are one of those targets. >> who were not on the list were the cops that killed him. so we have to be reminded that if they weren't there, everybody would have been killed. we should be acting as though that is the reality. when you look at this perpetrator, he flies in the face of the media, older white man with a gun. he should be a redneck in a red hat saying "make america great again." >> what do you make of this information? is important important to have extra security. but wow, .

>> i don't know if he is a member of the house freedom caucus. i don't know if he was a member. it obviously wasn't random. and this idea that it comes to the baseball field and asks if those are democrats or republicans. one thing about security for these members of congress is very interesting. only the leadership has 24-hour security. imagine trying to provide around-the-clock security. they have asked the federal commission for permission to use some of their campaign funds to supplement the security like at a town hall meeting or just out in the open. i don't think they have said no,

but it seems to me that if it would give the members of congress confidence to be able to go out and do their work, and they would have to make use of campaign funds to do that, i'm sure that other members of congress think that they are on a list out there somewhere. if you don't have a way of protecting yourself, i think it's reasonable. they go i think it's a good idea because it's better safe than sorry. >> it's important to make this accommodation for public officials. >> the interesting and difficult situation here is, take the white house. you can even drive down pennsylvania avenue. the american people are supposed

to be able to go in there and talk to elected officials. there needs to beat changes in terms of meeting space, and underground is where so many meetings take place between constituents. you have meetings between speaker ryan and nancy pelosi about adding investment in security of the capital police. they should be included at some of these town hall meetings. the question is how far do you go with security? because you want to be able to speak to your representatives. >> that's the exact argument that's being made big stomach. >> i think having a list makes

incredibly dangerous murderers. i'm bringing this up in the story to illustrate that guns save lives. those guys were on the run. they were on the run. they murdered two prison guards, a home owner with a gun prevented the deaths of others, the same way the police officers save those lives. so where there is a gun, people's lives are saved. >> i think we should honor that strategy tragedy that took place. i want make as a platform for guns. to me, is the professional with guns who act. >> legal gun owners are
