-- to that end, yesterday president trump met with business and union leaders at the white house where he pledge today reduce regulations by as much as 75%. he then signed his first of three executive orders killing one of president obama's signature trade deals, the transpacific partnership. >> we just officially terminated tpp, we are going to have trade but we are going to have one-on-one and if somebody misbehaves we will send them letter of termination, they either straighten it out and we are gone. >> but not all republicans agree. senator john mccain tweets, serious mistake for american economy. president trump also signed two executive orders, one implementing a hiring freeze on federal workers, the other prohibiting federal funding of foreign organizations that promote or provide abortions.

today president trump is another jammed-packed schedule with focus on jobs and manufacturing. he will be hosting and asking for their advice on how to bring jobs back to the united states. at 11:00 he will sign another executive order, but we don't know extrait's about. in the afternoon a series of meetings or phone calls with the indian prime minister, the new cia director mike pompeo. heather and clayton, another busy day for president trump. clay lay time for lunch? heather: he said from the beginning, jobs, jobs, jobs. clayton: i would be looking for one. if day one is any indication president trump is anything, it's proof that he means business. >> most of these issues are things he campaigned on, the moment with the union leaders, all of whom supported hillary

3,000 tornado reports over the weekend and we are seeing the rain, the wind, the snow and the freezing rain. we could see significant icing across portions to northern new england and maine. be extra careful if you live in these areas. we will say good-bye to this system and then we will see another system move up to great lakes and the northeast on thursday. warm temperatures along the coast so mainly a rain. can you imagine it if we were dealing with freezing temperatures the last storm system would be a blizzard with feet of snow. there's there's silver lining. now, across the west, still watching the the last storm system. quieter weather pattern, which we like. however, we will see some of that energy across the rockies moving into the northern plains and the midwest where we could see upwards 6 to 8-inches of snow and that's why we have

clayton: let's talk about tpp, first of all, what is it and what are we doing now? >> so president obama got the united states involved in tpp but if you remember this is actually not gone through congress yet so it's not a trade pack that is all the way recognized fully, so i don't know that average americans will feel the effects of what president trump did just yesterday and you've seen this morning that obviously senator john mccain has warned against this but president trump made clear throughout the campaign that he wanted to pull the united states out from these broad multinational trade agreements say that the united states should only be involving itself in trade agreements one-on-one with other countries and he's talked to union leaders about this, basically what he wants to do is make sure that american jobs stay in the united states and that's why he did this yesterday. heather: one of the issues that hillary clinton flip-flopped.

freeze for government hiring. he's going to shrink government. this though does not include the military. >> right. this is the biggest one yesterday with respect to how americans will see the impacts of this. i have seen some critics say that this could mean for average americans longer lines at some agencies where they get government services like social security, for example, but remember, this is not going to be like the government shut down in 2013, we will have plenty of government workers filling those roles, it means they can't hire anyone new and long-term, president trump has been saying that he wants to cut the size of the federal workforce through save taxpayers' money because there are jobs better duh -- duplicative.
