i was shocked monday night football to see all of america's teams kneeling before the end but they kneels, across the field, arm in arm with the military. what do you think of what is going on right now? >> across the league i was disgusted with what i saw all weekend. dallas did it before the end them. that is a little better, but this display we saw over the weekend with the new york giants, the team i grew up with, 57 years i was a fan of the new york giants and i put in a letter, one of my sergeants over desert storm, use to talk about the giants and the other teams, it was a unifying thing to talk about football.

brutality and the issue of police and how african-americans are dealt with by police in this country, what does that have to do with the american flag and the national anthem? that's what people are confused about. where is that connection and why these players have no problem letting police officers protect them, secure them and use them as bodyguards and other things and protect them, probably hire off-duty cops to protect them in their personal lives too. they can do that but have a problem standing for the national anthem. >> exactly. it is about look at me iteration, hollywood, ballplayers, so special, all about look at me, that started last year with someone who wasn't doing too well and wanted to draw attention on himself and by doing so drying attention as a distraction from his own team.
