comedy and drama. different films that compete in the award season. what i love about this year is there is no clear front runner in any of these categories. i could be wrong with a lot of my predictions and i like that. going into the actual show sunday night with seth myers hosting the show i don't know what is going to win and i'm excited. this category you mention i am going to go with margo robbie. she is so brilliant with this film, one of the best movies of the year, she placed tonya harding, the story of her and nancy kerrigan, and amazingly well made film and she learned a lot of the skating herself and for scenes that were too difficult to use the stage replacement in the triple axle and things like that but she is incredible in the film, my pick

for best actress in a musical comedy. rob: we have steve carell, battle of the sexes, i saw the disaster artist with james franco, he was excellent in that. >> i thought this was amazing, i thought it would go to james franco because of the disaster artist because he is playing tommy russo who wrote and directed the worst movie of all time called the room. it would be ironic to see the actor portraying him win the award on sunday night. i will say from the movie get out deserves the award but franco will take home of award sunday night. if you haven't seen the disaster artist i recommend that, also a movie called the room which the disaster artist is about the making of. jillian: best performance by an actor in a motion picture drama.

>> francis mcdermott, she is incredible in this film, my will win and should win in this category, a brilliant performance and every time she is on screen she is so unpredictable and i think she is going to win on sunday. rob: best performance by an actor in a drama as well. >> gary oldman to finally take home the oscar this year, he plays winston churchill though i will say it is not his best performance. i would go with true romance or the fifth element or dracula, timothy who plays the character in the call me by your name deserves this award, we may see him win, oldman was the front runner but salome is getting closer to him. i will say oldman for sure but it could be salome as well.
