paint senator sessions, a good man, as a racist. we told you about this program before, they deploy this every election and it's something they've used sadly successfully to undermined and its top republicans in the past. take a look at president obama trying to link donald trump to the ku klux klan. >> if you tolerate supporters who are clan sympathizerso befoe you are elected, then you will receive their support once you are in office. if you accept the support of ku klux klan sympathizers, andff hesitate when asked about that support, then you will tolerate that support when you are in office. if you accept the support of klan sympathizers before your president, you will accept

their support after you are president. >> sean: if you were surprised by that, well, you shouldn't be. democrats resort to these tactics to try and scare you, the voters, to support them. here is vice president joe biden, doing the exact same thing in 2012. watch this. >> look at what they value and look at their budget. romney said in the first 100 days make the banks write their own rules. unchained wall street. [booing] >> they will put you all back in chains. >> sean: pretty disgraceful. and then al gore, take a look at this. >> it's wrong with the leader of the republican party and this congress are doing and blocking an accurate sense it's because they don't want to count everyone that they don't think they can count on.

how low the left is willing to go to scare you, the voters. they want to get their way. remember back in 1987, ronald reagan nominated one of the brightest judicial minds in the country to serve on the supreme court and democrats led by liberal senator ted kennedy immediately used scare tactics to destroy the nomination. take a look. >> it's a land in which women would be forced into back alley abortions, blacks would sit at segregated lunch counters. rogue police could break down citizen stores in midnight raids. and schoolchildren cannot be taught about evolution, writers and artists would be censored at the whim of government. >> sean: sure enough after kennedy stunted, they were able to block bork's nomination. clarence thomas, during his senate confirmation, democrats b brought out his former employee, anita hill.

of the judiciary committee. they will be playing the race card, democrats, against senator sessions. if you do a little bit of research, the media will never do it, you will actually see that they are proven to be false. what the left won't tell you is that this, jeff sessions is a man with a civil rights record the people should envy. as a u.s. attorney, he prosecuted members of the ku klux klan. as a u.s. senator has repeatedly praised civil rights icon rosa parks, he has often praised by his colleagues and has worked on several key bipartisan bills with senators like -- democrats won't tell you that sessions was 1 of 19 republicans who voted to confirm, instead, democrats will smear senator sessions to damage

the incoming trump administration. former speaker of the house, fox news contributor, newt gingrich. i wanted to give a history, and you are the historian of all the times every election this happens, every confirmation season this happens, and it seems like jeff sessions will bear the brunt of this tomorrow. i just want to remind people of just how low people will sink in an effort because they have political differences. what are your thoughts? >> first of all, it's amazing how incompetent and lacking in imagination the liberal democrats have become. if this is the best they can do, they might as well go home and relax. first of all, jeff sessions not only prosecuted the head of thee ku klux klan, and won the case, he also got an $8 million

judgment against the klan in alabama, it's pretty hard to argue that these are behaviors of somebody who was in any way racist. i also think if you look at hism whole career as a senator. it's quite clear that he has been courteous. he has been bipartisan, and getting the former general approved, you don't get much g better then getting senator lee who he himself is pretty liberal to say that you've been doing a good job on a bipartisan basis. my guess is these guys are making noise to raise money. and their left-wing activist, in desperate hope to hold together the african-american community for democrats.s. in the end, it's not going to work. jeff sessions is going to be approved and the burden will be on the trump administration to prove that it's committed to a new deal for african-americans and approve it really is concerned about the inner city.

i think if that works, then we are in a different world by next year. >> sean: it's a fair for some but he like myself to look at hillary clinton, she once praised a former klansman, as her mentor. or kennedy, one of the smartest constitutional minds, robert bork, he's a guy that left a woman in a car in chappaquiddick and i am thinking, they get such high praise from democrats. you can argue yeah, it happened years ago.g, but what they are trying but with senator sessions happened 30 plus years ago. >> nobody in america who is rational is going to look at a 30-year-old joke, first of all and remember it, and it's i can think about what are you talking about? we are talking about a u.s. senator, reelected again and again by his constituents, a man who is recognized by his colleagues. someone who is played a major it's role in a presidential campaign. the best evidence they can come up with is 30, 35 years ago?

that's why i said at the beginning here, what i am struck with is how brain-dead the left is. i mean it's kind of like the l series "the walking dead." these folks get up in the morning, walk down the hall yelling, "racist." that's all they've got left.t. i think it is derision. this is the behavior of a pathetic generation of left-wingers who have nothing left except chanting old slogans. >> sean: i'm hearing from conservatives, congress is raising the debt ceiling by $9 trillion over the next couple years, i do not know howe they are going to pay for it. rick santorum brought it up over the weekend that he is shocked that republicans have not coalesced behind a single plan to repeal and replace obamacare.

are those valid criticism? are you worried about any of those issues? >> i think they are valid criticisms, although the debt a ceiling part -- you have to raise the debt ceiling if you don't balance the budget. >> sean: $9 trillion? >> that basically gets them out of doing it for the entire>> administration. i happen to agree with resident electron, they should be repealing obamacare piece by piece as they find replacements. i don't think republicans want to have 23 million people out there worried that they are going to lose their insurance and have democrats blame republicans for it. i think there are steps that can be taken, you can take a numberk of steps right this minute that will move it to the right direction. but it has got to be simultaneously repeal and replace, it can't be repeal now and trust this will be back in a

year. nobody trust politicians. they are going to be worried the whole time. on the other hand, i do hope that the president-elect huge opportunities to move to a balanced budget in his second term if you take them. he you brought about the only balanced budgets in your lifetime, i am very prepared to sit down with the director and a lay out a plan to get a balanced budget and a second term. i think it takes five or six years. i think it's doable. really creating jobs, and moving america forward on a broad front. that should be their goal. >> sean: all these years, we talked a little bit about this,t the white house has been hacked, the department of defense, the state department, the irs, the postal service, the office of personnel management, 22 millioe files in 2014 of americans, the

chinese hacked into it. obama never said a word about it. what you make about this obsession to blame russia, iran, china, north korea, oh, no, russia because of the deal with donald trump. why have they not fixed this problem going for the last decade we were being hacked so often? >> let me start by saying i think the intelligence officials should have resigned rather than agreed to this kind of a stunt. they had discredited the intelligence agencies, they have weakened their credibility. they've made it harder to get the american people to believe them when they have something serious to say. it's an absurdity. president of the united states, president obama imposesse sanctions a week before he gets a report? and then expects us to believe the report matters? this is a political charade. it is designed to allow the left to say that trump is not really president because the russians did it. hillary didn't really lose, the russians did it.

>> he needs to focus on delivering on the agenda and that its number one, repealing obamacare. i know there is a bigig fight about repeal and replace. but we have to repeal obamacare. >> you don't think as to bee replaced immediately? >> the process should be a started. there is a lot of discussion going on in the house and p senate, i am frankly shocked that they don't have a plan. that they haven't really prepared for this. i know it is not going to be an easy thing to do, but they should've put a little bit more work into it, now here in the interim. figuring out a plan for it. but no one to my knowledge has a real clear plan of how to do that. that's a big problem. >> sean: kellyanne conway, reaction on this. i know there are nine competitive plans. i've interviewed the president-elect on what his plan is, why is there not a consensus yet and it does the president-elect believe that if we repeal it, we need a replacement right away?

>> we need to repeal and replace it, there is a consensus on some of the operating principles, which is very important to that ultimate plan, sean. people that rely on health care will not be stripped of their coverage. they don't have to worry andll listen to the hard left that is trying to scare them into believing that they will lose their coverage. that is not true. secondly, we need to repeal that obamacare tax right away. the penalty is really part of the burden that has bothered so many americans from the beginning. it's why republicans won in 2010, 2014, 2015. people don't like that penalty, that premium that has increased. prices are higher and access has been diminished. the other operating principle is that this will be patient centered, not government centered health care. you will be able to purchase

health care across state lines, with your name on it so you can have better control of your spending. people don't take the rental car to a car wash before they turn it in, some people are mindful of health care signing if they don't control that. there have been elements that are free marketing, that will be part of the replacement plan. >> sean: he was very clear with me in the town halls with affordability, preconditions,ce health care savings accounts. that is in line. specifically putting the plan together.. did you tell rand paul in fact that we should not repeal it until it is ready to go? >> i don't know what he told senator paul specifically, but speaking to the president-elect daily about this issue should be no secret to anyone that when he said to repeal and replace it, he means it. he ran on it. he will do it. i would mention to everyone,

sean, that in 2010, the republicans won in large part to their repeal and replace of obamacare. why is that important? because they all made thatat promise. to repeal and replace obamacare. it is important that they happen in quick succession. here is the other thing. a lot of these members of congress had voted to repeal it but they'd never had an opportunity to replace it because the author of obamacare, president obama vetoed those measures. they need to make good on these promises. it's the best example that americans have of how invasive intrusive, expensive obamacare is and i think it would be a mistake to get rid of the penalties and not get rid of thp regulations. some republicans are openly talking about that. we really need to gut the most corrosive aspects of obamacare.

keeping people uncovered to have it. >> sean: the way people portray this is interesting, that is not what i heard in the interviews i had with him. let me give you another example. it came up last week. i had to go to the trump town hall archives of the hannity show to get the answer. because i said to him, he is going to build a wall, mexico will pay for the wall. numerous times, i asked him, they are not going to write you a check. and he said, yeah, i know that. let me roll the tape. >> one other thing we have to say, and mexico will pay for the wall. >> they are not going to write you a check. >> look, on trade, they are absolutely killing us. they are killing us at the border, untrained, we have a trade deficit with mexico. right there you can build a wall because the wall is a fraction of that.

right there. >> sean: so why are some people saying oh, now he is asking for appropriation? that is what he said. >> that is always what you promised. you know who heard him loud and clearly? the american people. they responded that. he made clear last week that will play for them to speed up the process, but the full intent and plan is to have mexico reimburse us for it. this is the way the appropriations process goes. anyone who says anything differently isn't lying and is doing so for political reasons. i know firsthand that building the wall is part of some of his initial urgent propositions in his first weeks and months on the job. he ran on it and people who bet against donald trump will continue to be sorely disappointed. two months after his historic p win, people are still trying to parse his words. i'm going to bet on him coming out ahead on that one. >> sean: all right, kellyanne,
