obamacare. the same old talking points. take a look.k. >> repealing and replacing obamacare wouldn't make america great again, it would make america sick again. >> they have no replacement plan because they don't have the votes. so to repeal and then delay is an act of cowardice. that means we don't really know what we are doing. >> and they want to repeal it and then try to hang it on us.s. that's not going to happen. it's their responsibility, plain and simple. now, they are going to own it and all the problems in the health care system.in and there have been many throughout the years, no one has solvedhe all of them. they are going to be on their back., >> sean: really, democrats? they want to argue that the republicans are to blame for health care? that's a flat out lie. they know that because obamacare is already broken in it is

failing you, the american people come up miserably. we're going to show you the numbers approve all of this in just a minute. at the same time, president obama, he ran to capitol hill. vice president elect mike pence was meeting with republicans at that time to formulate the plan to repeal and replace this disastrous law. here's what he said rightn afte. take a look. >> the first order of business is to repeal and replace obamacare.i obamacare has failed. and the american people have sent a decisive message to washington, d.c. that they want obamacare to be repealed and replaced with health care reform that will lower the cost of health insurance without growing there size ofha government. >> sean: republicans need to make sure once they keep their promises and also move very quickly to repeal and replace obamacare, which by the way, they appear to be on track to do. but they also need to be careful because democrats have already shown that they are not going to be blaming themselves on obamacare when it finally dies and crumbles. president-elect trump issued

this warning, he tweeted out in part... also deductibles are so high that it is practically useless. don't let the schumer clouds out of this web. the president-elect is a hundred percent right. they need to make president obama and the democrats own every lated told, and remember all the times the president, all the times he said this, "no matter how we reform health care we will reform this promise of the american people. if you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your dr. period. if you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep yourri health care plan period.

glrepublican voted for that law. premiums are rising, premiums on average for a family of four making $60,000 a year, that's going to spike by 43.6%. but the misery for you, the american people, it doesn't end there. the president promised choices for americans on the exchanges. sadly, the opposite has happened. major insurers are all pulling out of states because they are losing money on the exchanges. they said they lost over $1 billion just for participating in obamacare. states like alabama, alaska, oklahoma, south carolina, wyoming, people buying on the exchanges, they only have one single insurer to choose from now. on top of that, the numbers of health care insurance providers

to choose from on healthcare.gov, that's going to drop just 20% this yearbear alo. and then there is all the taxes. previously found that the middle class will face $377 billion in tax increases, courtesy of obamacare. according to a recent study, surging obamacare premiums will cost american taxpayers $9.8 billion this year alone. you the american people are influenced directly. which is one of the reasons why somebody you asked so yes, there are certain aspects many voted for president-elect trump. of the law that republicans will keep. like the issue of pre-existing conditions. the obamacare itself is a single fundamental massive big government failure that needs to be completely scrapped and redone so we can offer better care, more free-market competition, and of course lower

cost for you, the american consumer. tonight, they're just 16 days until the obama nightmare ends. we're going to show you on the side of our screen tonight, statistics how bad things have been under this president in the past eight years.hi the stats that the mainstream media will not give you. former speaker of the house, fox news contributor, newt gingrich. here's a pretty funny thing. the president goes to capitol hill today, meets with the democrats in the house and senate and then he says don't help the republicans repeal or replace obamacaree and then he suggests that they start referring to the g.o.p. plan as trump care. so what part of these statistics does the president not want to, because it doesn't look good any which way, the actual impact of this law? >> well, look. you watched barack obama now for nine years.

he doesn't want to face anything. he's going to go to chicago to face his farewell address without noticing the almost 4,000 people shot in his home town in the last year alone. he doesn't do anything about foreign policy and he's in total denial about his health plan. one of the majors reasons this economy is moving so slowly is the burden obamacare has put on the economy. on entrepreneurs, small start-ups, the result is i am happy to take his suggestion by the way. but let's compare trumpcare with obamacare. with say a year from now whether president trump and the republicans can't do a whole series of things. give them greater choices, get washington bureaucracy out of the way. i think they're very committed to having a trump care that's a heck of a lot better than

obamacare. but they came up on his challenge and we will see a year from now how the democrats want to run for reelection. defending the old order. >> sean: free-market competition. affordability. from jobur health care to job.. buying across state lines. that competition is only going to lower cross, increase the services of people are going to get. that's economics 101. here is what i want to ask you. because the president did not respect separation of powers, is to sign away and rescind all close executive orders. and the next thing president trump signs in a law to repeal obamacare. the only thing i see left that the obama's s legacy will leave is the immigrants he let in. some of them who commit crimes in the future home of the doug

ducey appointed, in the $10 trillion in a debt. will almost be as if he didn't exist for the last eight years. >> he'll get a nice portrait in the white house. all presidents get a portrait. >> sean: isn't that profound? >> this is like one of those dolls, you watch the air come out of it and it shrinks and it shrinks and byhe the time you gt to easter, the obamacare, thed obama legacy is going to be so small you are going to need aam microscope to find it. there is no president in my lifetime, may be no president in modern history who will have had a small and impact as barack obama because he lied to the american people over and over again. he failed to work with congress. he tried to do everything by executive order and executivee orders last as long as the president. so he's going to be very sobered by summer watching virtually everything he thought he

accomplished go away. >> sean: putting up the economics statistics on the side of the screen door audience can see it for our themselves. there's no rush and reset, our relations with israel are worse than ever. the iranian deal isn't any good or iraq is better off for afghanistan is better off. or our relationship with china or north korea is better off. what foreign policy has he's had success with? benghazi? >> well, cuba. he is much closer to the castro dictatorship down any american president has ever been. so i guess he could cite cuba is his great success. not that he did anything for the cuban people but it made obama feel good. the challenge you andd i have, the challenge of our audience has is that the elite media is so totally in the tank for left wing ideas and left wing values

that they can't report accurately any of this. and it so they keep taking the word of various people, the economy is very weak, the jobs created are frankly undervalued jobs and in many cases are part-time. the fact is that people who want to get into the middle class have a harder time now. obama has pushed -- he's pushed 25 million people out of the middle class and his eight years. that's an extraordinary negative achievement. >> sean: let me ask you this last question. everything that donald trump is run on, mike pence said in the republican conference, that iti is time to be the party that now keeps their promises. i don't care if it is vetting refugees, building a wall, lowering the corporate tax, repealing and replacing obamacare, all of these are really big ideas and you've got resistance now and fear

mongering that is only just beginning. so, you have been through this once before. what you t advised donald trumpo do to navigate through the propaganda, the name calling, the fear mongering that it predictably is going to emerge? >> i would say that the numbery one challenge to the team, led by president-elect trump going to be remembering what matters, focusing on the important and not the w urgent. andmp every morning you wake up and look, this is what we are elected to do, and we are going to focus on it. if chuck schumer wants to be senator no,re then -- that will shriek the democratic party. >> sean: he says donald trump will get any democratic pass when he is minority leader.

more. we will air some of that tonight. what were your general thoughts? because when we asked thee audience what they thought,se whether they believed assange or obama and hillary, the overwhelming majority believed assange. what are your thoughts? >> let me say first of all, i think what you did is so fascinating and assange is such a down to earth straightforward interviewee. we don't have cybersecurity for much of what we are doing. we are way behind the curve in what we have to learn how to do if we are going to function as a society. in that sense, very revealing interview. second, the idea that a 14-year-old could have done it but it was the russians? it tells you how desperate obam. and the democrats are to find some excuse to discredit donald j. trump because i can't stand the idea that he won back

because hillary was so bad, because the obama record was so bad, because thehe american peoe were tired of radical policies. in some ways, they've trumped this whole thing up. in order to try to discredit the president-elect. >> sean: and that is the amazing thing here. whether you like it julian assange or not, he's really committed his life to this work. unequivocally, he's never spoken to putin, his surrogates, trump, or his surrogates. what if the information was about donald trump, would you have released it? his answer was absolutely,wo positively yes. if you look at what we learned about the collusion with the news media and the clinton campaign, i've got to believe that this is more trustworthy information than anything we're getting from "the new york times" or "politico" or nbc or cbs or abc.

is that a stretch to say? >> no, i think one of the great sad things about the last eight years is the degree to which the obama administration has corrupted the intelligence community and has led to people just not believing. the director of national intelligence, not believing the head of the cia. similarly, when the elite mediat decides they were in the tank for hillary clinton and they were going to go all out on a one-sided effort, they actually broke the country's faith that they had anything to do with the news. it became propaganda instruments, not news instruments. people are more likely to believe watching an interview for 40 minutes than they are to believe the so-called wise men of "the new york times." that's a real drop in institutional confidence in this country. in the long run, it's dangerous for the country if the people can't trust their government, their news media, it's one of those things that president trump is going to have

>> sean: welcome back to hannity, and 2009 >> sean: welcome back to hannity, and 2009 barack obama entered office under the mantle of hope and change. some of america's major cities area now experiencing a devastating rise in violent crime. joining me now with the details, ainsley earhardt, good to see her. >> happy new year to you too, sean. the statistics are pretty staggering. in recent years, america has seen tragic uptick in crime. in 2015, homicides across united states rose by more than 10% from the year before. and one of the cities which is

experiencing significant violence is the president's hometown of chicago.hi during this past holiday weekend alone, according to the "chicago tribune," 55 people were shot during the holiday weekend. according to the chicago policee department, a devastating 762 homicides last year in 2016. that is two murders a day. it is an unbelievable statistic. 77% increased over 2015. in fact, over the past eight years, thehe windy city has recorded 3,919 homicides. donald trump reacted to the heartbreaking numbers by tweeting this. as the president-elect prepares to take office, violent crime

especially in inner cities will be a serious challenge, the incoming administration will have to address on day one. >> sean: those are chilling, chilling numbers. joining us now is milwaukee county sheriff david clark. former police chief of chicago, one of the top officers there actually said that 80% of the people being killed and shot our black americans. we've heard a lot about "black lives matter," but the democratic a party, the preside, democratic mayor, democratic president and his own hometown. how do you allow 4,000 murders and 10,000 people shot in eight years and not do anything about it? >> you just look the other way. gary mccarthy, the former superintendent should never have signed consent to agree, we are not hearing anything from the government. attorney general and state attorney general need to get involved.

of course, the resources, has been absent. barack obama has been missing in action. only in the american ghetto, sean, could this go on with the no sense of emergency. if that many people died in a hurricane in the southeast, there's no way that everybody would stand by twiddlingpl their thumbs. there's no sense of urgency. but here's the bottom line. here is what is wrong in chicago. it's not the chicago police department, it's the fact that mayor emmanuel has allowed "black lives matter" and the aclu to run the chicago police department. they are setting policy rprocedure. >> sean: should they not follow the new york experience? when mayor giuliani started stop and frisk, they got the number downay to about 300 or 400.

a majority of those lives saved were black lives. so now implement something like that? would the federal government be able to come in and do that? >> the thing is, the promising thing about this is if there is any, they don't have to reinvent the wheel here. they don't have to come up with something that's never been tried before. the order maintenance type policing, but you can't do that when "black lives matter" and the aclu has done standards that don't let police officers on the street do it. the chicago police department, sean, it's unbelievable what officers have to do after every stop. traffic stop or a field interview stop. there's some form that they have to fill out after each and every stop. it discourages police officers. >> sean: ainsley, let's go back to you.

and the time that obama has been present, nearly 4,000 people in chicago killed. >> yeah, it is unbelievable. more people died in chicago in 2016 than in l.a. and new york combined. chicago is the city now that is so dangerous. they have some of the strictest gun laws. they don't allow assault weapons. these activists say we need strict gun laws. there is no correlation there. strict gun laws does not mean that murders are down. look at chicago. strict gun laws but murders are up. >> sean: i love that trumpnn said if you can't do the job, then we will do it. maybe that is the message because all lives do matter. great reporting. thank you, congratulations, your book is again number one. number one best-selling book in the country. i wrote the forward. >> really, you have a book coming out? >> march release date. race crime and politics for a

what advice would he give president obama, hillary clinton, and president-elect donald trump?ie hearing hillary blame wikileaks, james comey for help on election loss, what is your message to hillary clinton? >> i don't think she is particularly important anymore. the democratic party is important. it is important to have a strong opposition. the democratic party now has moment where it can go through a reformation, they can only go through that reformation if it looks at the generating reasons for the loss. in my mind, it's because the rigging of the primary process. they didn't take the candidate. you battle it out, you have different contenders and the idea is that the strongest candidate is who you send off into the main election. that didn't happen. why didn't it happen?

because the dnc was rigged. the dnc would no longer represent its genuine interests of the democratic party. that's the problem. my message to the u.s. democratic party is now is a moment for reformation and for a new democratic party. take the information we have published, which shows you who are the different players are, how they worked. learn from it, and reform. because every government has to have a strong opposition to keep it efficient, countable, honest, et cetera. >> sean: let me ask about your message to barack obama through this president. he now joins the ranks of blaming wikileaks and russia and hacking for having an influence in the election. meanwhile in ignoring the documents from china, his own attempted for the israeli

arbitrator of the different factions. >> sean: what it would your advice be for the incoming president, donald trump? >> to learn from that. to learn from the mistakes that were committed by hillary clinton, barack obama, especially in this area of transparency. if you can get the information out as soon as possible, then you can correct as soon as possible. but i think the donald trump early on in this administration, he needs to go to someone in that cabinet, okay, you are a friend. maybe an ally, but you did the wrong thing here. so you are fired. and that standard needs to be set early. no one is immune to betraying. >> sean: he can be honest,
