and money from iran being used in and around israel. also in iraq and syria trying to get that bridge through syria to lebanon. allowing hezbollah to run between. it is a bad deal. if you pulled from it, fine. i have been very vocal. i think is bad for israel, the region. it gives them all -- it gave them all the cash that they're using and to gain influence in iraq and syria. and then long-term, -- and by the way, they using the ballistic missiles preparing to be able to deliver nuclear weapons went in the long term if they're able to get them when the restrictions go away from the deal. it is a bad deal. if they, fine. >> sandra: that being said, the overall strategy coming out of the white house. even "the wall street journal" details that his showing is key to north korea.

historically when dealing with north korea, there has been some heavy rhetoric. we'll see from the north korean side. this time where it is a administration, debbie given that rhetoric back. i do think in the end, cooler heads will prevail. the top intelligence officials in our country will tell you that north korea -- the leader is a rational actor. he may be pounding his chest, but you'll make the right decision. appeared not to reduce his own regime to ashes by doing something stupid by shooting a missile at the americans. and china understands that as well. you see that this time around publicly where they came to get the tensions, north korea. >> sandra: you are a busy guy. thank you for joining us this afternoon. rumors swirling that presidential advisor, steve bannon, maybe on his way out the door. this time for what he wrote were poorly told the president on how to respond to charlottesville. is there any truth to it?

government over the same issue. people like the attorney general and the mayor of chicago, they remind me of people like george wallace in the 1960s, who faulted government law for their agenda. when it comes to immigration, federal law is paramount. they cannot decide on their own what national immigration policy should be. moreover just on the practical nature, and forget the legality, what they are doing is to appease political correct supporters, we will not protect our citizens whether they are legal or native-born people, and we will say, if you are an illegal immigrant, and you commit a crime, we will not cooperate with the federal government and exporting you. we will defy the law to pursue our own narrow, politically correct agenda. >> sandra: the democratic attorney general and at san francisco also filed their own lawsuit last friday.

leading other cities and states to remove their own confederate monuments. doug mckelway joins us now from charlottesville. have things calm down at all there? >> yes, they have come down tremendously since saturday. that is for certain. it is a sign of the simmering tension that just lie underneath the surface. this morning, we saw another provocative incident. the young man in his early 20s came to emancipation park. he was carrying a confederate flag, and he was having it draped around his shoulder, an assault rifle. it is an open carry state. you can have a weapon on your person as long as it is visible. he had an assault rifle over his shoulder. he stood quietly at the base of the lead statue. giving him the international symbol of goodwill calling him a racist and shouting and shame, shame, shame. the police stepped between those protesters and the young men.
