how i'm doing, send me a tweet and find me on facebook and instagram. and with that, the shows over. "justice with judge jeanine" is next and don't forget, i'm watters and this is my world. . >> right now on "justice," back to basics. >> i want to be in a room filled with hard working american patriots who love their country, who salute their flag, and who pray for a better future. >> after a contentious week, president trump literally wraps himself in the love of his most ardent supporters.. >> this guy! >> at a raucous campaign rally in florida. he wasn't the only one on the mic. >> president trump going the election, promised all these things he was going to do for us. >> we're talking about it all night. plus "justice" new york style. judge jeanine: are these
6:01 pm
mainstream media people out of their minds? >> they are. judge jeanine: why? >> forget about it. judge jeanine: i can't forget about it. we got to do a segment. >> judge jeanine hits the streets. a packed hour of "justice" starts now. . >> hi, everyone, president trump takes message directly to the people with rally for fired up supporters in florida. i'm brian kilmeade, i'm hosting "justice" but i'm not jeanine pirro. though we're very, very similar in so many ways except for her huge legal background and she's a lot nicer, a little more direct. thanks for being with us on this beautiful saturday and sunday night.
6:02 pm
they don't get it. despite all their lives, misrepresentations and false stories, they could not defeat us in the primaries and they could not defeat us in the general election. you want safe neighborhoods where the streets belong to families and communities. not gang members and drug dealers who are right now, as i speak being thrown out of the country and they will not be let back in.
6:03 pm
we will have strong borders again. bad, bad people, i said it, day one. and they're going out. or they're being put in prison, but for the most part, get them the hell out of here. you want a health care system, and by the way, we are going to be submitting in a couple of weeks a great health care plan that's going to take the place of the disaster known as obamacare. it will be repealed and replaced. >> he was on his game today, and then this, the president recognized one of the rally attendees from news interviews earlier in the day. he does like to watch the news, and actually invited this man on stage for his moment in the sun. >> when president trump, during the election, promised all
6:04 pm
these things he was going to do for us, i knew he was going do this for us. >> a star is born. >> that man will be joining us live in a few moments. katrina pierson joins us, the former campaign spokesperson for donald trump and joins us live. what do you think the secret service is thinking as he called out that gentleman from the audience and said come on up here. that is their nightmare, but certainly worked out. >> you know, good to see you, brian. this brings back memories from the campaign. this is the campaign all over again giving secret service a heart attack because donald trump, the man, loves people, and you can see that everywhere he goes. this rally was vintage trump, setting the record straight surrounding all of the fake news in the administration, he's used to this and going to continue to fight back. judge jeanine: i remember in the fall when he hopped on the teleprompter, he had to discipline himself on the
6:05 pm
campaign trail, you had to defend him. he was awkward on the teleprompter like we all are in the beginning. i felt as though he wrote every word, even though steve miller helped a lot. he felt every word, he was in the moment. that was thoroughly him on stage, the way they wove in history. how he got there and what he's done since he's been there, do you agree? >> absolutely. he reminded everyone that there were presidents of the nast criticized the media as well all the way back to the founders. this is his true element because his heart is in this, and the media and the pundits thought the candidate trump was going to change into someone we didn't recognize, which i said a thousand times over the last two years that candidate trump is going to be president trump and he has one gear, that's to make america great again. >> for me, people considering positions right now, appointed positions, let alone nominations and during the
6:06 pm
week, some were getting nervous about the way this was playing out. you saw republicans turning on donald trump a little bit. i thought thursday's press conference and today's rally was a message for them as well as his supporters that i'm here, i'm fine, and i'm in control. >> oh, absolutely. you will recall several stories throughout the campaign criticizing the campaign and the staff and things that were going on. you know what? he withered through, it continued to go out there, set the record straight in front of media. you're going to see a lot more from the president because you're right, there are republicans waning against mr. trump because they don't know what's going on and don't understand the kind of man that donald trump is, as president, he's going to continue to be a winner. >> katrina, you know all the people around the president intimately, and we got a chance to know him, america has over 18 months. sean spicer, reince priebus, steve bannon. what are you hearing and how
6:07 pm
the disunity hear the the president so far? >> look, there's always those rumors, particularly around this administration. we heard this on the campaign. the president has assembled the right team at the right time to do what he needs to get done. i wouldn't doubt they are offering opinions, that's why there's a diverse crowd around him. >> national security adviser position's open after lieutenant general michael flynn was asked to leave or he's no longer there. in that position, i would love to see a steve hadley who knows how to work his way around washington. understands what it's like to not get the spotlight. put the president first but also how to get things done. would you like to see someone with more inside washington white house experience there? >> well, it depends who that individual is. to your point, if it's someone they think shares the same
6:08 pm
foreign policy values as the president and knows washington, i would agree with you 100%. >> next, and you got a lot of this. there are a lot of republicans that want no part about donald trump and wrote about it and talked about it then he won. some are up for positions, mitt romney didn't get the job, they healed relationship. elliott abrams did not get the position because of stance in the past. there are matters that mattis wrote columns in anti-trump fashion, downing the president should put that behind him and look for the best person and not where they were during his campaign? >> i think it's extremely important that you have someone close to you who is loyal as well as someone who believes in you, with the same foreign policy position, and i do think that the president will take all of those things into consideration. some of those individuals meant what they said, others were saying things for political
6:09 pm
reasons and the president is going to weigh out everything before making that choice. >> this week, what do you look to get done? word is executive order reissued this week. word is we get a look at budget perhaps this week or next. that's going to create consternation but will show things getting done. what could you look forward to for next week? >> well, i'm definitely looking forward to the new executive order, the president did mention it's likely next week we're going to see that. that is a commitment he made to all americans was to stop potentially hostile people from coming into the country until they could be properly vettid and think it's only right and fair to allow him to get this done. >> katrina pierson who took a lot of incoming over 18 months and kept a smile on her face the entire time. >> it was worth it. >> thank you for joining us this morning. now can you have a great saturday, now a great weekend. >> thank you. >> meanwhile, a lot of talk what's going to happen after tonight's rally by almost all accounts was successful. bring in political panel for
6:10 pm
the first of many times. matt schlapp, the chairman of the american consumer union, and from long island, new york, which is a lovely place i've heard, radio talk show host former adviser to senator schumer, the minority leader to one of the most powerful democrats in the country. chris hahn. great to have. >> you great to be here. >> matt, i didn't think going rallies when so much needed to be done was a good move. after watching that, i do think it was a good move, what do you think? >>. >> i think as many days as donald trump can be on air force one going tout see regular americans is a good day. true for all presidents. you get stuck in the belt way, stuck with all the criticisms and the way it's normally done, he ought to bust out and see people. >> chris, here's the other thing about getting out of washington. not only are you in a bubble. everybody doesn't like you. so in washington, most are talking about what a bad job he's doing?
6:11 pm
he shouldn't be president. we don't like his style. i think he needed to get out for therapy but i need to know as great a democrat as you are, you recognize republicans are strong. i felt as though the performance and the content of the speech was excellent, did you? >> wasn't a bad speech. i didn't agree with a lot of it. i thought 10% was attempt to unify the country. it did remind me from the scene from soap dish where whoopi goldberg takes sally field to the mall. >> we don't watch those movies. >> blockbuster, and i couldn't get through it. >> 1980s reference, give me some slack. >> can i ask you a question? whoopi who? >> good point. >> matt, in terms of the content of the speech, there was unifying message. take this for a second. one democratic face i've seen at the white house maybe three times.
6:12 pm
the latest was thursday, joe manchin. john tester has been there. joe donnelly has been there. do you think that, if you were to talk to donald trump right now would be to reach out to democrats in a way showing support. they need him in districts and states and he needs them. >> heidi heitkamp as well. he wants to work with them but also wants to work on them. he wants to work with them to get legislative agenda passed especially on things that take 60 votes in the senate and wants to work on them politically. he realizes people like joe manchin are in states he won overwhelmingly. north dakota, west virginia, all the other states where these democrats are up. he's got a real chance to take them out, and they know it. >> is chuck schumer on them constantly saying don't think about yourself, think about the party? what do you think he's thinking? >> i think that chuck schumer seeing opening with republicans defecting from the president's
6:13 pm
agenda. thursday did not help the president at all. i think his star has not been serving him well. they've got to focus the president, focus agenda, be more precise what they're doing, or he does face losing republicans. we saw john mccain yesterday abroad, criticizing the president on foreign matters, and i think there are some other republican senators who the president is in danger of losing, today's speech was to show them he can draw the crowds. >> that was my point earlier, he's had the show, he's got the power. south carolina and 9,000 of that hangar. and thousands on the outside in a protest and everybody knows how important florida is. what chris is refer to is senator marco rubio and senator john mccain. john mccain has something personal against donald trump, right, matt? >> yeah, and go into foreign land and criticize your own
6:14 pm
president and say he has authoritarian tendencies who you are in germany. >> unbelievable. >> tone deaf, disrespectful and john mccain should apologize to the president. >> i can let everybody hear the sound bite, not the exact one you had, matt. we tightened it up, but let's listen. >> if you want to preserve democracy as we know it, you have to have a free and many times adversarial press, and without it, i'm afraid that we would lose so much of our individual liberties over time. that's how dictators get started. >> wow, and the speech was similar to that. your reaction, chris? >> look, the president talked today about how other presidents have tangled the press. he distinctively mentioned thomas jefferson, but thomas jefferson said if i have to choose between having a government and free press, i choose a free press and john mccain is very close to abandonning this president whole scale and not the only
6:15 pm
republican in the senate. and if the president doesn't get his staff together to be more focused within the white house, he's going to lose more than john mccain. >> matt, how ridiculous would it be for john mccain who waitedtor chairman of armed services that wants to build up the military, why wouldn't he be more street smart to understand he's not my cup of tea, insulted me personally, but man, we could do things together. why does he not see that? >> simple, brian, he's not a team player. it's all about him. and senators like the fact that any one senator can make havoc of the situation, that's what john mccain seems to want to do. >> i think john mccain is concerned about the direction of our country. i think john mccain is a patriot who served our country proudly, and i think that the president should take the warnings that john mccain has been sending his way very seriously and should get a serious person to run the white house. maybe he recruits governor kasich from ohio.
6:16 pm
>> no, we have serious people running the white house, that's absurd, chris. >> when you send somebody out like stephen miller last weekend, it doesn't show the level of seriousness this country is used to seeing from the white house. >> miller had a lot of answers, people were turned off. understood the policy at 31 years old, but a lot of people were turned off by. that my thing is from one on one diplomacy, john mccain was a headache to george bush as well, but a lot of the things he was saying was 100% right. maybe 50% of what he's sayin is right, but for the party do it behind closed doors and be more effective. huge fan of john mccain too and bigger fan of meghan mccain. i don't want to create problems in the halls, there are problems brewing, chris, you are right. if you have time and i know you have a movie at 11:30 tonight. if you don't mind stick around until later, we have you down on the agenda if you promise to come back. do i have your word? >> yeah. >> we want more punishment. >> right.
6:17 pm
matt's running c-pac a huge event for conservatives. >> coming up next week, brian, i'm stressed out. >> can't wait for the train tickets. coming up as judge jeanine's street justice is on the line. break down the president's big day as well as big poll results. and next, what a moment for if man recognized by the president of the united states and invited on stage. this man, gene huber will join us live next. r miss an early morning market. but with my back pain i couldn't sleep or get up in time. then i found aleve pm. the only one to combine a safe sleep aid plus the 12 hour pain relieving strength of aleve. and now. i'm back! aleve pm for a better am.

with me right now, that man, gene huber in melbourne, florida. thanks for being with us. >> hi, brian. >> on a saturday afternoon. >> first off, let's re-create the scene. you had a goal for your third
6:22 pm
trump rally. what was the goal? >> my goal was to be the first person online at president trump's rally. it was a mission of mine and i completed it. >> you said the first rally you went to, president trump's you were third, the next you were sixth and this one you were first. >> yes. >> that's when the news crew started finding you and interviewing you? >> brian, i felt like a king, i couldn't walk anywhere, i was like, wow, this is wonderful. and you know one of the introduce from fox, actually, you know, i mentioned i love president trump, and that's what the president heard. when he was flying on the plane to melbourne, he heard me say about that. that's how it all started, brian. >> he sees and you spots you in the audience, he points to you and what does he say? >> he goes come on up here! you know how he does. that points at you. he's like come up on here! let him in.
6:23 pm
i saw him walking up and as i come around to the bend, well, the secret service had no clue, and president trump goes, jump over the fence, you look healthy. i jumped the fence and i got tackled basically, and then president trump says let him go, let him go! and that's where history started, my friend. >> let me tell you, gene, you go up in front of 9,000 people, thousands on the outside. and you spoke from the heart. tell me about president trump, why do people in washington and new york and los angeles want to protest against him, and you are so fervently for him? what is it about trump that is so gene huber? >> you know, it's really -- it's truth, you know, it comes from his heart and you know the man is speaking the truth us to. in all the promises that he said, he's doing. so anything that president trump says just a firm believer

6:25 pm
i got a taxi and landed at 4:00 a.m. >> i feel bad for my next guest who whatever happens on the show and the network, nobody will be better than you. gene huber, thank you so much. you're a natural. >> thank you, sir, thank you, appreciate it. thank you. >> as president trump said, a star is born. next, you're going to get my opinion on the president's change in approach this week. we know about the press conference in the rally. plus we break down the rally and the press conference and talk about the message donald trump could help himself by listening to. >> the judge hits the streets to talk to new yorker about the comparisons of russian hacks and the justice department. i took warfarin for over 15 years. until i learned more about once-daily xarelto®... a latest-generation blood thinner. then i made the switch. xarelto® significantly lowers the risk of stroke in people with afib not caused by a heart valve problem. it has similar effectiveness to warfarin. warfarin interferes with vitamin k and at least six blood-clotting factors. xarelto® is selective. targeting one critical factor of your body's natural clotting function. for people with afib currently well-managed on warfarin, there is limited information on how xarelto® and warfarin compare in reducing the risk of stroke. like all blood thinners, don't stop taking xarelto® without talking to your doctor, as this may increase your risk of a blood clot or stroke. while taking, you may bruise more easily, and it may take longer for bleeding to stop. xarelto® may increase your risk of bleeding if you take certain medicines. xarelto® can cause serious, and in rare cases, fatal bleeding. get help right away for unexpected bleeding, unusual bruising, or tingling. if you have had spinal anesthesia while on xarelto®, watch for back pain or any nerve or muscle-related signs or symptoms.
6:29 pm
do not take xarelto® if you have an artificial heart valve or abnormal bleeding. tell your doctor before all planned medical or dental procedures. before starting xarelto®, tell your doctor about any conditions, such as kidney, liver, or bleeding problems. to help protect yourself from a stroke, ask your doctor about xarelto®. insurance changes? xarelto® has you covered.

brian: sorry to let you down, it's not judge jeanine tonight. she is going to be hosting the show. more on that in a second. the headline this week was supposed to be about failed labor secretary nominee dismissal of general flynn. president trump's 117-minute presser swamped the whole thing. momentum grabbed by the white house. some were horrified, some loved it, all of us were riveted by it but few should have been surprised by it, it was president trump being donald trump. theme, i will fight, i will survive under and pressure i will thrive. think about it. when this president is at his best under pressure. the biggest crisis in his campaign, the billy bush tape, on the second eve of the debate. the second debate was his best debate. one area he will never win as a brash republican president is with the media.

thanks for sticking around. if you bring up i'm not a bad guy, i watch the shows, i see the anger and the venom, do you think that there's a mission to the statements or do you think he's just saying how he feels? do you think he has a goal with the statements? >> i think he has a goal. but one of the things that worked for donald trump is he has authenticity. i worked for a president, brian, all presidents are mad at the media all the time. unlike most politicians, donald trump takes that frustration before the cameras. most politicians complain behind the cameras and donald trump tells it like he feels in front of the camera. it's authentic and real. by the way, the media is liberal. this is not a shocker to the american people. >> john mccain should know that, when he was a maverick, he loved them, when he got the nomination they beat up on him, he hated them. the war with the media, can you understand this frustration? >> i understand his frustration
6:44 pm
as all people in politics have been frustrated with the media. this does not help him expand from the 39% of american that are approving of his performance right now. if he wants to get that number up, he needs to start acting more presidential and less like a candidate. look, it may have worked when he with had race and a crazy race and opening for him. he now has to govern, and he's not talking to the 39%. he's talking to 52 senators in his own party that are becoming very concerned about the direction of the country. brian: you know, i definitely agree with you in this. i need to -- he'll go out on the campaign trail when he has a tax plan. he'll go on the campaign trail when he has the replacement for obamacare. that will be something you don't have to take out of campaign funds, right, matt? you sell a program like barack obama did with obamacare, he was relentless and donald trump could get the best of both worlds. lots being in front of crowds and have a program.
6:45 pm
