you. >> cuomo did a nice job trying to handle this gentleman on tv, a guy that did not want to listen and wanted to talk nonsense for about ten minutes and had a lot of time up there. he didn't have much to say to defend himself, just tried to get around it anyway he could, such a frustrating interview to hear and listen to but you imagine having to talk to this guy and it was so nonsensical. jillian: at one point, he asked if the president invited you to the white house would you think them? he said i would thank them for inviting me to the white house. rob: he knows he is ryan trying to defend it anyway he can. at the end of the day if the kid was looking at time in prison, china is a communist nation, not the same rules, it is not as liberal a lot of things they do especially with crime so his son could have lost his chance at a fastball career, the president stepped in and did something

feel, quote, triggered. rob: the college made it known they would like officers not to use their main restrooms on campus but instead to use a very run down facility on the outskirts of campus. jillian: here to react his former nypd lieutenant, thanks for joining us this morning. what was your initial reaction when you read this article that the students are the ones who don't want police on campus? >> the same discussed, i am a college professor at pace university and first thing i thought of why didn't faculty step in and move this to the side? something faculty could have done that doesn't appear to be the case here. rob: this generation, this does not speak to every student at brooklyn college, a lot of great kids there but what is going through the minds of people thank they want nothing to do

with police officers? can people not understand what this country would look like if we didn't have police officers on the streets? some of these neighborhoods would erupt in violence. >> think of the movie the purge, a social travesty. this should be a symbiotic relationship between police and community, joined together, they have a harmonious environment and police support citizens and students and vice versa with students supporting police. we need to conjoin and maintain a consistent relationship and this is fracturing that relationship. far greater percentage of students do support police but this is a minute component. jillian: we are talking about it on national tv. we have a quote from an unidentified student that says we do not want the nypd on campus in any respect even if it is just to take breaks and use the bathroom. every background across every --

they don't feel comfortable around cops. it makes safe spaces feel not so safe, your first instinct is to be scared. the student body president in his article blames this whole thing on nypd operation that sent an undercover cop into the campus to infiltrate the community in search of islamic terrorists. is that something that is done? that students should be afraid of? >> if something like that happened it was an isolated incident and we have to focus if there was criminality in place, the target was not campus. not saying that was the case the incident did occur but based on that background police charging those issues specifically and move out. generally it goes back to these students being protected by police and police generally want to generally want to do the right thing and this is more of an aberration from the student

think today they are perfect people. at the end of the day we have a strong tradition, we should be proud of who we are and are background and not be so sensitive that everything that comes out of our mouths, white or black usual racist issue, you want to do racism, 83% of black females work today because of democratic policies, 77% of black men leading their families to democratic policies. 75% of black boys in california cannot read or write, talk about racism, 1800 babies killed every single day based on percentage of abortion in our communities. a lot of issues to talk about and lasting we need to be wasting our time with is the name of a football team most people -- let's just enjoy the game and get into what counts. forget this pc stuff, it is wasting our time and energy. jillian: is this a slap in the face to some people in this
