school. this is a hard one to forecast as we go through the next 12 to 24 hours because it comes so close to the coastline. that is why folks all along the east coast need to monitor the progress of the storm, listen to local officials. here is the future radar snow along the coast towards the mid-atlantic. how much will be get in the big city? a sense of nowcasting and watch to see how close this low tracks inland. i think it will be a close call for places like long island, coastal new jersey towards connecticut, you could see 6 to 12 inches, new york city on the cusp between the warmer air and colder air, it would not be out of the question to see this storm overachieve from the forecast totals. i will give you the latest.
