minute longer to get to new york city and chicago if they fire a missile, that is how long it takes to get here, a nuclear warhead. and@the administration will try to shoot that thing down but that gives you the reality of the situation. would you trust our system to take care of that threat if they fired first? >> great question, the obama administration cut the missile defense program, the ground-based defense system, cut the missile defense program in half, the first couple years in office. it cut the number, the obama administration cut the number of interceptors and when they realize north korea was increasing the tempo of its missile test tried to get those interceptors deployed again but we are behind, the system is good, not as good as it could be and that is a large part due to the lack of attention from the previous administration.

candid based on what he did. at the same time, the mastermind is still out there, the intelligence community knows exactly who that person is. when you have an enemy combatant, that is what gitmo was built for, take somebody off the battlefield, taken to a dc courtroom, bring him to guantánamo bay and go through the military tribunal process. jillian: what do we learn going forward not to do this again? >> that is why we did so many hearings and worked so hard at it, the core question is when we have americans under attack on sovereign you was territory the military has to get there and extract those people. the obama administration not a single military assets outside libya was called into benghazi and that scares me. if we don't learn that lesson

mccain there because based on the past he voted against the bush tax cuts. i think he likes taxes high and military spending high. i don't know if you will get him but you can get the other ones but they will start to votearama where they can offer amendments. they can do that for a day or two and that is coming up. jillian: what changes will we see? >> there are things that could blow this up, some tough amendments. democrats will offer a lot of amendments that won't be germane and blame republicans, you won't consider this yet senate rules won't allow it to continue. they could solve this with one vote by bringing up the house bill but that would be too easy and republicans want to make taxes complicated. rob: they want to bring business back to america, corporations back to america
