interference in the american election process, and he's going to tell us what it is on tuesday or wednesday. but this something, this surprise that he's got for next week is part of the reason that he is not so sure that they had anything to do with interfering in the american election process, the way the obama administration says they have been. the president-elect also said that in 2017, he hopes to have good relationships with china and russia. and there was just so much talk about russia, he said, computers in general, he does not think, are secure. no way to keep anything secret on it. and if you want to, in the new year or at any time, have something stay private, you need to write it down and send it by a courier. inside the ballroom there at mar-a-lago, there are about 800 people. some of them are trump's. sylvester stallone walked in. we saw mets great keith hernandez and fabio who told me on his way in, that he could

have gone to any party in the world, but he thought this one was going to be the best. and something else about the party that we know, the 500 bucks gets you a mr. trump wedge salad, wild mushroom and swiss charred ravioli, pan seared sea bass and baked alaska and the band is called cover on the moon. it's a cover band. the band leader gave an interview to another outlet where he said, mr. trump really likes the upbeat stuff. there won't be any laid-back tunes until the party that is going to go until about 1:00 a.m. at mar-a-lago here just behind us on palm beach. >> what's the president-elect going to do at the stroke of midnight? >> reporter: that is a good question. we know that he's in there with his wife and a bunch of his rae close friends from down here at palm beach, at a place where he'll only be able to stay for one more day.

and they were awful. so i want them to be sure. i think it's unfair if they don't know. and i know a lot about hacking and hacking is a very hard thing to prove. so it could be somebody else. and i also know things that other people don't know and so, they cannot be sure of this situation. >> what do you know that other people don't know? >> you'll find out on tuesday or wednesday. >> mr. president-elect, how much of an important role will cybersecurity play in protecting the issue of cybersecurity in your administration? >> very important. you know, if you have something really important, write it out and have it delivered by courier, the old-fashioned way. because i'll tell you what, no computer is safe. i don't care what they say. no computer is safe. i have a boy who's 10 years old and can do anything with a computer. you want something to really go without detection, write it out and have it sent by courier. >> what kind of questions will you be asking at your

intelligence briefings that you asked to arrange for next week? >> we're talking about normal questions, but everything's going to work out very well. and hopefully we're going to have great negotiations with many countries and that includes russia and it includes china. >> you supported earlier this weekend that president obama is visiting capitol hill to meet with democrats this week to discuss how to secure the affordable care act and obamacare -- >> well, he's president until january 20th and after that it's our turn. so we'll see what happens. i mean, he's got to protect what he wants to do and perhaps he can save his legacy. but if you look at obamacare, where you have in many cases over 100% increases, it's unaffordable. it doesn't work. bill clinton said it. maybe he shouldn't have said it during the campaign, but he said it. it's unaffordable, it doesn't work, and it's been crazy.

an estimated 1 million people are here in times square for new year's eve. so how do authorities safeguard new york city? fox news senior correspondent, vick leventhal has the latest. >> kimberly, i just spoke with the chief of nypd's counterterrorism bureau about the events in istanbul, turkey, where two terrorists in santa claus suits opened fire, killed at least three peopled and wounded at least 40 more. the nypd is tracking that and they have redeployed some of their critical response teams, these s.w.a.t.-type teams around the city to make sure there are no similar attacks attempted here in new york city. of course, they're keeping a close eye on times square, as well. they have a very tight cordon here. precautions have been stricter than in any year i've ever seen, guys.
