if there is a gas leak or power outage, they respond right away and they monitor all of the screen and images from more than 10000. and watching every plane in the new york air space and the monitors is the pins that are filled in the time square area. this room is monitored and operated 247. catherine nuniz is in charge of the unit. you are not just watching new years eve but crimes elsewhere in the city. calls for police service don't
