unfortunately, tonight i can say with full confidence -- sadly, there's no good option. that is tonight's chilling opening monologue. tonight, one of them my biggest fears has now come true.to north korea has reportedly developed a nuclear warhead that is capable of reaching the continental united states.he this threat will now become a n defining issue for the trumprump administration. it's so very important. we've got to learn and understand how we got here. if we don't learn from the lessons of history, we are lea doomed to repeat them. it was go back to 1994, the clinton administration struck a deal with kim jong un's father, kim jong il.into according to "the new york times," the u.s. agreed to give north korea over $4 billion in energy aid over" t the course of the decade inve n exchange for north korea e freezing and eventually ending their nuclear weapons program. as part of the agreement, uall north korea would allow inspectors into its nuclear sitp but this is very important -- would also be allowed to keep their nuclear fuel rods, which

make sure it keeps its commitment. only as it does so will north korea fully joined the community of nations. >> sean: good deal. freeze, dismantle. of course bill clinton was naive and it turned out to be completely wrong. why? in 1998, north korea testfired a long-range missile and by 2006, north korea conducted their first nuclear test and under the obama administration, the north korean threat increased rapidly and literally have turned this into a crisis point at the presiden( trump now has to deal with. in the case of the obama administration, remember they drastically cut our strategic defense capabilities. not a smart thing.ns basically, the clintone administration and obama administration ignored the problem. they kicked the can down the road.icke if all of that sounds familiar, it is. it's so similar to the deal that president obama struck with the radical mullahs in iran.
10:08 pm
president obama gave that rogue regime in tehran $150 billion in loads of cash. remember the plane loads of cash? and other currencies? the mullahs in iran said in the exchange for that money, they promised not to build nuclear weapons. tehran agreed to let inspectors into the nuclear facilities. after 25 days, iran was still allowed to have their centrifuges and conduct missile test. what we are seeing a north korea is so simple and easy to see where this iranian deal is headed. what you have to understand tonight is this. evil in our time must be recognized for what it is. you cannot appease and capitulate to evil radicals and rogue dictatorships. they don't care about honoring agreements because breaking promises, taking money, is part of the course when dealing with these kind of regimes. m5jm chamberlains hitler.
