long gas lines forming in north korea. too bad. he is likely referring to the sanctions passed by the u.n. security council with decreases, total oil imports in north korea by 31st. despite the unanimous condemnation by security council, and despite top sanctions and president trump promised a few weeks ago to rain down on pyongyang if they continued with these provocative actions. so far it's all done nothing. that prompted his national security advisor h.r. mcmaster to say on friday we've run out of options. we run out of time. we've are not afraid to keep kicking the can down. today this morning on "fox news sunday," h.r. mcmaster was asking what exactly did you mean when you said we had run out of road? here is how he responded. >> it depends how you see this threat continue to manifest itself in our judgment about how much time we have.
