2:00 pm
>> neil: you are the best. thank you very much. chet burger. we have a details for that in half an hour kema the fall of -- the cost of freedom. we will see you again. >> hello, everybody. i'm jesse watters along with kimberly guilfoyle, juan williams, dana perino, and greg gutfeld. it's 5:00 in new york city and this is "the five." president trump has had some strong words lately for the fbi suggesting it's in tatters. he renewed some of his stinging criticism today ahead of his speech in the bureau's national training center. >> it's a shame what happened with the fbi, but we are going to be billed the fbi. it will be bigger and better than ever. it's really sad when you look at those documents and how they've done that is really, really disgraceful. you have a lot of very angry people that are seeing it.
2:01 pm
it's a very sad thing to watch i will tell you that. when you look at what's gone on with the fbi and the justice department, people are very, very angry. >> jesse: the president referring to allegations that two agents were anti-trump. also, elevations that the fbi watered down its findings in its investigation of hillary clinton. here's more from the president on that and the ongoing russia probe. >> they are spending millions and millions of dollars! there is absolutely no collusion! i didn't make a phone call to russia! i didn't have anything to do with russia! that is a democrat hoax. it should've never been this way where they spend all these millions of dollars! even the democrats admit there is no collusion! they've found tremendous things on the other side! when you look at the hillary clinton investigation, it was -- you know, i've been saying it for a long time.
2:02 pm
that was a rig system, folks! it was rigged! there is never been anything like this in this country that we've ever been found before! it's very, very sad. >> jesse: greg, president really fired up here. channeling the anger how people feels about the fbi's mistreatment of himself and the good treatment of hillary. >> greg: when you listen to him, you realize he has not changed. this is the same person -- he doesn't talk like a president. he does hands, everything. i was watching the media spin as if slamming the top of the fbi and praising officers is incompatible, that it's not possible to have terrible different opinions about an entity that you can be upset about the alleged bias in a bureaucracy and wonder what's going on and still support the forces that are graduating and all those people working hard. you can love the players but disagreeing with the coach free to use kimberly's frame, i love
2:03 pm
england but i hate the royal people. >> jesse: kimberly, he also mentioned, i don't think we use this in the sound bite. when the democrats come out of these hearings and meetings in the house in the senate about the russian investigation, even his worst enemies, he said, the democrats, can't point to any collusion. i haven't heard any yet. >> kimberly: that's the thing. he has great points to make, honestly, on the side on the fact they were really so persistent, you know? they persisted to try to demonize him, to say there was collusion, that this was in an election that was not totally influenced by the russians, direct influence on his part of the campaign. but none of that materialize. when you're actually finding out what happened, you see they try raised as hard as they could to influence the investigation with specific, intended purpose to undermine his candidacy and ultimately his presidency, it was the higher duty calling. didn't come up with anything for that. they in fact went out of their

way to sweep under the rug and edit, edit, edit, delete, anything related to hillary clinton. it doesn't get any more straightforward than that. >> jesse: it does. i was happy to catch the end and after how they treated us and they seized on the fact that he was disparagingly fbi's mind-set and he had a conversation with putin because putin congratulated him on the stock market rise. you can pick out different pieces of what the president said and spend it. >> dana: yes. if you think about it, the first six months as its investigation, democrats every day couldn't find a nugget that could absently help them make their case and prove their point. and republicans are sort of, i don't know, we'll have to wait and see. now it's the way other way around it all the bit of information seems to confirm what the republicans think. for me, i'm waiting until all the facts are out and let the mueller report be what it is, whatever it is. i do think it was interesting that one of the things, a week or two ago, we were talking
2:05 pm
about these possible subpoenas, financial records requested by deutsche bank, more informants n comes out that they have to do with financial records dealing with michael flynn. we know that from the plea agreement that there was a lot more there that mueller could've indicted him on but they decided not to because he is a cooperating witness. >> jesse: interesting. i guess we'll wait and see how that develops. juan, i want to go to greg's point. the president eventually eventt over to the fbi headquarters and said some things for the people who work there. >> it's an honor to stand here today with the incredible men and women of law enforcement. i want you to know that with me as your president, america's police will have a true friend and loyal champion in the white house, so many people in the fbi, these are great, great people.

[laughter] >> jesse: should we give it to him? one: give what to him >> juan: everyone goes after colin kaepernick. what donald trump did today did more damage to law enforcement in this country and the integrity and respect we have for law enforcement than anything! >> kimberly: how? >> juan: are you kidding like to make a couple of days ago, he said "fbi, worst in history, in tatters," after he says "we are going to fix it." wait, you just asked me! what did he say, what did he do quite like this is disrespect for law enforcement, no evidence that anybody has behaved in an

"how can he say this about the fbi" -- he can say that and still support the guys there.
2:08 pm
>> juan: hold on a second. wasn't peter strachan a -- he's highly regarded, given senior responsibility. >> greg: not anymore. >> juan: you have president trump sing because peter struck doesn't like me and communicating with his friend that he doesn't like me, this means this whole investigation -- >> greg: did from fire him? >> juan: no. >> greg: who did? >> jesse: it wasn't bad mouthing him, protecting the president and taking an insurance policy in case he -- >> kimberly: jesse -- >> juan: today, goes out and there in front of the white house and says, he didn't make a call to russia. there is no collusion. he doesn't talk about what's going on with michael flynn. doesn't talk about what's going on with carter page. doesn't talk about paul manafort. and yet, but we read in the news today, is that his son-in-law foster his legal team is now contacting crisis managers in anticipation that there is more bad news to come shortly.
2:09 pm
>> greg: you anticipate it. i think the problem is liberals have a real problem admitting the fact they screwed up badly with the hillary nomination and you've got to let that go. we get it. you hoisted hillary on america and it didn't work. you have to accept that he won. that's all this is. a refusal to accept an election. >> jesse: aren't you allowed to criticize the investigation for the '90s, the white house, bill clinton criticized special counsel starr when he did an investigation like mike that's politics. >> kimberly: that's politics. >> dana: i don't suggest we get anybody private text messages, but we did know based on reporting back in the summer of 2016 that many fbi agents were mad at james comey. remember, we kept hearing that. we had sources telling them that, possible there were agents texting each other, how ridiculous it was that hillary clinton was not going to have to go to jail for what she

did. if that was the case, would we all agree that the fbi was corrupt and in tatters? i think it was inappropriate for anyone to do it, especially on a government phone. keep your personal opinions to yourself if you are a civil servant. >> jesse: that's great advice. >> greg: what ever happened to love notes? >> kimberly: i'm giving you none today. so silencio. i listen to the president, we all heard what he had the savior i think he has the utmost respect for the men and women who serve in the fbi, as do i. great personal sacrifice for not much pay, gives the best and brightest, but believe me. the people who work there were not happy with what happened. they don't like that. they aren't happy that this guy went in and abused his office and didn't take it seriously and was exchanging this information on government phone and trying to undermine is the job that

2:12 pm
was getting a ridiculous cut where she could sell these stories to the tabloids. does this undermine the great ability in some of these field accusers, we've heard a lot about that recently. >> dana: lisa bloom tries to explain all of this as to why she was helping the women because they might have to get security, they might lose their job, be in bad financial positions. if you have a problem that you want to bring to either your boss or to the media, i would not use lisa bloom as representation. i think that she is past her sell by date. >> juan: it's not what you say. it's therefore evidence that somehow these women are not to be believed or they were out there making up stories. >> jesse: i didn't say it. >> juan: you asked the question. what it is his people oftentimes will try to monetize these kinds of scandals. even our president had a relationship with "the "national enquirer"."
