all the time, now even third-rate unfunny comedians. we see a trend because there is one. if the most powerful and richest people on the planet can be victims, who can't be a victim? the most remarkable thing about victimhood as it allows the alleged victims to commit to the very offenses there complaining about. they will crush a bible club at a school bill never even been to and then tell you that other people's beliefs oppressed them. they will take over a college campus forcing spineless administrators to enact every one of their demands and then claimed to be powerless victims of a climate of racism. the they will conduct a nation wide witch christian small businesses if they don't shut them down, they will throw illiterate refugees into cash-strapped public schools and call you a bigot for questioning it. of course, they will fly private

it tells a story of storm lake iowa where thousands of immigrants have been imported to work at a local meat packing plant. if they are brought in to keep wages low and avoid hiring local workers who might want to unionize. the approach succeeded. one worker in the study has been receiving the same 16 hour wage for 37 years and the union that used to exist is long gone. there are other casualties as well print the city's budget is strained by hiring translators for citizens who speak more than a dozen languages. schools are packed with kids who know very little english and the schools have not improved as a result. the hospital in town is besieged by people who have come in for medical care but never pay for it raising costs for everybody else and having taken over the meatpacking plants, the newcomers apparently are showing some muscle. the newspaper notes whenever a white workers hired to work at the plants, the workers complain they don't want white people around. under normal circumstances, the newspaper would be calling for a justice department investigation, this is a textbook civil rights violation.

but not this time. the times all but endorses the intimidation suggesting locals aren't willing to work at the plant. as telling ad status with the times piece does not include. complaints about crime and drugs entering the town but never says anything about the actual crime weight which is weird because it's easy to check that the stats we did check it. it turns out that storm lake's crime rate is well above the state average and more than double that of similar towns just a few miles away. the newspaper doesn't care, they have a narrative to push, the message is that other iowa towns should copy it storm lake by bringing in low wage labor or else they will die out. if left unasked by the times and everyone else in power in this country is why the small towns are dying out in the first place, how is that happening? nobody seems to have any curiosity about it. if there is one big winner in this story, the cheap labor
