putting aside the embarrassing russian reset strategy, the hillary clinton trie to enact a state. that is irrelevant right now. i want to focus directly on what could be the single most connection between the clintons and russia. in other words, the rarely covered scandal. ted koppel probably did not cover it. for weeks, we've been telling you there is zero evidence of this 8-month-old media conspiracy narrative that president trump and his campaign were secretly colluding with putin and the russians. zero evidence. i want to focus on the real scandal that is rarely covered by the salt left propaganda destroy trump media. it does involve the clintons and an enormous mining company called uranium one. let me give you some background. it is a canadian-based

multinational operation, the extract uranium a key material in nuclear weapons. they do it from asia, africa and australia. uranium one is responsible for one fifth of all uranium production right here in the united states. here's the back story. back in 2013, the company directly tied to the russian government purchased uranium one, a move by the way that was approved by hillary clinton state department. that is a very big deal. it allowed russia and vladimir putin to control 20% of all uranium production right here in the united states. you're thinking, that sounds weird, right? if you have not heard this before, you are probably watching the mainstream media. it gets a lot worse. even "the new york times" broke a bombshell report, the headliner was cash flow to clinton foundation amid russian uranium deal. according to the times finding, the chairman of uranium one made

huge massive donations to the clinton foundation. the times writes as the russians gradually control uranium one, canadian records show a massive flow of cash made its way to the clinton foundation. while millions of dollars flowed into the clinton foundation, the times also reported that bill clinton racked up massive huge speaking fees in moscow. the times writes... mr. clinton received $500,000 for a moscow speech from a russian investment bank with links to the kremlin. that was promoting uranium one stock. right here in this program, clinton has, he provided even more information. remember, clinton and russia --

been pushing the theory that is false with no evidence, why aren't members of the alt radical left destroy trump media worried about the real alleged russian association? they are so worried about russia meddling in the election, isn't this far more worthy of an investigation? i wouldn't hold your breath. they are not trying to impugn the character of the house intelligence committee devin nunes, democrats were outraged after the congressman announced that he had briefed the president on new information that he had received that proved the obama administration did in fact surveilled president-elect trump and his transition team. chairman nunes said it was his duty to inform the president. up in arms because democrats learned nunes met his source on the white house grounds. it sounds nefarious. not really. congressman nunez said he did it in order to be near a secure

location we could probably view the source. that is not good enough for liberal democratic snowflake lawmakers. many like nancy pelosi are calling for nunes to recuse himself like senator schumer calling for him to be replaced. this is nuts. >> if speaker ryan wants the house to have a credible investigation, he needs to replace chairman nunes. chairman nunes seems to be more of a partisan for the president than an impartial actor. he has not been cooperating like someone who is interested in getting to the unvarnished truth. >> sean: they don't care about the truth. neither does the media. congressman nunes, to his credit, is not backing down. >> are you going to stay as chairman? >> why would i not? you need to go ask them why these things are being said. >> can this investigation

continue with you as chairman? >> why would it not? >> they are saying it cannot run. >> you've got to go talk to them. it sounds like their problem. my colleagues are perfectly fine. they know we are doing an investigation and that will continue. >> sean: speaker ryan was asked if nunes should recuse himself. he said no. you better be ready for the democrats, they will pull out every dirty trick out of their hats. the real story the media will not tell you. you want corruption? look at the hillary clinton foundation, the clinton family foundation, the money that went to bill's pockets and she had to sign off 20% of america's uranium? going to putin and russia? i thought the media was concerned about this? here with reaction, newt gingrich. mr. speaker, we've got one donation, $31 million from this

ukrainian -- when you look at the money given over a period of time, millions were donated to the clinton foundation. bill gets twice his general speaking fee and hillary signed off on russia getting 20% of america's uranium. which is used to build nuclear weapons. your thoughts? >> it is very strange that both the house and senate intelligence committees are chaired by republicans and to get all the noise is about phony charges involving donald trump. you have real evidence as you pointed out, since then we have had all the wikileaks. an enormous amount of evidence. i do think it is legitimate for the american people to want to know about all this foreign money. where is it going? who is it going to? et cetera. a totally one-sided witch hunt

by the elite media spurred on by liberals inside the permanent bureaucracy, and then with the shrill partisanship of schumer and pelosi. neither of them to the best of my knowledge ever called for an investigation of bill clinton's money, and investigation of uranium one. an investigation of all the different feelings. i think the country deserves a really thorough exploration of the issue of foreign money gradually corrupting our system. but that ought to be an evenhanded serious look and it has to include really delving into the clintons and their network of millions and millions of dollars. i am frankly mystified why the republican leadership in both house and senate have been so timid and unwilling. >> sean: that is a great question. it seems to me -- that is a quick pro quote. signing off on letting russia have ownership with 20% of our

uranium? that is insanity to me. if donald trump did it, i guarantee you that what is now an eight month no evidence conspiracy, it would be watergate on steroids. let me ask you this. we now learn from james rosen and john solomon and sarah carter, all investigative journalists for decades that in fact there was surveillance at trump tower. and it went on in november, december, and january and it may have even happened before the election. time will tell. shouldn't that concern every american -- that there is surveillance and that probably the sitting president at the time, president obama and his closest aides knew exactly what was going on in trump tower and they didn't tell him? >> look, i think this whole process should concern everybody. the level of hostility to trump trump, the level of leaks which

are felonies, clearly illegal. the whole process by which president obama apparently -- we ought to look at the decision on those. who decided -- remember, these are not hard, serious facts. they changed the rules. so you could pick up the dumbest, weirdest gossip and now you can distribute it to all the different agencies knowing that making that available almost guarantees it will leak. this is all done in early january after they lost the election. there is a whole series of these kind of things where you have to believe that the deep state and the obama team were in collusion, doing things designed to undermine and weaken the person who the american people elected to be president. i think it is very troubling. i think it deserves very serious investigation. >> sean: let me ask you an important question about

health care. i think this was mishandled from the start. in other words, nobody in the congress got to see the bill. consensus was not billed ahead of time. rumors came out before the bill was released. people were vocal about it -- a public civil war emerges on tv because there is such disagreement. all right, what is the right thing for them to do now because this was a major promise. they had eight years to do this. to me, i think it was rolled out in the worst way imaginable. i am holding them accountable like i promised. how can they fix this? >> first of all, i just put on fox news.com, a fairly long outt wrong and what we should now do, drawing on the lessons of eisenhower, reagan, thatcher and what we did with a contract for america. i think first of all they should pick up immediately and work on

infrastructure because it will bring democrats into talk in a serious, practical way about working together. that opens the door, democrats talking about the tax bill. that sets the stage for a totally different health care. don't try to get it through -- >> sean: how did the get it without reconciliation? they're not going to get any democrats with that. >> if you are right and paul ryan is right and how bad obamacare is for rural america,o a better deal for north dakota, that is so vivid and so clear that senator up for reelection next year has no choice. he other votes for it or get beat next year. i am happy to wait if i have to until after we wipe out an entire wing of the democratic party to pass it in january or february of 2019. but a bad bill, i fight over the

>> sean: welcome back to "hannity." at last night i told you how "cbs news" veteran ted koppel said i was bad for america. airf what was like a 50 minute sitdown interview taped earlier this month. this was not the first time that cbs has been called out for editing interviews. back in september of 2012 after the benghazi attack in libya that killed four americans, cbs sat down with president obama the day after that attack but when they first aired the interview, they didn't get into any details about benghazi. fast forward about a month during a debate with met romney.

a terror attack from the very beginning, the president said he did. romney said he did not. it's cbs came the rescue and aired a previously un-aired clip from their interview with the president where he said this... >> it you are right that this is not a situation that was exactly the same with what happened in egypt. my suspicion is that there is involvement, looking to target americans from the start. >> sean: it appears to back up the president's claim that he called it terrorism from day one even though he really didn't. why didn't cbs include that in their original reporting? then a few weeks later, right before the 2012 election -- cbs quietly posted an extended clip of the benghazi conversation on their web site. watch this. >> mr. president, this morning you went out of your way to avoid the use of the word

terrorism in connection with the libya attack. do you believe that this was a terrorist attack? >> it it's too early to know exactly how this came about. what group was involved but obviously it was an attack on americans. and we are going to be working with the libyan government to make sure we bring these people to justice. one way or another. >> it has been described as a mob action but there are reports that they were very heavily armed with grenades. that doesn't sound like your normal demonstration. >> as i said, we are still investigating exactly what happened. i did not want to jump the gun on this. >> sean: why did cbs wait so long to put that out when it was part of a debate a month earlier? were they trying to cover for the president? this is why we continue to demand for cbs to release the rest of the interview with me and ted koppel. joining us now, big smile on her

face, laura ingraham. we have dealt with this our whole lives. in that particular case, they had the answer to a big question and a big debate. they would not air it. why? >> because it does not work with the cbs worldview. to play the entire oil at least a fairly edited representative tape of your interview hurts the worldview of the left which often times cbs amplifies and heirs, you do an aggressive show. you criticize republicans. you've held george bush accountable. you have talked about failures in communication, strategy and the current administration, the challenges they face and you are also a conservative. you're very candid that you are conservative.

the problem with cvs and so many other news organizations is that they will mask the fact that mog for the network, most but not all, or liberals. the way they choose stories, the way they produce stories. the way they choose not to cover certain stories. it is always going to be done through a more liberal perspective and a liberal lens. you don't make any bones about the fact that you are a conservative. to make those more nuanced points, that kind of blurs what cbs really wants to do here. they want to delegitimize you, ted koppel has been up to this old trick, delegitimizing fox. he's been doing that for years. by giving interviews about how bad journalism today is. for years and years. you're just the most recent victim of it. >> sean: it is just sad. the reason they're not going to release this, laura, after the first question -- i gave a

we are in the process of that technological resolution revol. she declared an end to the war on coal and fossil fuels. we have been blessed with a nation with natural gas. and the rest. that we use all forms of energy to generate electricity, so we can grow our manufacturing base, giving consumers the option with respect to fuel efficiency and choosing vehicles that are run on natural gas. a renewed focus. hydraulic fracking, making sure we take advantage of natural gas but also the last administration picked winners and losers. >> sean: how many millions of jobs will be created -- if we go with this all the above strategy, energy is the lifeblood of any economy. how many years would it take america to become fully energy independent and how many jobs

will be created if we keep clean coal and natural gas and drilling and maybe even nuclear and new technologies that emerge as well? >> when you think about it, the keystone pipeline. what is great about what the president did today is it is going to unleash an american spirit with respect to energy innovation in the transportation network, and for -- >> sean: can you guess how many jobs will be created? >> you can't because of the manufacturing base that will be reinvigorated. the coal miners that were at the epa meeting today, they heard the president speak and were very emotional. their industry has been under assault for many years. for the first time in a long time, there is optimism and hope, it will create jobs across all sectors of the economy because of what the president did today. >> sean: this is a big day. this may be probably the single
