violence, he moaned, somewhere ronald reagan weeps. that's what he really thinks, no matter what he tells you on tv. that is it from us tonight. see you tomorrow at nine. sean is next. have a great night. >> sean: tonight. the legal battle over president trump's temporary travel ban continues counsel to the president kellyanne conway is here with reaction. >> the border is soft and weak, drugs are pouring in, and i am not going to let that happen. >> sean: then our hannity producers today right along with the border patrol. to see how bad things really are today on our southern border. geraldo rivera weighs in. >> the men and women of the united states military, they are the greatest fighters and greatest force of justice. on thear face of the earth. >> sean: and president trump outlined his vision for
10:01 pm
america's military and also the looming showdown ratcheting up with iran. we will check in was colonel oliver north, and he will react. speak up much of the media, not all of it, it's very dishonest. >> sean: president trump finds back with biased press. they respond. hannity starts right here, right now. and welcome to "hannity," a fierce illegal battle is brewing over president trump's extreme cutting executive order as liberals on the left continue to be willing to gamble with the lives of you, the american people. that is tonight's opening monologue. legal back and forth is complete and total nonsense, but we shouldn't even be at this point in the first place, and here is why. this is a classic example of activist judges ruling based on their own personal opinions and not on what the law actually says. a judicial activism. if you look at the u.s. code,
10:02 pm
the pretense that his executive action, let me put up on the screen. it reads... now daniel horwitz, our friend over a conservative review wrote an article entitled, rogue judges undermining our sovereignty and here is how congress can stop them. in it, he argues that the judiciary branch of our government, especially on the lower levels, has been utterly polluted by progressive judges who decided rulings that arede based on personal or political opinions, not on the law, not oi standing, not on the
10:03 pm
constitution. so in other words, a lawsuit can be broughtht before a liberal judge, they can go judge shopping, or liberal leaning court, it can have a national impact like what we are now seeing playing out. according to him, congress should work to take back their power from these activist courts in order to protect you, the american people, our sovereignty, and the rule of law. for example, the u.s. ninth circuit court of appeals with its legal battle is now playing out is known by all to be the most liberal federal appeals court in the country. if you look at the seattle-based federal judge, james robart who put up temporary halt on the president's extreme vetting executive order on friday. he has a history of questionable rulings. according to "the seattle times" to a hearing last year on police reform, judgen robart declared "black lives matter." of course always matter, and there is the out of control liberal hypocrisy that is on full display here. for example, he is crying foul
10:04 pm
over the executive order, but with the senator is not telling you that back in 2015, he actually said a pause on admitting refugees into the country was necessary. there are the two most recent democratic presidents. they argued in favor of tougher immigration laws. it was take a look at bill clinton. this is back in 1995 during his state of the union address. take a look. >> all americans, not only in the states most heavily affected and everyplace in this country are rightly disturbed by the large numbers of illegal aliens entering our country. the jobs they home might otherwise be held by citizens or illegal immigrants. the public service they use imposed burdens on our taxpayers. that is why our administration has moved aggressively to secure our borders more by hiring a record number of new border guards, by deporting twice as many criminal aliens as ever before, by cracking down on illegal hiring, by buying welfare benefits to illegal aliens. we are a nation of immigrants,
10:05 pm
but we are also a nation ofig laws. it is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of im permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years, and we must do more to stop it. >> sean: nation of immigrants, nation of laws, it self-defeating. it doesn't that sound a lot like president trump now? it does. of course back when president clinton said it, it was collective outrage from the left, never happen. if that is not left for liberals, there's also president obama. this is him back in 2014 saying this. let's look at more hypocrisy. >> today, our immigration systm is broken. and everybody knows it, even as we are a nation of immigrants, we are also a nation of laws. undocumented workers broke our immigration laws, and i believe that they must be held accountable. if you are a criminal, you will be deported. if you plan to enter the u.s. illegally, your chances of getting caught and sent back just went up.
10:06 pm
the actions i am taking are not only lawful, they are the kind of actions taken by every single republican president and every single democratic president for the past half-century. to those members of congress who questions my authority to make our immigration system work better, or question the wisdom of me acting one compass has failed, i have one answer, pass a bill. >> sean: there you have it. the only reason liberals are resisting president trump's action onn extreme vetting is they are trying to score cheap political points. it doesn't matter that president obama and congress came up -- they came up with a list of the seven countries that president trump referred to in his executive order. liberals, they don't seem to mind one bit, and according to "the new york post," visa holders fromm the seven countris that have ties to tear and extremism are now rushing into the country while they can thinks of the courts. president trump's policy is very
10:07 pm
straightforward and instead of twisting misrepresenting donald trump's intentions, the left should listen very closely to what the president said earlier today. listen closely, especially if you are a liberal. >> we need strong programs, so that people that love us and want to love our country and will end up loving our country are allowedd in. not people that want to destroy us and destroy our country. >> sean: my message to the left and i is very clear. if you want to keep playing games, you go right ahead. know this. if one american loses their life, is killed as a result of letting in dangerous costs, unvented people into this country, you are to blame, and you will have blood on your hands and you can explain that to the american people why you put politics ahead of theiril safety. earlier today, i spoke to the special counsel to the president kellyanne conway, and here iss
10:08 pm
what she said. killian, good to see you. >> hi. >> sean: you look at the history of all this, it seems to be all politics, great hypocrisy on this place. what if somebody that has not that it is killed in the meantime? what does that mean? are they willing to give in with american lives. >> he has a right, he has a responsibilityas and the duty to attacked americans, and that is what he is trying to do here. what you read, the past comments from liberals like president obama and president bill clinton are very closely aligned with that president trump is trying to do now, as our commander-in-chief and president. we find that the particular order coming out of the seattle judge is overly broad. it's a nationwide injunction. he referenced religion when it fact it has nothing to do with the executive order. it's not in there. the fact is that we don't even know if the states that sue would have standing, the
10:09 pm
vigils have standing and age of show harm and damages. >> sean: at the other things that totals dishonesty here, i'm going to put up on the screen, 43 countries. majority muslim countries representing 90% of the world's muslims are not included in the band, including indonesia, 258 million muslims, egypt 95 million, bangladesh hundred 56 million, pakistan 201 million. for the news media keep saying that it is something it is not. that has got to be frustrating when they say it is a litmus test, a religious test, or a muslim ban. what is your reaction to the false reporting? >> at the reaction is that president obama himself said that the same seven countries needed special screening. if they weren't just picked of a hat. they were actually designated by president obama and congress as they needed special screening. they have a tradition and history of training, harboring,

and exporting terrace. we've seen that. there's an article that is not getting much play today that i really want to call to everyone's attention. it's in the associate oppressed by eric tucker. he basically fact-check the judge in seattle, judge robards and said that the judge was incorrect when he said that no one has been arrested for extremism under this kind of -- just be when i pointed that out to my radio show. >> i appreciate that. the judge from the bench had askedyb the attorney to back attorney how many people have axley been arrested under this e of order and i said i don't kno. everybody can look at eric tucker associate oppressed. i don't hear the media covering this. this should be the biggest story of the day. he was wrong, but he did it from the bench. all of us are wrong once in a while, and we apologize and immediate left effect, but this is a judge who then said that issued a nationwide injunction from the bench in seattle in the ninth circuit and was just wrong from the bench
10:11 pm
and what he said about what this type of extreme vetting would provide or could have prevented had it been emplaced earlier. >> sean: kelly end, there are many countries that if you haves really countries that do not let you in their country, just because you have an israeli passport, i want to put up the screen and show you something. if democracy matters, strategic plan for action. this was discovered by the beacon that involves david brock. inside this memo it has plans for defeating trump eight for impeachment, this information, the midterm elections, and more importantly filing lawsuits agat the trump administration. that is prettyit much telling me that they are going to judge shop for the next four years to defeat the administration on every agenda item. how do you combat that? >> you combat a bite to them with the president is already

10:13 pm
as a professional left want to continue with this permanent campaign and never actually accept the results that this is everyone's president and he has tried to do it for everyone, then they will have to -- people can judge for themselves. i think the left is not off to a really good start. they sound like a bunch of crybabies. what about all these democratic senators who voted to confirm neil gorsuch to a federal appeals court already ten years ago? what changed now except for politics? the american people could see the hypocrisies there. they can see what these protesters are really saying, what they are really about, and they can adjust themselves. >> sean: kellyanne, great to see you. i know you're busy every day. coming up "hannity" special investigation. we sent our cameras down to read along with the border patrol this weekend. look at what they found, among many think i'm a 400 pounds of drugs. that is coming up next. you also get reaction from geraldo. also tonight.

>> sean: welcome back to "hannity." last night, millions and millions of people turned in to watch super bowl li. they witnessed history as quarterback tom brady let the new england patriots on the win against the falcons after being
10:48 pm
down 18 points after halftime. here with reaction is the cohost of "first take" on his pen. a personal friend, stephen a smith. >> listen, i appreciate it to tell you the truth, i wanted you on the show because he wanted to get people the impression you actually know sports. we both know better. >> sean: i like him people more than you. he spent years beating up on my buddy. >> do you mean my friend? my friend, tim tebow? [laughter] >> sean: he forgives you from all the cap stuff you say about him. he is a great guy, he is a great, he just couldn't throw. let's go to football, tom brady, i picked him by three. the reason, the difference between those two good teams the falcons have a great team, i am very impressed with matt ryan. what a season he has had. they did well, the difference is brady, bella check, and craft.
10:49 pm
>> he picked brady a four-time champion in the game. he really stepped on a limb there. i picked the patriots to win because of tom brady. he put on a show last night. i've always been a joe montana guide. that guy was number one on my list. a change last night. brady gave me the one thing i thought he was lacking his career was that montana moment when he drove in san francisco down the field, connected with john taylor. what i saw last night from brady eclipsed all of that. it was sensational. >> sean: no words to really describe it. it wasn't surprising. he's done it so often. >> i've been covering sports for 24 years, and i'm telling you right now, i have never seen a performance on an nfl field like last night. >> sean: kind of reminds me of the election this year when donald trump one. he calls me off here when i'm doing my radio show. he's like you are wrong. you text me, you are wrong. >> you are usually wrong, but somebody has to bero here for a peer you say to me all the b time, you take a lot of from people for being my friend. why is that?
10:50 pm
>> it's fox news, it's you, you are a seller in terms of it. i am not -- she's my friend. i don't believe that till i hear that. at the same time, i hate to say this on national television, even though i think you are wrong about 75% of the time, you are right sometimes. you are also a very nice guy. guy.re not a bad he will now you are softening me up. >> you are just wrong sometimes, to be herewhat i try for you to help you out for them best of my abilities. >> sean: you said your buddy trump has no chance to win. i still have the text. >> that was after the tapes came out. i never said that before hand. >> sean: if you told me you betterer jump ship now. >> what i was saying was excuse me, particularly when it comes to presidential elections, we see the kind of rhetoric, we see the kind of behavior, and then we say --dash.
10:51 pm
>> sean: it when they attacked you. >> we get unfairly attacked all the time when you're doing stuff. yes, sean hannity, you had my back, but at the same time as much as i appreciate it -- i was up on a plate as long as i was employed. it didn't bother me. >> sean: i tell you what i left about yesterday's game and what i love about champions. there is an art history. look at matt ryan's pass to julio jones. wow that was amazing. but the past and the catch was spectacular. then you look at brady and this run through the fourth quarter into overtime. there is an artistry here. every pass you are threading the needleti in football, and you le to see the guys that worked so hard to do so well. >> let me highlight why a picked
10:52 pm
brady. i sit at the end of the day, if you are going to beat him, you got to blow him out if your atlanta.a. they are starting four rookies i on defense. you got eight dudes on the defensive side of the ball that are 24, 25 years of age. the point is your experience in the game of a this magnitude is the biggest stage of sports in this nation. you got to go up against and to be tight. you got to come down the line and go get to do this 39 years of age, a four time champion who's been in six super bowls at the time. he's not worried about it. you have to be worried, and of those guys -- >> sean: i like the edelman klatch. >> it was very like when they beat. >> sean: they beat new england in the super bowl twice. >> why are you just raving about boston? >> sean: tom brady, all you
10:53 pm
media people on the sports side, sports media are the worst. they want to brutalize every player. you have a bad day. >> after the election, you got the audacity to talk about sports media. is that what you just said? >> sean: we won! we won! >> talking about the sports may not you're talking about political folks. you said the media is dead, they died a long t time ago. now you're talking about sports. >> sean: if you lose, they beat the out of you. >> because you lost! >> sean: trump won! >> i did not vote for trump, no i did not, but i will say this. even though i did not vote for him, not only is he are present, respect the man hold him cocountable, no question about that. also, be clear, the trump that i saw before the election was nothing like the trump that i saw during the election. >> sean: i personally told you he existed. >> you did. i will give you credit for that. by the way, i know it's
10:54 pm
important to you to get credit because lord knows you are usually wrong. it's a good moment for you. >> sean: i was right about obama, i was right about tivo, and i'm right about brady, and i write about trump. >> while we are still in the here you have the audacity listed up there and challenge me to debate on first take one day. i want you to know that i would advise that against you to be a bents me for two hours. you don't want any part ofi' th. >> sean: i am so interested. i will even take you in a mma match if you want. >> i will lose to you. >> sean: i've been training five years. >> i mess with you. >> sean: my buddy, thank you. love you. up next, we need your help for the question of the day. straight ahead. yep. h&r block and ibm watson together. creating a future of more money going back into the pockets of more families.
