louisiana had this, the first state, i thought it would be great to have kentucky is the second state. >> to see how many lives have been impacted by violence. to give you a sense of this coming in matthew 2016, 64 shot and killed, 54%, an increase, and 20 one of those killed in 2016 were the result of an ambush style attack. it seems almost every day reporting on a police officer injured or killed. this is such a big issue today. do you think the bill will help improve those stats? >> i believe it will help stop people from doing it. somebody put some trees and branches on a highway ramp, and

that brought outrage across the state. if you are going to mess with our finest, men and women in blue, firefighters and emt, you get the full brunt of kentucky law. abby: you spend quality time with first responders in your state in kentucky, how are they feeling about things? >> for the popular culture, there is a general lack of respect for law enforcement. it seems to be growing. we have to stand with our men and women that stand for us. it is imperative we do this and this hate law that i passed and are awesome governor signed is just one of the things we can do for these great people. abby: now it would be considered a hate crime in louisiana and kentucky and the hope is for it

got into controversy when it went to president trump first, got a soundbite, let's play that. >> had a duty and obligation to tell him because as you know he is taking a lot of heat and to some degree there are things he should look at to see if the collection was proper or not. it was all legal, the question is should it have been done in the first place? >> he is getting a lot from the president, might be legal, do you think this is an ethical thing? >> my colleague's point, parliament surveillance stretch, the ones he went to the white house, the fact he didn't brief adam schiff who is democratic member, that is problematic.

the rule of thumb in congress is if you have new information and you brief the right member or the other party no matter what party is in power or run to the white house and give information to the president knowing our president had sticky twitter fingers. what is problematic is he didn't brief democrats are his fellow colleagues on the intelligence committee which is why members of the intelligence committee are so upset at representative nunez. abby: if we take richard at his word and think about this it seems no matter what is proven the democrats will say it was for a legitimate reason. you don't think the president my get an apology from the media? they went on a rampage. >> i doubt there will be any apology. what you see is if everything richard is saying, any bit of that surveillance is incidental,

form of life beyond earth but this life form is very deadly. it becomes more like an alien type movie, more of a horror film in the space, very intense, very brutal. my wife and i were watching, she was looking away a lot, there are some scenes that are very graphic. it has similarities to alien. one cool thing to look out for, the filmmaker did a cool job making this one long continuous tracking shot in the international space station, that scene is amazing. i give the movie four of five. it has a week beginning but gets better at the end. the ending is in the same. i walked in the room with six questions, six serious questions and all they wanted to do was joke around and the interview has gone viral, over 1 million hits.
