they bring more attention than they are ineffective. there is a first amendment in this country. they have the right to publish and then be sued. it's obvious there are plenty of problems with the book as seen through the eyes of the trump administration. but they, trying to stop it ahead of time does nothing other than drive sales. the attorney they have hired as a formidable attorney. he crushed gawker.com on behalf of hulk hogan. that's real. but why draw even more attentio attention? it's come a look at this fire. it's the kind of thing you don't want to do. all it's done is accelerate the publication. >> dana: when you are dealing with a book p.r. situation if it's negative, there's two ways to deal with it. try to ignore it and start a bit of attention or try to

unfettered access. early on in the administration, probably not a very good idea. ill-advised because you're not going to let somebody be exposed to the shop before state opens. like restaurants, there could be a lot of things going on. wait until it's baked in a bit. you let him in and he's like, he's listening. paying attention to everything, quite conversational. he's talking to everyone. what you think he may hear or not here, he's picking up with anything. he saw the sean spicer stuff. he's listening and absorbing the environment. that's what he does. in a situation like this, it's vulnerable for presidency, administration to put themselves at risk for someone like this that's obviously, a good writer, going to write this out. there's a lot of contention in terms of the accuracy of it but he says he has tapes as well.

a bigger majority. they love the money and the freedom. there are downsides to it. what cory gardner is saying is that on the merits of it, if he had a promise from jeff sessions this wasn't going to happen. i think he deserves an explanation as to the rest of us as to why there's a change. what sarah sanders said is absolutely true and this has been a problem from the beginning. there is a federal law that says marijuana is a schedule one narcotic. you have states that passed laws saying it's legal so then you have state law saying it's fine. federal law supersedes state law. the obama administration was like u.s. attorneys, don't worry about it. pretend you don't see it. what jeff sessions is saying is were not going to do that anymore. if you are a u.s. attorney and you want to go after big corporate weed, go for it. what basically has to happen is if congress wants to fix this, they need to pass a law to get marijuana off that list. >> kimberly: that's what needs to happen.
