and i see a democratic presidency. heather: so ron, i will talk to you about this, do you think people will blame republicans for not working with president trump, though, to get some of the things established that jessica just layed out for us? >> yeah, i think if there's no health care law, no tax reform, not one dollar for the wallet, no new infrastructure built in the country they will go after republican incumbents and democrat incumbents, people are frustrated that neither side can work together to get anything done for the american people and certainly they'll give bannon some power, if washington continues to fail, but i think it's not just bannon's people or trump's base, a lot of the american people who are just very upset that washington is uni want -- inep, the and can't

get anything done. >> totally. democrats at the moment are still split, left-wing that's pulling centrist in medicare for all taking harris and a number with them and we have the centrist moderate block that speaks more to the nation specially in light of the results over the eight years where we lost a thousand seats in total and the big one. so we have our issues over here as well, but, yes, dejavu and i hope we don't dejavu on this side. heather: 2018 map favors republicans. >> a lot of people wish he was talking on offense there. what you should be focusing on is putting people who can win and people who will represent

values into the primaries to take on these democrat senators. we have to -- the only way you're going break a filibuster is by electing those ten -- flipping those ten seats and unless that becomes the focus and unless that's what happens, republicans are still going to be stuck on not being able to pass agenda unless they get bipartisan help from democrats, jessica is totally right, the progressive wing of the party has made it totally impossible to work with the president and, listen, i think there are a lot of things like infrastructure, a perfect example. why can't we get infrastructure deal done, because hard left has made working with trump impossible. >> the president should have led with infrastructure, i completely agree. heather: everybody says that. will matter a lot for the election to come and also we need to think about donald trump's popularity. i think know it's something that steve bannon likes to ignore, but the president even in a lot
