had a healthier diet over the last 20 years he might live to be 200 years old. i don't know. brian: a lot of people are disappointed the president is healthy and will survive. steve: not just healthy but he is not crazy. i would hope after dr. jackson out 25th amendment thing would go away. if you look at the crazy stuff that was asked. they asked him is he obese. health problems? is he a germ phone. does he have a bone spurs, do i beat, ocd? ainsley: dentures. brian: the answer is no by the way. steve: one of the a.p. reporters asked the doctor do you have a like expectancy? in other words, when will he die? brian: that was mike pence which was inappropriate. steve: it was not. it was a.p. reporter. then somebody from bloomberg asked why did potus slur his words? he probably needed a drink of water because the dr. had given him a sudafed.

that was something the media had blew up something matter with the president. as it turned out he took a sudafed. ainsley: three other things shocked me the president told the doctor answer as many questions as they asked. the doctor wasn't going to do this a cognitive assessment of his mental state. the president said check me out so i can tell reporters i'm healthy. the doctor did that and he routerred to them everything is a okay. the third thing that struck me this is the same doctor that gave the physical exam for president obama. it doesn't seem that he is partial to one of these are the presidents. brian: by the way he is an admiral he accomplished something along the way. i have think that shows accomplishment. his ten you're started with the administration with george w. bush who he examined. he also gave president obama a bunch of them and now he has president trump. people have no problem with how he examined president obama. gave him a two page memo after. josh earnest released it? anybody have any questions? this yesterday i actually thought they should have played circus music underneath it. steve: but, at the same time, i think for the white

anyone saying it's last generation technology. 2006, as you know we had a bipartisan agreement and secure fence act which senators obama, clinton, and schumer all voted for. 92% of those that were arrested and taken into custody by ice were criminals, i believe that we can and should do better for the american people to ensure that those who come here are able to contribute, willing to contribute, and to assimilate into our communities. i'm happy to work with any member and every member who would like it work on this with the department of homeland security. it's a very, very important issue. steve: she's right. ainsley: if you wonder who is coming over the border. democrats will make you believe it's families coming over. steve: then there is that. ainsley: that does happen. but she just said more than 90%, i believe see said, 92% of those coming over the border are criminals. those arrested by ice she says. brian: and 70% other than mexicans. mexicans are letting them go

right through. it's not necessarily mexicans, others coming right through. ainsley: 70% are not coming from mexico. brian: they are not just mexicans u going through it to get to us. steve: for her to make those comments that's extraordinary. because, remember, she has not always been on the trump train. she supported jeb bush, she was more of a traditional mainstream bureaucrat and now she is 100 percent behind the president. however, that's where she was talking about border security. so unfortunate of her testimony was where she was at the receiving end of things like this from corey booker who was unhappy that she could not remember the president of the united states using that language last week. >> the commander-in-chief in an oval office meeting referring to people from african countries and haitians with the most vile and vulgar language. that language festers in

ignorance and bigotry is allied with power it is a dangerous force in our country. your silence and your am nish shah is complicity. steve: can you tell he is running for president. ainsley: is he angry. brian: she was not wrattled at all by that she wanted to talk about homeland security how to fund it and structure it they wanted to talk about a meeting that took place last thursday that brought up a huge controversy which plays in tobleg lockout in the next 48 hours because everyone wants to talk about what happened on thursday. not many people want to talk about funding the government or immigration reform or some type of solution to daca. steve: i was talking to a senior white house official who was in the room last week on thursday. and they told me that the reason the president rejected the proposal is, first of all, it was amnesty. also, it didn't undo chain migration. it didn't undo the visa lottery program. and it was going to let in over 150,000 people from other countries each year

from countries included in the list of sponsors of terror and those countries on the terror watch list. the president apparently said that is a terrible deal. i'm not going to go along with that if you think about it it's amnesty. can you understand why did he it. ainsley: i'm curious to find out how you at home feel like is he yelling at her. i understand wants to have that conversation with the president. i would disagree with because i think you need to have respect for the commander-in-chief. if he wants to have that conversation have it with the if he is worried about those alleged comments. not her. she a woman. she handled herself in a beautiful way. very classy. i wanted to see her facial express. she did not budge. she let him finish. she didn't make any facial expressions why is he acting like this. she listened to him and responded i don't recall hearing him say that word. brian: senator blumenthal did not take it you will

putting my i.c.e. officers at risk, but also finding an efficient and effective way to enforce our immigration laws. brian: jeff sessions talked about that with tucker carlson last night as attorney general. so how would that work? could there be arrests of mayors and sheriffs? kansas secretary of state chris cobach helped president. do you see rahm emanuel, mayor de blasio in cuffs? >> well, it is certainly possible. there is a section in our criminal code dealing with immigration that makes it a crime to encourage or induce an illegal alien to remain in the country knowing he is illegal alien or with reckless indifference to the fact that he is probably an illegal alien. that is the actions by these city councils to create these sanctuary laws, actually would fall within that crime. now it is up to the justice department to decide whether they want to charge them with it. this crime has been on the books since 1952.

impact the profits of a business, these are people going into business to make a profit, they want to keep their costs down, when minimum wage goes up beyond what they pay with the current structure, they have to reduce people's hours, what happened in seattle, there is study showing they went down $125 a month. or they automate. automation hurts young people, elderly people, african-americans. it really does hurt. competition is much more effective at driving wages up because if people believe that the economy is going to grow, and at same time, with the republican and president trump's tax bill and deregulation, businesses now have more money. they want to invest in the future. they believe it is going to grow. you have seen people automatically, you have seen banks and stuff go to 15. walmart went to 11. what walmart said is, the market is now about $11. there are places where it will be lower. places like seattle and san francisco it will be higher but the market is at 11. if you raise your wage up to 11 you're probably not hurting

anything. you go above 11 to 15 you will see very negative consequences. steve: i'm sure you travel around the country. how many places where you have been to there is fast-food place, there is ipad, you punch out your order, comes out 90 seconds real fast. here in new york city they're talking about replacing cashiers. activists think, okay we have real leverage here, they actually don't. >> no. steve: easier to buy automated system than to hire people. >> for years it was more expensive to buy the machine. you didn't have the personal touch. with millenials moving up, they do everything on i phones and digitally, you see more acceptance of the kiosks. they have come down in price. labor gone up they are more competitive. mcdonald's wendy's, talking about putting hundreds if not thousands in. ruby tuesday laid off people in their restaurants. they have on the table ordering. this is spreading fast, wide, unfortunate, because young people need those entry level jobs. my first entry level job was at

baskin rob bins. i tell you what, you learn so much in short period of time. people need enentry-level jobs to get experience. this minimum wage hike is killing them. a very negative thing for the country. ainsley: tax reform putting green in everybody's wallet? >> this tax reform is amazing. i was doing interview on vice, they were laughing at me i thought wages would go up second quarter of next year, 2018. i ended up quiting guy who was laughing, i sid second quarter, i didn't know they would go up by the second day, 4hours they would start to go up. reaction has been tremendous. optimism historically high among the business community. ainsley: andy got the last laugh. >> thank you both. steve: we'll step aside. more "fox & friends a couple minutes away.
