talking immigration reform at the camp david retreat. the president reiterated he is hoping to strike a deal with democrats to protect hundreds of thousands of dreamers from deportation. but he says it is not happening. without funding for the border wall. which is by the way to the tune of at least $18 billion.

>> paul ryan and the house is talking about entitlement reform. cuts to spending. whereas, led by the republicans including the president mcconnell, you know he has shown some interest but i'm not sure what the degree of interest is for ryan with infrastructure and within the republican party. especially because it is such a bipartisan issue. different funding mechanisms might not be conservative enough for them. raising this fuel tax is something that will pay for this boost in infrastructure. >> speaking 2018, that leads to my next question. the midterm elections. a lot is riding on this year. especially for republicans because the majority over republicans versus democrats in the senate has narrowed. 49 ã51 i believe. when asked if he will be involved in this years election
