jillian: joining us is peter morici. a lot of people are still confused as to how this is going to benefit them. we do know according to the tax policy center 80% of people are going to be getting a tax cut them 80% of taxpayers. in your opinion how is this going to help the middle class? >> it will be more than 80% in my estimation but the bottom line is most americans will see more money in their paycheck as early as february. as soon as they rework the withholding schedule they will have more money in their paycheck. they have been told this is a tax cut for the rich. they are going to get a tax cut and see it tangibly and the first thing they will do is call of chuck schumer and say where is my tax increase? where is it? rob: this is a tale of two

something, the left are calling out this number that says 83% of tax cuts going to the top 1% or the richest of the rich. give me your perspective. >> rich folks pay a lot of taxes now. after past they will pay 30% of income in taxes, federal taxes on top of that, another 5% or 10%, 3%, 5%, if you pay more taxes you're going to get a bigger cut. the point is proportionally they have big cuts. rob: appreciate your insight. eight out of ten get a tax cut. more than that, we appreciate that.
