>> welcome to the special edition of "watters world" without jesse. marking president trumps 100th day and office. i am in for jesse. reforming tax codes come out this week. escalating a award against isis, that has never stopped. renegotiating trade deals on other countries is continuing and cracking down on illegal immigration and killer gangs along the mexican border. according to our own fox news poll, 62% 2% think he is keeping his america first promise, the most famous of which is building the big, beautiful wall. from that day he came down the tower escalators that we all watched. he has been laser focused on securing our border. >> i will build a great, great wall on our southern border and
5:02 pm
i will have mexico pay for that wall, mark my words. this should not have been much of a problem. after all, democrats agreed to secure our border and they said it was paramount getting funding to build a barrier. >> the bill before us will certainly do some good. it will authorize some badly needed funding and better security along our borders. >> secure our borders with personnel, physical barrier. >> but they never finish the job. twice they had the chance. now marine general john kelly is taking over. >> i think 100 companies from across the nation have shown interest and are starting to put together their prototypes. >> something funny happened when building the wall. allah takes an hypocrisy.
5:03 pm
>> he wanted me to negotiate the wall with president trumper and i said two things, first it's not a negotiation. no wall. no wall. second, i said only you can persuade him that he shouldn't do the wall because it will cause a government shutdown. we've always been for border security, we just thought the wall made no sense. >> no sense? they voted for before. the money was allocated but they never finish the job. it wasn't enough money. the problem this time is trumps vision and potential victory. they are panicked about possibly allowing this president to fulfill his promise. >> the president, talking about this wall, is expressing signs of weakness. he is saying i can't control our borders, i have to build a wall a wall. >> right. building a wall. we are so weak. how weak did the chinese look when they built that wall. with the israelis, where they cowering when they built the
5:04 pm
wall on the west bank? it stopped the suicide bombers almost the day it was completed. in. in order to avoid government shutdown, he paused the wall but said he's not backing down in the long-term. >> the law wall will get built. they are determined to stop him at every path, especially when the democrats smell weakness. they will try to break him. >> the democrats are threatening a government shutdown. it's the same old same old. i was hoping trump would throw this shutdown thing right back in their face. if they got away with it once, they are just going to keep using it. >> i think he's right, once again. if it was was all about america's security, the president would get his to billion, 2 million to start the wall, and then he would start building it. it's about taking him down andbu destroying his term and making it look like a broken promise when it's really poisoned politics.
5:05 pm
at some point general kelly and jeff sessions have to stick to their guns. joining me now is geraldo rivera. it's great to see you again. >> you too.-- coming >> i know this issue is very passionate for you. you've been to the wall, the barrier between the two countries multiple times. is this about politics. >> it is about politics. i think objectively, intellectually my 11-year-old said dad, don't countries have fences to divide one from the other, it's a logical thing, it's thing, it's a traditional thing, why not. here's the problem. the president has made it an usa against them kind of situation with mexico. we will build the wall whether you like it and not and you will
5:06 pm
pay for it. why have that kind of tone. now that he's elected, i could see how we could use it to harness the energy, the brexit energy, we have to protect ourselves against the scourge of undocumented workers and drugs on terror and unmonitored crossing.prhe the problem is, when you stick it to mexico, they may be dysfunctional, but it's also a prideful country, why not make it a negotiation. >> i think you bring up a good point. my point is more on senator schumer saying were not going to build the wall, pretending it'su not a real issue when you know what he's already spent with democrats focused on how much
5:07 pm
waste there is. this is about not giving donald trump something he was put into office to do, and that's what bothers me. i don't think he even believes what he saying. >> i don't disagree with you that they sense weakness in president trump. even mexico is saying he's a poker player who is bluffing with a pair of deuces in his hand.you you talk to mexico in a sober way, in a way where one sovereign speak to the other, just build it on american soil. >> but why not get mexicans permission. you have 11 million undocumented here who send remittances here and the idea is that we will tax those. that is international trade. why not make that part of a negotiation. why not have a tax on it. why not let mexico charge if they want to put people to visit. ted cruz proposed the mexican drug lord should fork over his billions for the wall and
5:08 pm
mexicans new plan to fight back, charge americans a cover charge to enter their country. when i heard that, i said to myself, what would jesse do. he would hit the streets. so i did. >> i'm filling in for jesse waters. what's the difference between us, he's got better eyebrows ant better hair and a little taller. besides that, were about to find out. mexico is really upset at ourtoy president because he wants them to pay for the wall and they want to charge admission for americans to go to mexico. how much would you pay to go to mexico. >> $1 million. >> zero. >> about $.10. >> twenty or 30 bucks 30 bucks. >> you would have problem paying admission. >> it's an occupational hazard.
5:09 pm
>> cover charge in new mexico for americans, i can't say that would be a high price tag for oo me. >> what am i going to do? do you have something good waiting on the other side? >> they got great soap operas. >> how much would you pay to go to mexico. >> i'm paying a good amount in two weeks because that's what i'm going to vacation. i'm hoping i can get back. >> we will offer legislation to charge americans only admission to get into mexico. what's your reaction. >> there's going to be some pushback, to force force the country to pay for something p they don't want come of that will be difficult. >> should they pay for the wall. >> absolutely. >> i don't think there should be a wall so i think if trump wants that he should have to pay for it. >> what about having it be a minor league baseball games with different sponsors buying the wall.
5:10 pm
should we do that. >> that will be a good idea. i don't necessarily agree if it's coming out of my pocket. there's enough coming out of my pocket already. >> it's exactly $14 billion. >> show me the money. >> all build it for nothing. >> see, you didn't even know anything. your never paid a cover charge. would you ever pay a cover charge to go into another country. >> i want to know where el chapo's billion fortune is. i think senator ted cruz, as he wanted to do, got a great pr stunt. that will get el chapo to pay for but there's not $14 billion. confiscating his ill-gotten gains, i'm all for. very

limiting the use of law enforcement, reducing the amount of overbooking and increasing customer compensation incentives up to $10,000. are more changes needed? more changes needed? joining us now is a woman with a background, the star of the foxbusiness channel, cheryl. >> i was a flight attendant. i've been through these situations in my lifetime, absolutely. >> have things changed since you were doing this? it seems that everyone seems angry. the passengers are angry and so are the flight crew. >> absolutely. 110%. that happened after 911. everyone is more stressed out, the airlines, the crew, the crew, everyone is worried and there's more security. what needs to change, i think is that there used to be more freedom and more compassion. you would kind of let things go back in my day.
5:16 pm
the rules were still bare. if you're on the tarmac and someone gets up, you are supposed to stop the plane, make them sit down. that is an faa rule. that's an faa regulation. the crew on delta was following the rule. the follow-up on how they handled it needs to be changed. the ceos of the airlines have to understand, you have to let your personnel make decisions on the fly as to how to be human again. they have lost that. crews are also nervous about being videotaped. if i say no when i tell a guy he can get up to go to the bathroom, yes i'm nervous but if he videotapes me and i let him, that's breaking an faa rules. they need need to train them that they don't always have to be by the book. in both both of these instances, what i think
5:17 pm
happened, if you feel like someone is a problem at the gate, they could be a threat to the crew or the a problem in tha air, you take them off before the plane leaves. once you make a determination, i think in both instances, that's what they did. the jury is out in whether or not these two people were threats to the crew or complaining but they're trying to protect themselves and protect the flight. >> south southwest used to say we will never overbook any flights.ea >> the ceos that i've been thinking about this for th a log time and it's the right thing to do. it's time to to put people above profits and that's what c they're doing. >> thank you. it's good to see you again. it didn't take long for the

5:22 pm
15 - 20%. we are the highest taxation in the world and we will bring taxes way down. we are working on the different numbers but it will be much lower than it is right now. it will be the biggest tax cut since reagan and probably bigger than dragon. >> that was president trump talking to jesse watters about bringing back 1986 when top gunw was top at the box office in mike tyson one his heavyweight title and ronald reagan was a tax euro. this week he made good on the promise and introduced his tax overhaul or at least a rough outline. here to explain what it means is the host of barney and company. they named the show and then they found him in england. stewart barney, welcome. you are on 9 - noon every day and killing it. >> thank you very much indeed. when the outline was rolled out. were you disappointed disappointed or pleased to. >> that was a terrific rollout. what the president plans is to

get right at america's middle class. they are the people who need this break most. they they wille juice the economy more than any other group. >> can you tell me where middle-class will benefit? we used to have seven brackets and now we have three. ten, 25 and 35. you doubled the standard deductions so that will be significant. it cuts the corporate tax rate from 35 - 15. they say the bottom number is key because that's where the rest of the world is. it repeals the real estate tax known as the death tax so you can keep the money in the fami family. a >> most important there is the 15% on small businesses. that is that is the top rate that a small business can have. >> when you look at a small business owner do you look at them as middle class. >> absolutely. there are probably 10 million subchapter s corporations in the
5:24 pm
united states. i don't have the exact number but it runs in the millions. those chapter s companies are very small companies, mom-and-pop's, restaurants, bars and they report as their personal income. if there top rate goes down to 15%, that, that means a great big tax cut because at the moment the maximum rate is 39%. they are getting a cut all the way down to 15%, geared to the middle class. good stuff. >> we will need a lot more detailed but the outline, on the surface looks like it will add to the deficit. >> it will in the immediate future, guaranteed. you've already got 400 billion-dollar deficitss baked into the cake because of president obama's' policies and this tax cut will add to that deficit, to the debt. long-term you will get growth and that will even things out - a lot of people looked at this and that i don't like it emma presumably mostly democrats, and
