controversies, negative coverage and a quinnipiac poll, 58% of people actually disapprove of the media coverage, 38% approved. a lot of people watching for these awards, what do you think? >> it was genius for trump to create these awards because it will force the media to cover its own bias against him but there is fierce competition for most dishonest media organization, msnbc his anchors never said anything positive about trump, the failing new york times, the washington post with a seething hatred for the president and cnn which used to be a respectable news organization but morphed into essentially an arm of the democratic party during trump's first 100 days in office, 93% of cnn and nbc coverage of trump was negative and that is compared with 41% of negative coverage of obama and after the first 100 days the bias just continues so there are a lot of

patterns, it will be fun to see. heather: all finance games except it does do a disservice to americans when they see this repeated negative coverage and negative things happening when we had a lot of positive things that occurred under the president in the first year. >> absolutely but americans see what is going on and happy to see trump shining a spotlight on media dishonesty, there's a reason only 32% of americans today trust the media and the longer this bias goes on the less influence these outlets will have blue cnn, nbc, the washington post and the new york times, these outlets are not changing people's minds anywhere, displaying to an increasingly small slice of the far left wing and ultimately trump's actions will have greater influence on voters than the media and he has a lot to be proud of, the economy is

quarters in a row. you are starting to see wages go up. >> wages going up, 401(k) going up and as you are discussing fat, looking at it visually, the tao milestone, in 2016, 19,000s, above 26,000. >> businesses and investors love the president's economic agenda, going after regulation, business owner after business owner talks about how important that is to unleash capital and they love the tax reform. they put more money in the hands of businesses, put more money in the hands of investors because they know how to use it better than the government does, the president's economic agenda, they are cheering it while experts on the left are dividing it and we are seeing the result, hard to argue with results.

heather: breaking down the demographics of the results, the unemployment rate in terms of african-americans, hispanics directly impacting them. >> one thing we don't talk about this past year we have seen 200,000 job gains in manufacturing. the year before we saw a lot of 16,000 jobs, the president said i want to bring a resurgence back and we are seeing it. heather: bring manufacturing back to this country. >> again it comes back, you cut regulation, give businesses freedom to invest, lower their taxes so they have more money in their pockets to put in workers pockets and invest in new equipment, you get good results, that is how it works, starts with giving more freedom to individuals, that is what the president is focused on. jillian: they came to an agreement on its tax reform bill, government shutdown coming up on friday, i have to ask you this, will discontinue?

as we were discussing people said this is going to happen, now they say it won't last. >> a lot of reasons you will continue to see gains in 2018. corporate profits high, businesses, consumers, unemployment low, one risk we do have is interest rates, the federal reserve will start raising rates, they will continue to raise rates next year because rates have been so low for so long, sometimes that can have a negative effect on the economy and the stock market. watch that in 2018, see how the fed manages interest rates. it is an important factor. of that is kept at a moderate pace you will see gains continuing in 2018, consumers feeling good and that is good for the economy. jillian: what is the main factor if you had to pick one main factor that shows the economy doing great? >> i love the business confidence, people think we are
