investigation. he was on the payroll of fusion gps we talk to them about the dossier. trying to get them to write stories. graham and grassley think he may have lied about the interaction with journalists. the project was later partially funded by the democratic national committee and the clinton campaign. the veracity of the contents of the dossier is still disputed. a criminal referral makes no transit members of congress cannot levy criminal charges but can flag them to be doj for more review. many republicans still want to know if the dossier sparks the entire fbi investigation into possible collision between the trump campaign and russia. >> this all goes to, how did this investigation into this collusion begin with law enforcement? what was christopher steeles role? who was he working with and in the justice department and the fbi people. >> is the first known terminal referral from congress as part of the russian investigation. >> this referral, angered

the historic hurricane system dealt a blow to her florida beaches which are suffering from a lack of sand. we have the story. >> miami is out of sand! which is news to this canadian kid classically digging to china and all of the tourists that come here specifically for the sun, the surf and -- >> i like the sand. >> this and. >> the sand, the beach. >> they bring about $70 billion a year to the economy. but trademark beaches regularly get swallowed up by hurricanes and erosion. the coastal communities spend $100 million every year for beach nourishment. usually, it is judged offshore and pumped up to the beach. after decades of that, miami-dade and broward counties have now depleted the offshore supply. south florida leaders now want the option of barging in sand from the bahamas. something currently prohibited

by federal law for 40 years. all to protect americans jobs and profits. >> the biggest impact is financial. it is a very expensive process. >> they support the legislation pending in congress which would allow foreign sand imports. because they believe it can reduce standard nourishment cost to taxpayers. 30 to 50 percent. versus what they now must do. chucking it in from central florida. large republican marco rubio sponsors the senate bill. >> it is common sense really more than any free-market principle. it is about the idea that if there is a supplier out there available, and it is cheaper than what you have now, then that is a wise way to use american taxpayer money. >> this ongoing project is trucking it in, spreading it out and rebuilding the beach at a cost of $8 million.
