10:01 pm
where the white house is on repealing and replacing obamacare. we absolutely want to. if we can reveal parts of obamacare is part of a tax bill tax bill that is still a good taxable that can pass that is great. if you become an impediment to getting the best taxable weekend that were okay with taking it out. for more on this in a moment. gop lawmakers are voicing their opinion about the controversy surrounding roy moore with the clock ticking for the upcoming special election in alabama. the senate candidate is facing several activations of sexual misconduct. the incidences allegedly happened decades ago. some of the girls would have been under age at the time. moore has denied all the claims for the situation is not sitting well some of his potential colleagues. >> if he comes to the senate because the people of alabama elect him and someone files a plate with the senate ethics committee as they purely have done with al franken and it will be up to the ethics committee to weigh the evidence.
10:02 pm
the allegations are stronger than the denial and roy moore should find something else to do which is my way of suggesting that he should not be in the race. rick: peter is in alabama. do they think they've lost their lead for good or can they come back smart. >> no, they don't. i just talked on the phone to a more campaign advisor who explained their internal polls like this. today roy moore tried to use his twitter account to cast doubt on the authenticity of the yearbook signature that one of his accuser says backs up her claim that he was sexually inappropriate decades ago. the more advisor spoke to tonight denied all allegations on behalf of the republican candidate. however it is still not been enough for the young republican federation of alabama passed a

his time of been twice removed from office. >> i know doug jones is a decent man but i just like the supreme court justices that more is more likely to vote for and so forth and it's a quandary. >> the more advisor i spoke to tonight's is a campaign is hoping that president comes down to alabama at some point to campaign on the judge's behalf but the campaign knows they have to do a little more to make the president comfortable that there is nothing to these allegations of sexual misconduct from multiple women here in alabama the date back several decades. remember there is still no comment from president trump since the story broke, the. story about roy moore we don't have indication tonight whether or not the president still supports more in this race.
10:05 pm
rick: more on that coming up. thank you very much. let's go back to the white house. garrett joins us. what is the initiation trying to do to win over those senators who have concerns with the tax when we talked about earlier? >> the white house has essentially told to make whatever deal in order to get tax form pass. the only nonnegotiable the president has are that the corporate tax rate is lower to 20% and the lower class gets the tax cut in the tax code is fight. two criticisms of the current senate bill are that it adds over $1 trillion to the deficit probably cuts the corporate tax rate while the individual tax rate will have to be renewed by congress in the next ten years. treasury secretary said that difference was done to budgetary requirements and that ultimately tax form will address the deficit.
10:06 pm
>> if you want to fix the business tax system and go from a worldwide system to a territorial system you can switch back in ten years. this is all about the bird role in how we calculate this. this isn't about the deficit because we think this is all about creating growth and will create economic growth to pay down the deficit. >> the white house and congressional leaders have their work cut out for them. republicans can only afford to lose two votes in order for us to pass the senate and already five gop senators have said they have concerns with the bill along with ron johnson who says he will vote against it changes are made. those senators along with others will receive a lot of pressure from outside groups over the next week to vote against the bill. rick. rick: the president still frustrated tonight about the lack of credit he is getting for running the release of those ucla possible players. reporter: yes, so much so that today he tweeted that maybe i should have left them in jail in china. this evening, this last hour he tweeted again.
