notified russia before these strikes were carried out the syrians stated they were able to get most of their jets out of the way and there was limited damage done and a significant amount of damage, the airfield, syrian leaders are condemning this attack not surprisingly saying it undermines syria's ability in their counterterrorism operations, presenting this as, and extremist groups operating in syria not mentioning the fact that this was the airfield, where chemical weapons, and departed from and returns to. and they struck this airfield in connection to this chemical weapons attack a few days ago. the bigger question is what happens next?
