jillian: welcome back. donald trump is starting 2018 putting pakistan on notice calling them out for their, quote, lies and dc while accepting tens of billions of us dollars. rob: calling for change in iran where he is offering support for protesters fighting for basic human rights. two big issues, here to discuss his national security analyst ryan morrow. we will start with pakistan. we have spent billions of dollars to a country that a lot of americans think hate us and the country that may have been harboring possibly amerigas worst enemy, usama bin laden, and to we found him in 2011. tell us about this decision with all this money. >> we should not tolerate killing and maiming of american soldiers which is what pakistan does through their intelligence service and terrorist groups

physical barrier that somehow indicates we are not a welcoming society. there is a symbolism that exists. the aspect of how do you execute this wall given the terrain, thousands of miles it has to go, the cost associated with, democrats and republicans across the southern border have expressed concern but i agree with brad, we need to get past the issue of being divided, we need to find a compromise on this, democrats in the past have expressed willingness to increase border security, increase funding for border security and there is a way to enhance the existing infrastructure down there as a starting point, donald trump will back away from wanting to do the wall, democrats are not going to back away from trying to protect the dreamers, but there has got to be a middle
