the rest of the world. we can still do our part. why are the democrats pushing this so hard? >> well, well, democrats want big government. they want to control the economy. there is no better way to control the vast majority of the economy than through environmental. other 84% is controlled by global warming. paris accord has put our economy in charge of germany, france and other environmental groups, that's not a recipe for success. pete: president obama believes in redistribution of wealth. this is international redistribution of wealth away from america and towards other countries, right? >> that's absolutely true. india, for example, india expects that the u.s. taxpayers and other wealthy nation taxpayers are going to give them $2.5 trillion over the next decade to fight global warming. i mean, that's -- that's

brian: the investigation into the unmasking controversy finally moving forward and the more insightful stuff is yet to come. the house intelligence committee issuing subpoenas to the nation's top intel agencies demanding documents relating to three obama era officials. susan rice, john brennan and samantha power who are all suspected, perhaps, of making improper requests to unmask trump associates named. what happened next fox news judicial analyst judge andrew napolitano joins us now. >> we are getting closer and closer to addressing the problems that happened to donald trump when he was mr. donald trump. do you remember back just a few months ago when devon nunes suddenly ran from his office in the house of

representatives to the white house and we learned what that was about. some nsa agents had came to him with raw data. it was so hot he had to tell the white house about it immediately. so hot he decided he had to recuse himself from the russian investigation. a, he is back in the russian investigation, what do you think it was? evidence of unmasking for political purposes, the use of raw intelligence data for political purposes that is the most serious threat to personal liberty in america and to the stability of this country since the civil war. that somebody in the white house or the administration could take raw intelligence data about their political opponents and use it to the harm of those political opponents. it is the those who say i'm not afraid why the government spies on me. i have nothing to hide. should not happen, should not

unmasking for legitimate intelligence purposes, you have in your hands the transcript of a conversation between an american and a foreign spy. it will -- it doesn't make sense unless you know who the american is you can unmask the american for that purpose. it's perfectly lawful. unmasking for political purposes is hacking. and that's a felony that they ought to be prosecuted for and that's part of what bob mueller is looking at. brian: i'm just wondering. go ahead, pete. pete: maybe something they could ultimately prove? do you have a sense that there could be a there there? >> yes. because all unmasking leaves electronic fingerprints. somebody did it and -- pete: washington does well it's for this reason or that reason. >> that's a defense to the charge and it's a value judgment that bob mueller is going to make. a can i prove this? b, is it worth it? is it a legitimate use of our resources? brian: one way to get politics out of this. and if the evidence leads you

surfaced in the unmasking controversy. house investigation investigating tells fox news that they're devoting greater scrutiny to power because they have come to view her role in the unmasking much larger than previously known and her naming may have explained this exchange last week between congressman trey gowdy. >> do you recall any ambassador asking that names be unmasked? >> i don't -- i don't know. maybe it's ring ago vegas bell. but i'm not -- i could not answer with any confidence. >> our four subpoenas adam schiff. russian meddling. they include michael flynn, who is requesting immunity in exchange for his testimony and president trump's long time personal attorney michael cohen who has denied any wrongdoing or collusion with russia. no time known when this will all happen. certainly getting more inner treeing by the moment. guys?

blamed facebook, conspiracy site, blamed the dnc and she blames sexism. pete: blamed the "new york times." brian: listen to her for losing. >> he does have a visceral grasp of america's political underbelly. he really understands how to inflame people, how to motivate them, how to bond with them over whatever their grievance is, you know, whatever resentment or point of anger that you may have, if he can get into it, whether it's race or sex or xenophobe i can't or anti-islamophobeia, whatever it is, and so we're seeing it on a broader stage and it is deeply troubling for not only our politics but for our position in the world. pete: as you just said visceral of political under belly equals deplorable. brian: ran through everybody.

other americans didn't vote for her. i would say that's why she lost. and she is not over it but, joe biden a couple days ago said it she was not a strong candidate. he talked about the multiple reasons why she lost. and he is forming a super pac and he is going to run. he might be the run throwing her a brush back pitch that could be coming next. pete meet that could be coming next from a lot of people for sure. ainsley: in other news. pete: speaking of democrats. many continuing to lose their mind over the decision to come today at 3:00 in the rose garden. the president will announce whether or not the united states is staying in or getting out of the paris accord. the left, climate change is a religion for them. take a listen to what they have been saying it? >> will send to the rest of the world a message that the united states does not care about this planet that we all share. >> this is no longer oh he is doing his thing. this is endangering the world. >> if we stand alone to face

this global crisis, it's more than reckless. i mean, we are really endangering the planet, our american people and economy at really fragile stage. brian: people should know about 200 nations signed on to this and it's all voluntary. because we are the most industrialized nation in the world. we have. so highest emission rates. we are doing the greatest work with green energy and technology and incredible work with natural gas with fracking. we are heading in that direction anyway. pete: it makes economic sense. brian: you should know this. u.s. pledged to lower annual greenhouse gas emissions 26%. below the 2005 levels. if we don't, there is no sanction. this is what we put on ourselves. ainsley: if we stay in this agreement, we agree to give $75 billion to the rest of the world to fix the climate problem. president trump is saying why can do this. we can reduce the carbon emissions, if that's what we decide to do. if that's what the scientists decide to do.

we can spend a lot less, your money, your tax dollars to go back into your pocket and your family. greg gutfeld said something great last night. he said that is so much money $75 billion. think about what we can do. it takes a fraction of that to give education and basic healthcare, sanitation, clean drinking water to every person on earth. pete: a matter of priorities. you said 2025, brian. china doesn't have to do anything until 2030 on this. this is a blame america first effectively climate change agreement. ainsley: and everyone else -- brian: president trump was listening, heard both sides. general mattis wants him to stay in it. mark -- gary cohn wants him to stay in it. ivanka wants him to stay in it. he could do two things what he promised to do. get out of paris agreement and move the capital -- move our embassy to jerusalem. he could do both this week. ainsley: give him credit for waiting to get his ducks in a

row and get his act together. people are saying he is going to pull out. he said hold on, i need a few days and get the plan in order before i come out and tell what you have it is. pete: greg pruitt head of the e.p.a. is hoping he gets out of it malo how the climate agreement would effect the u.s. take a listen. >> the paris climbed accord is going to do nothing for the planet it barely reduces emissions. it only makes us poor. making us poorer actually makes the environment worse. democrats want big government. they want to control the economy. there is no better way to control the vast majority of the economy than through global warming regulation. healthcare, oklahoma obamacare controlled 16% of the economy. the other 84% is controlled by global warming. paris accord put our economy in charge of germany and france and the american environmental groups.

griffin did to sarah silverman calling for a military coup. so snoop dogg basically shooting the president in his video. i mean, we have seen the left just continuously go too far. i'm glad that people from both the left and the right finally stood up and said that this is wrong to kathy griffin. ainsley: ben, you are from the left what do you think. >> i wouldn't identify necessarily from the left. ainsley: what do you identify yourselyourself as? >> i'm a libertarian centrist in many ways. i think it's important to look at the first amendment and remember the first amendment protects speech and applies to speech that we might find abhorrent and disagree with that's why it exists. let's not forget john quincy adams defended the british after the boston massacre. our constitution is completely reliant on individuals to have rights and regardless if they break -- if they break the social norm, that is

technically okay and it's within their rights. ainsley: wow. something so graphic, ben, you are okay with this then? >> i don't particularly like it. i don't think it's particularly funny. i'm not sure if she was attempting to solicit laughter with the photo. the right has been railing against the left for the politically correct culture that they have been cultivating under the eight years of barack obama. we saw the rodeo clown being fired which i thought was ridiculous. ted nugent telling barack obama to suck on the barrel of his gun. these things are -- they exist on both sides. this is an opportunity for the right to say hey, you know what? we're going to stand up to political correctness. we don't agree with this behavior or photo but she has a right to do it. ainsley: lisa, trying to get to the unmasking and leaking. republicans in the house trying to get to the bottom of this. intel community, that includes john brennan, susan rice and samantha power u.n. ambassador under president obama.

they are all being subpoenaed to find out some facts. what are your thoughts. >> especially in regard to samantha power. she is diplomat, not dealing with intelligence matters. that is a big question there about what they are trying to get from her. look, you know, i think it's repeatedly forgotten there is this other side of the investigation. both with the illegal leaks and also the reported unmasking of trump official names. there has also been circa abuse from the obama administration with violating america's privacy rights and scouring these overseas foreign intercepts. we had that fisa court report not too long ago basically chastising the obama administration over fourth amendment issues. we know that the obama administration also changed the nsa's rules in how they could more easily and widely share and disseminate, you know, this intelligence information. so i think there are a lot of questions here. and i think good on congress to get to the bottom of this

woman joins us here to talk about in this morning. what was your reaction? >> it was typical hillary clinton. i was in michigan ground zero. hillary clinton never came to our state. when she finally recognized that she was losing michigan, her whole campaign was anti-trump. she never put forward a vision for michigan voters. donald trump came in. he talked about fair trade. he talked about jobs. he talked about the economy. he put forward a vision for the michigan voters and that's why he won. brian: wisconsin, too right? she spent more time in arizona than wisconsin. it isn't a matter of blue states turning red. >> yeah. we had a countdown clock in michigan for how many days hillary clinton had not come to our state. i think it got up to 54 days post convention. we were a fly over state. she took us for granted. and donald trump invested in the voters in michigan. ainsley: from a personal standpoint we asked her to come on our show a lot. every time we asked president trump to come on. we asked her to come on too. sometimes they would send other people and they never sent her. i thought that was a big mistake.

things that we campaigned on, we will see our voters turn their back on us in 2018. we have to repeal and replace obamacare. we have to get tax reform. they are very pleased with the president. he has enacted deregulation. he has restored america's standing as a leader in the world. but they need to see congress act and do the things that we campaigned on. brian: what does the republican base want the president to do about the paris agreement? >> i think they are going to want him to pull out. i think they want him to put america first. they want him to look -- i don't want to step on the president's toes but i'm all over the country. i have think they are looking at every deal and saying this is the president who is going to put america's interests first. that's what they are going to expect for him to do at the paris agreement. brian: how important is it to keep tom price's seat in georgia's six? >> we kept kansas, we kept montana. georgia is where they have put all of their money. we won in the primary. in fact, republican votes

these christians, they were on a bus headed into the desert to go to a monastery to pray which is already far more effort than most christians in america would ever make to simply go to church. they were pulled off the bus one by one, interrogated, asked to convert to islam. they refused, including the children, and they were murdered, 29 of them. and you compare that to us and who we go through in this country and how little it really takes for us to abandon our faith. you know, have you christians in this country who won't stand up for their faith. won't stand for the more difficult aspects of our faith for christian teaching because why? we are not faced with muslim militants, you know, tracking us down and shooting us and enslaving our children. we are feyed with, what, mean comments on facebook? arguments with our families at thanksgiving? and for many of us that's too much. that's too much to bear. you compare that to the christians of the middle east.

we should feel ashamed, i think. pete: matt you call it erratic occasion of christians across the middle east. we don't care. is it the distance? we can't relate? what is the key component we are watching literally the eradication of christians and doing almost nothing about it? >> that's a really good question. i'm not sure what it is. i would like to say it's the distance. that wouldn't be a good excuse. yeah, egypt is really far away from us. then again, manchester in the u.k. that's pretty far away from us, too. i think if something happened in let's say the sydney opera house was attacked in australia, i think that would be headline news and we would be talking about it for days. so i'm not sure that the distance, necessarily, explains it. i think it's something about the fact that they are christians and that they are dying for their faith. i think that makes the mainstream media and liberals uncomfortable because, as i said in the piece, you know,

it's a really compelling case for christianity that these people are willing to die for it. and christians in this country i think many of us are uncomfortable looking at that because it challenges us and we have to ask ourselves do we believe in our faith that much? are we that convicted in our faith that we would be willing to give up everything for it and i think many of us don't want to ask that question. brian: you could say in america and you are probably right, the leader of the catholics, roman catholics is the pope has a lot of power with christians. do you think he could be doing more? >> of course. i'm a catholic myself. he needs to be saying more. i know he speaks out about some of this stuff and did he speak out about this latest attack but, listen, i'm not saying that the pope needs to be like pope irvin second 1095 needs to be calling holy crusade into the holy land to kill the muslim invader. i'm not saying that but maybe some happy medium between that and what pope francis is doing when is basically nothing. at least displaying some real

the fbi has determined that an aid close to donald trump is a person of interest in the russia investigation. and then you go on to say the fbi doesn't even use that word, person of interest. >> right. they simply do not do that and anybody who knows the fbi knows that that term doesn't exist when it comes to a counterintelligence investigation. and this is an example of the false stories being planted by the russians because the russians encrypt their communications. so whenever these communications are picked up, that means by definition that the russians purposefully put them out, purposefully crafted the conversation, or staged the conversation with trump aids and russian officials. so -- and this is part of the disinformation campaign that the russians began with the

election and is now even more intense. and as part of that, the russians plant these false stories. they use cutouts, anonymous letters, they use journalists who are being paid by the russians. the story that jared kushner met with russians was first given to the washington post through anonymous letter almost certainly sent by the russians. and then the media is so out to get trump that they will run them without proper verification, as was the case with story you mentioned. and the most amazing thing is that the former cia director john brennon and former director of national intelligence james clapper had testified that these conversations that they saw between the russians and trump aids were troubling. well, guess what?

they're so gullible that they don't understand that of course they can read them because even a 14-year-old can get encryption software that the fbi can't penetrate. and just one more thing. what i'm saying is all verified and confirmed by a former fbi assistant director for international operations and his name is tom, and he happens to be a cnn senior law enforcement analyst. but he believes he cannot say this on the cnn air because it totally harpoons the whole narrative of cnn has been running that donald trump is part of the russian empire, even though he sent missiles into syria against russian interest. brian: right. but do you believe -- having said everything you said and the russians playing a role. from what you know, how angry is the fbi and do you believe

going to bat for comey to turn on this president? >> no. the fbi is very professional and, you know, they're always in the crosshairs from some side or another side being attacked one way or another. a lot of phony information out there. those are professionals. they're working every day to make us safe, and they're not going to be part of any political charade. brian: somebody has been telling comey's story for the last two weeks. >> yeah, people close to comey are obviously putting out stories. but the fbi agents themselves are just -- the reason we have not been attacked successfully from a foreign terrorist organization since 9/11 is the fbi. brian: yeah. they do a great job. thank you so much. ron, go pick up his book to get the inside story. thanks, ron. >> thank you. brian: coming up, it's not the tiger woods we're used to seeing on the golf course.

was bad and the dnc repeatedly reached out to the brooklyn campaign headquarters and said, look, let us come to brooklyn, show you more data. we can build this out. we can make improvements, and they were repeatedly told by brooklyn "thanks but no thanks. we've got this" so that shows the arrogance that the clinton campaign had. that was one of their real problems. and then i had democrats reaching out to me last night saying wait a second. the dnc was not the one that told her don't go to wisconsin or don't focus on michigan. don't focus on pennsylvania. and the other thing is you've got donald trump now tweeting about this last night. the president of the united states weighing in on her comments and calling her crooked hillary again saying crooked hillary clinton now blames everybody but herself, refuses to say she was a terrible candidate. hits facebook and even dnc. here's the other irony of course, folks. two things. one, it was the dnc that was basically doing hillary clinton bidding by pushing bernie sanders aside, protecting her from a lot of debates. now she's turning her fire on

them. and the other thing that democrats were telling me last night when comments broke. they were saying we were not the ones who told her to call donald trump supporters a bask of deplorables. that was her weak candidacy. >> which in this statement she reiterated as well. >> more mistakes. yeah, right. exactly. ainsley: and said that her server was a nothing burger. >> right. but -- ainsley: it did have to cost her some. it was a very close race. >> right. and her previous appearance she said i take responsibility. and then she blamed comey, russia, and here she is not taking responsibility and blaming fellow democrats of the dnc. ainsley: are you hearing she'll run a third time? >> basically democrats reaching out to me last night if she wants to, they're not going to be onboard. >> yeah. doesn't seem like it. thanks a lot. he's a four time whistling world champion, and he's a washington power player. and here to teach us his
