12:00 am
the show. sean hannity is next. have a great night it. >> sean: thanks, tucker this is a fox news alert. we're following several major, breaking news stories. you, the american people, are being victimized by a liberal, cultural hypocrisy penn stating every aspect of our lives. the left, the liberals, they like to claim they have moral monopoly and superiority on gay rights, women's rights. tonight, we'll expose the lie. as the harvey weinstein scandal is exposing, the left only cares about one thing -- money. laura ingram is here with reaction. brand-new audio just released. senator bob corker attacking the president to "the new york times." listen to this. >> the volatility is, you know, to anyone who has been around, it's -- sometimes i feel like
12:01 am
he's on a reality show. it's like he is just putting on an act. >> sean: we'll have more of that tape and steve bannon is here to react with strong words. two former nfl greats are here for a big debate after another controversial weekend on the nfl football field. the vice president of the united states, mike pence, he left the colts-49ers' game after players continued to disrespect the flag, the anthem, and of course, our military. also tonight, republican house majority whip steve scalise, remember, victim of that shooting, he will respond to the left's call for gun control after the vegas shooting. and tonight, we have two major announcements, big ones, you don't want to miss. but first, tonight's important breaking news opening monologue. this weekend more and more disturbing accusations disturbed about hollywood executive and major, major democratic donor
12:02 am
harvey weinstein. after mounting allegations of sexual harassment, weinstein was fired by his own company. that's good news. details of what weinstein is accused of doing are beyond shocking. what is even more disturbing is the fact that for 30 years this guy has been praised by the left, by liberals, by hollywood and democrats. let me explain. a website analyzed 1,400 accepted speeches. he ranked second. meryl streep called weinstein "god." and she's speaking out against weinstein in the face of the allegations. where is the widespread outrage? condemnation from hollywood? i thought they cared about women's rights. if this was a conservative in the same situation, hollywood liberals would be enraged. the media would be enraged.
12:03 am
however, since it's one of their own, it's mostly crickets. the silence is deafening. another example of how hollywood has ignored the scandal. all the late night comedians, jimmy kimmel, seth meyers, james cordon, they didn't mention it at all. "saturday night live," the show that ruthlessly mocks president trump, they never made air. lorne michaels said, "it's a new york thing." really? what michaels meant, it's a hypocrisy thing. and lisa bloom. any time a woman accuses a conservative of anything, she swoops in to represent them with a major press conference to attack conservatives. big surprise -- bloom was advising weinstein before resigning this weekend.
12:04 am
and bloom made the announcement via twitter. "i have resigned as an attorney and advisor for harvey weinstein. my understanding is that mr. weinstein and his board are movi moving toward an agreement." what does that mean? you would think that lisa bloom, women's rights expert, would never consider working for weinstein. her hypocrisy is astounding. democrats took piles of money from harvey weinstein. and only new after the allegations surface some -- just a few, not all of them -- are beginning to give it back or give it to charity. weinstein donated an estimated $44,000 to hillary clinton since 1999 weinstein contributed over $56,000 to the obama victory fund. the hollywood big shot gave $97,000 to the democratic
12:05 am
national committee and also wrote checks for over $76,000 for the democratic senatorial campaign committee. all told, weinstein contributed $2 million to democrats, and that's just since 2000. some democrats are giving some of the money back or donating it to other liberal causes. they think it cleans their hands. no across-the-board outrage or disgust. and we cannot forget that the two biggest beneficiaries of weinstein's contributions, barack obama and hillary clinton have yet to comment publicly. if it was a conservative, think they might have commented? this is what i was telling you about during the election. liberals claim to care the most about women's rights. if they did, hillary clinton and her family foundation would never have taken money from countries like saudi arabia,
12:06 am
qatar, the u.a.e. they treat women horribly, many of them kill gays and lesbians, they persecute christians and jews. they're full of it on every single issue that they lecture you that they're morally superior about over republicans. there's a coffee shop owner in seattle, washington. we have the videotape. a group of christian anti-abortion activists that get kicked out all because the owner couldn't tolerate their presence. watch this. >> there's nothing else you can say. >> so we're not welcome here? >> i don't want these people in this place. >> you are not willing to tolerate our presence. >> it's offensive. >> you are going to tolerate that? >> that would be your choice.
12:07 am
>> will you tolerate it? >> answer my [beep] question. no, you will sit right here and watch it. >> we don't want -- >> i don't have to [beep] tolerate this. >> then leave. all of you. tell your friends don't [beep] come here. >> i'm not going to be saved by anything. >> he's talking about anal sex with jesus christ just to offend people. have you heard anything about this story in the mainstream, left wing, destroy-trump media? probably not. you probably never saw the tape until now and probably never will. the left said they care about religious liberty. why do i believe if this was another religion, do i expect there would be widespread outrage, lawsuits, the media would be covering it 24/7/365.
12:08 am
in this case, they're christians. and then this example that the washington free beacon is reporting on. a dwrup of students trying to shut down an exam the berkeley because of the stress they're enduring and claiming racism. watch this. >> our emotional and mental and physical stress. we demand that you make -- [inaudible] >> are you trying to silence us right now? >> we can walk outside and continue the conversation. >> you are more than welcome to do that. >> i don't know why you feel -- i don't understand --
12:09 am
>> sean: we've reached a point of cultural insanity. the left claims they're for free speech. look what happens at the so-called home of freedom of speech. and we cannot forget that conservatives have been essentially blocked from speaking at u.c. berkeley. the left doesn't care about this country's history, its culture. just look at these videos from earlier today. all the columbus day protests. liberals, no problem supporting people defacing, vandalizing our history and statues. what about what other people think? what about tolerance? it's what we saw when leftists were tearing down confederate monuments. the one thing that the left does not seem to care about is the nfl, when they disrespect our flag, our country and the thousands and thousands of americans that fought and died for that flag.
12:10 am
vice president mike pence walked out of an nfl game following protests. after a handful of 49ers refused to honor the flag, pence and his wife, rightly, headed for the exits. "i left today's colts' game because @potus and i will not dignify any event that disrespects our soldiers, our flag and our national anthem." and president trump took to twitter, "i asked vice president pence to leave the stadium if any players kneeled, disrespected our country. i am proud of him and @secondlady karen." by the way, this is a country that gives an opportunity to make millions of dollars playing a game. nfl owners are beginning to start to realize that millions
12:11 am
are at stake here and the american people are fed up for what is now blatantly disrespectful behavior. dallas cowboys' owner jerry jones said yesterday that players that protect "the national anthem" will not play. and steven ross, miami dolphins' owner, "it's incumbent on players to stand and salute the flag of the united states." finally. it's about time these owners did something. as mark theissen pointed out, the game operational manual said that all players must be on the sidelines, face the flag it, hold their helmets and refrain from talking or face discipline. you cannot do this in the end zone. you can't twerk. you can't be offensive to the other team. you can't gloat. a lot of rules restricting freedom of speech.
12:12 am
you can't put 9/11 we'll never fore get on your cleats. the left, the liberal, mainstream media went to freakout mode. jameel hill, remember her, the one that tweeted that president trump was a white supremacist. she was suspended by espn after calling for fans to boycott advertisers of the dallas cowboys. it's interesting that she got suspended for that and not attacking the president of the united states. this country is divided culturally because the left is hypocritical and inconsistent. they only feign moral outrage when it suits their political agen agenda. they're only outraged over conservative scandals. they pretend to have the moral authority on issues like race, gay rights, and on and on.
12:13 am
the left has been lying about all of that for a long time. and this harvey weinstein scandal proves all of it. for the right price, the left and their silence can be bought. joining us now with more on this, author of a brand-new book, "billionaire at the barricades: populist revolution from reagan to trump." in bookstores now. host to be, the show following this show, laura ingraham. >> you will be throwing to me. >> sean: can you catch? >> better than you. >> sean: racist, sexist, homophob homophob homophobic. it's a lie and they get away with it. >> i had heard rumors about
12:14 am
weinstein back in 1999, friends in the modelling industry. they mentioned things about weinstein. i didn't know who he was, but it sounded gross. this is part of the reason why so many working class americans have tuned out to the so-called experts on the left in politics. they claim whether it's sandra fluke that comes along and said, there's a war on women out there, waged by republicans. no one takes them seriously. they don't take them seriously when michelle malkin or other conservative women are attacked on college campuses. >> sean: you've been shouted-down. >> whatever. we're used to it now. it's one thing if you are for women whatever they believe, but they're not. they're only for you if you ascribe to a certain view.
12:15 am
has michelle obama spoken out yet? >> sean: they took money from him, too. in the campaign, i could not believe there was no outrage over the millions and millions that she took from countries where men tell women how to dress, killing gays and lesbians. >> the left is about conglomerating more power in washington, keeping big, international institutions afloat, and depriving the deplorables of power to run their own lives. that's the whole point. they don't trust the voters. they don't trust the work-a-day americans to make decisions for their own lives. they think that washington should make those decisions. if you believe in the abortion agenda, reformulating the family, whatever their issue of the day is, if you stand with them, they will defend you until the end.
12:16 am
>> sean: i don't like being lied about. guess what. i love women. i'm not the characture that they paint. they have one playbook. it's every election. >> immigrants, trump is -- remember a year ago, i looked back at this -- a year ago they were saying that if trump got elected that the global economy would tank because he will be a protectionist and isolationist. that the u.s. markets would collapse. on election night, you had people on other cable channels saying sell, sell, sell. >> sean: i was reading your book, and this is fascinating to me. i've been a reagan conservative. >> yep. >> sean: tell me one part of trump's agenda that is not what reagan did to get the economy going? >> reagan saved harley davidson.
