>> sean: it will debut october . i go to pennsylvania, harrisburg. president trump will be my special guest for the hour. that full interview will air tomorrow night. thank you for being with us. brian. ♪ >> brian: hi, it's me again. this is "fox news tonight." let's get started. what a packed show we have and we have stories developing throughout the show including more shocking revelations about the alleged harassment sued by the hollywood mogul and big-time democratic owner, harvey weinstein. you're not going to believe where the story is going. if you say hillary clinton's name three times, she will pop up and promised to never go away. watch. hillary, hillary, hillary. >> i'm not going anywhere other than right into the middle of the debate about the future. >> brian: i only had to say at one time.
7:01 pm
our top story, dramatic turn with the national anthem controversy with the national football league. a major win for president trump. nfl commissioner roger wrote... it's led to speculation that they will propose a rule to require players to stand for the anthem. next week at owner's meeting, they should come up. it won versus not going to like that rule? marc lamont hill. >> the height of arrogance, or any white person, a group of black people being oppressed, all your protest does not mean what it think it means anymore. or to tell them you are not patriotic because you are somehow challenging white supremacy. they don't get to decide that. players get to decide that. it's not disrespectful to a flag anymore than it is to have a bus boycott.
7:02 pm
or to go on the bridge for voting rights acts. this not about the flag. >> brian: many bridges. only one flag and one american flag. jerry jones has already announced if any of his players take a need, or do anything on the sideline, they will be benched. jemele hill responded to the move saying, encouraging her followers -- can you imagine this? telling people to stay away from the cowboys. she was suspended for two weeks after's -- are you confused yet? we have a lot to debate tonight. so let's do that. horace cooper. and leo terrel. do you like where this story is going? >> we've got a problem with the story, brian. the ultimate issue is this was
7:03 pm
about racial injustice. guess what? that flag represents more than the military. it represents teachers, nurses, doctors and everything. roger goodell's statement is unenforceable. he has one objective, make big money for the owners. 70% of the nfl players are african-american. there is racial injustice in this country. i just find it amazing how the president has flipped us into being patriotic. one final point, african-americans serve in higher numbers in the military than their actual numbers for the population. tell me what is wrong with the kneeling? not turning your back, kneeling, brian. >> brian: i did not know that stat but it's an important stat. that's it important stat. however, i will tell you -- i did not need to hear any commentary to come in and do fox & friends paid when i saw colin kaepernick take a knee, my gut said you are disrespecting the flag. if you want to talk about racial

inequities, whatever your point of view is, just don't do it during the national anthem. i did not need to see a poll but i understand where you're coming from. not without merit. let's go and talk to horace about that. we can't have this continue to go on. the fans are ticked off and others are upset. do you agree roger goodell will get a hold of this when the owner speak this weekend? >> good for jerry jones. i am pleased to see that owners understand that offending our flag in this way should not be condoned. by the owner, by any legal or by any players. good for terry jones. as for this idea that it's okay to offend the american people, we get the right to also choose whether we are going to watch something that we don't like. leo talked about these boycotts come in the past during the civil rights era, where people
7:05 pm
were able to say i don't like what you are doing. i would participate. in overwhelming numbers, we are watching the american people we don't like what you are doing and we will not participate. that's as american as apple pie. >> brian: before you talk, i've got to read the rest of the letter. just in case our audience didn't. he said he's actually trying to be positive and says this -- we will include in our conversation elements that in season platforms will exist to promote core issues that they say matters most and promote positive change in our country. rather than split the country about disrespecting the flag, that's how i view it and you view it differently, they will work on the programs necessary to make the country better. you like that? >> i like that, brian but what makes this country unique and great?
7:06 pm
we allow dissent. this is peaceful dissent. i respectfully disagree with my colleague. we allow religious freedom were certain religious groups do not stand for the flag. they don't have to. what is so important, we are not disrespecting the flag. that flag gives you and i and everyone the right to disagree. there's no disrespect. no turning your back to the flag. it's kneeling. we kneel in church. what's the disrespect? tell me what's wrong? one other point, there is racial injustice in this country. that's a fact. >> brian: let me add this. condoleezza rice said this today. she's a huge sports fan and her dad was a football coach. she also grew up in the south in the '60s. you'd you guys know it was not easy. it's gone another way now. people have stopped listening to each other. you see the black power salute
7:07 pm
from the browns players. >> it's very disrespectful and by the way, when you are offending people, you don't get to define to the people that are being offended that they should not be. if you open up a restaurant in harlem and all of your wait staff or white hoods and people took of offense at it and you said no, this is my special way of entertaining my customers, all the rest of us would be rightly offended. and when i see what's happening when these players disrespect the flag, i don't want to hear the other talk that they want to tell us about. they should honor the greatest country that has given them an average of $2 million a player. >> do see what he just said? she censored different opinions. he just censored with people who have a different viewpoint -- he's telling the american public on the television program if you

offend me, you are not allowed to speak. you are not allowed to express. that's not what this country is built on. it allows people like me and you and everyone else -- >> i am tired of hearing these lectures from the politically correct. it is false that the police are mistreating black americans in this country. >> game over. game over. >> just racial status of the american people. >> brian: guys... >> what you don't get to do is disrespect the flag. >> brian: i think we can have you and leo debate, law enforcement equities made, whether they exist or not. inequities in our society even if we've made tremendous progress in than on the other side, is this the right time and for them to do it? that's like a family. we agree we are not a perfect family. let's keep it in-house. the worst scene i can remember
7:09 pm
as an american in a nonviolent display was at wembley stadium on the whole world is watching in england. where we stood for god save the queen and about half the players kneeled for our national anthem. it made me feel what an embarrassment we are to the world. i want you to hear what michael will bond just said. leo, i'm just going to backup your thought probably. pardon the interruption. he said this and i want to share his point of view. >> jerry jones -- understanding compromise, i need to be with my players. he got down and linked arms and all this stuff. he said i want to honor the anthem. it seems like that was where he was going. now it seems like he was as phony as a three dollar bill. the word that comes to mind, i don't care who doesn't like me using it, is "plantation," the players are here to serve me and they will do what i want no matter how much i pay them.
7:10 pm
they are not equal to me. >> brian: that seems to be how you feel, sadly. >> let me simply say this, i would not use the word plantation but he's put those african-american players on the dallas cowboys team in a very awkward position. he has made them decide. he's forced them to decide are they going to stand up due to racial injustice or collect their paycheck? he's put his players in an awkward situation. one last point, brian. do you know? sometimes free speech makes people accountable. that's what it is designed for. what we just heard and i cannot ignore it, an african-american man telling the american public there's no police misconduct in this country. >> there's no differential based on race. black americans as a function of their numbers are actually treated better by police officers than white americans. let's talk about the facts.
7:11 pm
>> brian: i'm going to give you some good news. something that's not -- michael jordan gave $7 million in charlotte to a low income neighborhood to build two separate hospitals for that area. countless, major successful athletes do things under the radar that you get no credit for. if you can do things in that area. if i could get a black and white player to go to some of the schools and talk about what it was like coming together as a team and getting to know each other's culture, some of the most color-blind places are the locker rooms. if they could bring that to the classroom and to different schools? do you think that would be a plus and don't you think we would be talking the same way but only in a positive direction, leo? >> i would agree with you 100% but we need to do covert activities like you just articulated with michael jordan. and i applaud lebron james. using his platform to talk about guess what?
7:12 pm
racial injustice. we need the overt activities and cavort. that you expressed with michael jordan. covert and overt. >> brian: don't you think it's important to know that lebron james has many white fans and whites kids that like him as much as black man's? >> absolutely. they want to end racial injustice. notwithstanding the comments made by my colleague. >> instead of talking about racial injustice, wired to be saying colin kaepernick and others like him say things like let's get more science majors, let's get more engineering majors and more math majors in communities of color? that's the way that progress occurs. sitting around pretending that you are a victim solely because of your race while people are being paid $2 million on average is not convincing to the american people. >> brian: leo and horus.

>> brian: thanks for staying up with us. we've got a big story and is just getting bigger by the minute. new explosive allegations being reported against hollywood mega-producer harvey weinstein. coming out -- new yorker magazine, a major article talking about several women going to record and on the record to discuss sexual harassment and in some cases, sexual assault by weinstein over the course of many years. a big question remains. why has liberal hollywood in many cases stayed silent for so long about weinstein? because he so powerful and can make or break careers? is that still the same situation? joining us now, antonio sabato jr.
7:18 pm
there are 20 different women with sexual harassment allegations, three of which said they were raped. some of these names are as bigots we would see on the big screen or in "people" magazine. how could someone get away with this for so long? >> power. and people not talking about it when they should have. i'm open to say it -- i've known harvey for many, many years. these women have been attacked. 1 out of 3 women in the world is getting sexually harassed every single day. in hollywood especially. i grew up watching movies back in the day, classic films. standing up for what is right. they would stand up and say this is wrong. they have to wait for this moment. for someone like george clooney to come out? i wish george clooney would keep coming out. and talk about these people. there's more than harvey weinstein out there, people attacking women and really getting -- they are deciding their future.
7:19 pm

7:20 pm
the next part and all that. hopefully this will change and we have to keep fighting for what is right. >> brian: the other thing that comes out, by the way, he's such a huge political donor. all over democratic causes. $56,000 here. big supporter of the obamas. their daughter melia interned for him. at the question is, who knew and when did they know? is it possible not to know? i want you to hear seth mcfarlane and the comment he made and what it did mean then, it was a laugh line. people on the outside didn't know what it meant. now it means a lot. listen. >> congratulations, you five ladies no longer have to pretend to be attracted to harvey weinstein. [laughter] >> brian: funny? do you hear the news and all is? >> not funny at all. i hope matt damon comes out and talks about the situation.
7:21 pm
and does what is right. >> brian: you are talking about an article about he was asked to make a call to vouch for somebody's integrity because they were about to plant the story and come forward with the story about harvey weinstein and some unwanted advances and he was asked to call and vouch for someone's integrity and the story disappeared. he said it was unrelated. >> this is not about harvey weinstein, just him. i want to help everyone who's being sexually harassed, and he went on the left or right to come out and talk about this. people are being affected by people like harvey weinstein. it's happening too often. i just hope the people can come out and talk about it. matt damon. and talk about the truth. like you mentioned earlier, the liberals and donors and people donating to campaigns and stuff like that, that is how it works. it's not fair. they do things under the table. they pushed policy to all the american people that do not work.
7:22 pm
like in my county. we could go on and on for policies that do not work. i want to fight for what is right and i'm certainly not perfect but i learned from my mistakes and i get better as i get older. i will get wiser and wiser as we keep going. >> brian: you feel as though you are blackballed because your political point of view coming of all the talent and certainly the looks, besides james -- you are better looking than me. the both of you are. you've got a lot going for you. better dimples. a couple of names popped up. i look at angelina jolie, gwyneth paltrow, rosanna arquette, we can call their own shots. very successful women. why would they be kept silent until now, knowing they decide any movie they want to be in and a salary for whatever they want, why would they be quiet up until now? >> it so hard to get to that point and i understand. they want to keep the little bubble of movies, being on top of the food chain. they want to be up there. they don't want to have the rest

7:29 pm
is right on what he sent today. previous administrations in both parties trying to pay off the regime and tried all kinds of different things and north korea basically kept deeming, closer and closer to getting these nuclear weapons. why they believe inside the white house behind me that we are not inching closer to world war iii is that they know that when you look at the president's speech before the u.n. general assembly, you can get a lot of criticism from the rhetoric and talking about rocket man, kim jong un. giving him that moniker. they believe inside the white house that talking tough with kim jong un is all he response to, number one. number two, the president actually is backing it up with diplomacy because if you look at what happened at the u.n. before this speech, the u.s. worked with china and russia to get the toughest u.n. sanctions ever against the north korean regime.
7:30 pm
they are not really working just yet because north korea is still making all kinds of noise, brian. the fact of the matter is, everyone in the world knows that china is the key to all of this. they haven't ratcheted up even more sanctions to really inflict economic pain on north korea but the white house believes that the president took an important first step by getting china and russia on board with those initial sanctions. the toughest we've ever seen. >> brian: we will find out more about that when the president goes to china. in a couple weeks in november. and we know the secretary of state had lunch with the president today. hopefully they will be able to make ends meet. i want to talk about iran real quick. where is the president at? >> he certainly leading towards decertified the iran nuclear deal. he wants to follow through on that promise. the big thing is what comes next. there doesn't seem to be much advertised on capitol hill.
