majority leader mitch mcconnell failed to get enough votes in july, there is a new amendment to get rid of obama care once and for all. highlights of this plan. it replaces obama care subsidies with block grants to the states. instead of a one size fits all approach dictated by washington states will be able to choose how they want to spend the money and it ends both the crushing individual and employer mandates, the massive and unaffordable medicaid expansion will be pared back, insurers will have the flexibility to offer plans forbidden under obama care. health savings accounts will be expanded, same with health cooperatives and those are all republican ideas and principles. i kept saying during that debate where are the republican ideas we have talked about for 15 years? republicans do need to get this done before september 30. that's when the budget reconciliation process window closes or else then they'll need 60 votes to repeal and replace

obama care. after that it would be unlikely to happen. the senate majority leader mcconnell, republicans need to do everything within their power to get this passed. the clock is ticking. while the president waits on republicans to get their act together, his administration, they are moving ahead on a plan that would allow studies to be conducted on energy exploration in anwar -- the arctic national wildlife refuge in alaska. jobs are at stake. estimates put the number of untapped anwar oil reserves at between 4 and 12 billion barrels of oil. energy independence has been one of the president's major promises and allowing drilling in a region, we have shown pictures before, it is a vast wilderness. a huge step in america energy independence. congress will need to continue to move ahead on tax reform. the plan is simple. seven brackets to three. 15% corporate rate. to america american businesses
