civil liberties of americans and taking sides in the political contests. you can't trust a government that would do that and many americans don't. that's a disaster in a democracy where trust is key. transparency is the only antidote to that. release all documents and let us decide what they mean. maybe that will make us trust the government again. democrats disagree. last week party leaders and the media were yelling at us about how releasing the nunes memo would constitute a deadly threat to america. then the memo came out. whatever you think of the mem's conclusions, you have to concede there was not a single thing in there you should not have been allowed to see. no classified weapons discussed or names of secret agents revealed. democrats didn't want it released because it might embarrass them. we spoke to a california

congressman nunes broke the laws of congress and should be going to jail for it. at heart, democrats are doing this because this is not just a few rogue elements of the bureaucracy. the 2 most powerful factions in the democratic establishment, the obama administration and the clinton campaign were also tied up with this every step of the way including whatever his title is -- the assistant deputy under the secretary of state. this guy weiner who was big buddies with christopher steele on this. christopher steele himself is a very unusual figure cho who supposed retired from mi-6 at the age of 44 and is described in this memo as a long-time asset of the fbi.

in proof that the entire russian investigation is built on a foundation of sand. donald trump, jr. joins us tonight. what was your reaction to the memo? what is the take a way? >> that americans should be scared about what is going on. you don't think of this happening in the united states. you don't think of this happening in a country where we have a foundation of laws and principles grounded in the constitution. this is a clear violation of that. the court that no one knows about hazardly granting full surveillance of american citizens, in this case the elected president of the united states, based on shady information paid for by the opposition party candidate in that presidential race. this is crazy stuff. >> tucker: it seems outside of the bonds of what the law was written to allow. it is allowed under the law and

that law was reauthorized by the republican controlled congress with little debate. why? >> i don't know. i think they want to re-visit that. as an american citizen to see this stuff going on, to try to subvert democracy this way based on these people who are so bi biassed, that's scary. it's one thing if you are doing it in a bipartisan system, but that's not at all what we want have here. >> tucker: all of the things we are talking about were allegedly committeed by employees of the executive branch which is now the trump executive branch. how do you fix this? >> i don't know. i think we have to open everything up. listen to the democratic memo. i am sure that will be a winner given the fact that schiff is doing this. we have been in a one sided

battle. republicans can have their talking points and there is bias there as well. when the mainstream media is willing to go to battle for anything the other side says and say, that is the gospel. that's where it gets scary. open it all up. let's see the fisa court transcripts and everything that went into this. i think once all of that comes out, not just the rebuttal they had weeks to say, this is how we will counter it, but let's see the court transcripts. i want to know what that judge saw when they re-authorized it. it was based on carter page and re-authorized after he was not even a part of the campaign anymore. what is their basis for the on-going investigation? >> tucker: the rebuttal schiff memo that the house intelligence

committee voted to declassify. that will go to the president. hopefully we will all get to see it soon. they didn't applaud the declassification of the nunes memo? was it strikeing to see reporters argue for more secrecy? >> i had a feeling they would. it was the first time in history where i am watching the media argue for less information. touting the talking points. this will make it difficult to investigate people! we will be giving up trade secrets. i didn't see any of that in the memo but those were the schiff talking points to prevent it from coming out. the media was willing to make sure everyone knew the sky was falling if this memo was released. >> tucker: none of the people had seen the memo?

>> who knows what they knew or what they had seen? it's not like there have not been leaks from various members who were part of that and had seen it. i would not be surprised in they did know. >> tucker: your take on carter page at the center of that memo which described how the federal government spied on him? >> i think it's ridiculous. this is a low level person who worked on the campaign. there was an email that this person is no longer working on the campaign. one family member said who is the heck is that individual? to did that to attack the elected president after that person is no longer part of the campaign. everybody wants to be a part of

somebody. the reality is he was not a real player in the campaign. to utilize that person. makes him a great patsy for that. the reality of the situation answer we had an investigation going on for over 2 years where there is zero evident. we haven't seen any investigations into all of the shade, all of the stuff going on with our opponent that were actual, real things that happened. that she was involved in. there is not even an investigation. but you can take a fringe person on a campaign. utilize that to get all of these fisa warrants to spy on somebody who becomes the president of the united states. i mean, what about this? did is reek of a banana

the latest. the clark county coroner refuseed to release the autopsies of 58 shooting victims in response to a court order, but refuseed to release the autopsy of shooter stephen paddock. he claims the autopsy is still being finalized after all of this time. doctor, this seems like a weird ecplanition. you have perspective. >> coroners and medical examiners have to obey judicial order, period. it may be a situation where the autopsy findings may be important in a criminal investigation that the district attorney or the fbi asked to hold off the release so it doesn't interfere with their investigation. that sounds unlikely in this situation. >> tucker: they are saying this was a single shooter event and

have not suggested there is anything we don't know about. what could be the connection between the autopsy results and the continuing investigation? >> especially when the body has been cremated as a understand. i can't think of a reason under these circumstances where all of the other autopsy have been released as a result of the judicial order, the court are the. why this one would not be. >> tucker: what would we learn of interest from an autopsy? >> well, it's interesting when you have 58 people die, who seem to have been shot. why do autopsies at all? one of the reasons is to recover all of the bullets that were fired. to find if there is a bullet that came from a weapon that was not in the potion of the shooter. to see if there was a second

shooter possibly would be one of the reasons. the bullet we leave behind is the bullet that comes from a different gun. that's one reason for the autopsy. the others, in some jurisdictions not everybody is autopsied if the shooting obviously causes the death. in this situation all bodies should be autopsied and all of the injuries identified and the issues will come up of pain and suffering. maybe some people died from the stampede getting out rather than of a bullet. >> tucker: of course. but in the case of the shooter, we were told by authorities he was the only one in the hotel room and the only one firing a weapon and died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

those seem like the [inaudible question]s. they are hiding the autopsy, what would be their motive? >> if there were some issues and they were doing some studies on the brain of the decedent. all of the information coming out about childhood trauma. was there a brain issue that may have been contributeed to his bizarre behavior? they may still be looking for certain special stains and chemial analysis of the brain. that could be the reason it's not completed. usual the reason the autopsy is not immediately released to the next of kin it to do the analysis to find if this was any toxicology reason. but the time has passed now since october 1st, any
