the russian government and the trump campaign. the absence of any visible evidence seems to have cooled that story down on they are on ton obstruction of justice being a possibility. the median washington cannot stand donald trump. they can't stand the sight of him. they would like to see them brought down. no doubt in my mind about that. i think that when we look at it -- in am not prepared to believe that baba mueller's investigation will not, in the end,r' be fair.ve i think it's reasonable to say that he made some mistakes and the people that he hired and the fbi agents that he used it to help conduct the investigation but i'm still not prepared to believe that in the end, this guy will come up with a slender report a flimsy report with accusations that will not hold up under scrutiny. same time, i believe there is every chance that we may find out some serious misconduct in the fbi and the justice department during the

latter stages of the obama administration and the beginning of this one. i think that bears a serious investigation, as well. i am not, sean, a fan of having another special counsel. they always end up being unaccountable and out of control and they wander very far afield from the original missions and i think they are a bad idea and i was glad when the independent counsel statute was allowed to last been i hope this special counsel process was not being used in the case of mr. term, either. >> sean: brit hume, always good to have you. when we come back, sean spicer, ari fleischer, they weigh in on today's big blockbuster top stories. straight ahead. ♪ ari weigh in.>> ♪
