representative tom mcarthur was saying to one of the networks how he got there through cost-cutting for seniors. this is interesting. but there are some votes that are flipping. we could see some movement today. >> yes. and just to piggy bag on what mark was saying, we were talking about this earlier in the green room, i had a couple of minutes to digest your point. i was thinking about, yes, it's a win-win for the president. however, he is now saying it's today or bust, we're moving on, moving forward. but the downside for the president is that moving forward looks a whole lot different if he doesn't get it done. as we know, the stuff is set up like legos or dominos, we're looking to move on to tax reform next. that will be a lot more difficult without getting this done first. >> you haven't seen competing narratives. there are a lot of other things. the keystone pipeline pushed through, you saw the president talking about that today. i want to get your response, megan, to this.

president trump tweeted earlier, the irony is that we -- if we can pop it on the screen -- the freedom caucus which is a pro-life and against planned parenthood allowed p.p., planned parenthood, to continue if they stop this plan. >> i was surprised by this tweet. i thought paul rye on would take the fall for this hot mess sandwich. but it is going to be the freedom caucus apparently. home state of arizona, premiums up at 125%. 125%. okay, think about that much so, people who got outvoted, voted -- i know people that voted specifically on this issue, specifically on repealing obamacare are going to say, sorry, the freedom caucus and moderates can't find anything to unify over, we'll let you continue with this hot mess sandwich that. trump tower. that didn't happen. >> that was house intelligence committee chairman devon nunes. speaking to reporters a short while ago. he said paul manafort has volunteered to speak with his fanl panel as part of the ongoing investigation, whether russia meddled in the election. narm nunes has additional unmasking of names, he said he doesn't know how many were involved. the nsa is expected to respond today or early next week on the committee request on how many names were revealed in the intel report in the last half of 2016 and whether members of the trump and clinton teams were identified. the hearing scheduled on russia for tooled is now postponed. nunes says he's putting it off to make time for fbi director james comey and mike rogers to testify again. he says he wants more information from them that can only be addressed in a closed session. all this as democrats want an investigation into chairman nunes because he went to the white house and the press about his sur vile lance findings

intelligence target talking to trump officials, it's two foreign targets talking to each other. this doesn't back up what donald trump says. this information was then disseminated, obama administration took, this unmasked the names of americans, if you're an american and your name is mentioned in a foreign intercept it's supposed to be minimized. officials can ask now that information that name to be revealed. but then they disseminated it widely, lowered the classification level. >> some politicians on that list. >> with the goal of getting it to leak. >> are you working off the premise that he, nunes, as he said, he had an obligation to take this directly to the white house to the president? i know gillian is going to disagree. is that where are you? >> i think that he should have told the democrats on the committee, done three things at once. told democrats on the committee what he found. gone to the -- he did it publicly, didn't quietly go to trump, he went to the press and said i found this information. he didn't reveal sources and methods. and went to the president and toll him. >> gillian. >> >> this more than a process foul. this is an i like to kind of

senate democrats led by minority leader chuck schumer void to fill i burnter judge neil gorsuch's supreme court nomination. that signaled an imminent partisan showdown that could change the way the senate confirms nominees for the highest court. batch. >> to my republicans friends who think if judge gorsuch fails to reach 60 votes we ought to change the rule. if he can't earn 60 votes a bar met by each of president obama's nominees, and george bush's last two nominees, the answer isn't to change the rules, it's to change the nominee. >> senator lindsey graham who sits on the judiciary committee said he will do whatever it takes to get judge gorsuch confirmed even if it means going nuclear. earlier the south carolina republican reminded democrats it was actually them, it was them, who changed the senate rules under president obama.

>> the democrats changed the rules in 2013 to jam the circuit court with a bunch of obama nominees disallowing republicans to have any input. if they filibuster this man, we will have no other option but to change the rules f we don't that means this president trump can't make a selection to the supreme court and i won't allow that to happen. >> on the rare occasion that we quote a guest, i kind of want to do this first. you were talking about democrats not being interested in bipartisanship. this is something that you wrote about in the "washington post." so i want to put it up on the screen. this is just a few days ago. here it is. so, they want to destroy trump, conservatives should be thrilled by this. schumer is not only pushing trump on the right but also helping republicans consolidate and grow their congressional majority. by further alienating once reliably democrats blue collar voters who abandoned the party in the last election.
