tonight. the deputy attorney general there, i was out and says it did not affect the election. so who cares? >> the american people clearly care! look, we none of the evil empire still exists. that is the one thing. when i was raised as a boy, the evil empire is asleep in the 60s, 80s, through thousands. they have not changed at all. vladimir was clearly trying to do one thing. clearly in this indictment they started in may 2014. clearly, before donald trump was president, a presidential candidate, long before many of the people got into the race, he wanted to sow discord. that is what they did. and it did not matter who the candidates were. people work dedicated to disrupt the election. i blame two people for this. barack obama and james comey. they were the president and the fbi director for two years while this was going on.

12:38 am
today. i will speak with you mr. secretary first. give a program they told me about there really was or is the basis of this new program. what is it? >> is called the envision program. i discovered and talking to a lot of young people particularly in disadvantaged areas, i say what you want to do when you grow up and you don't get a lot inspiring choices. we want to really expose them to the things that they are capable of doing. we also want to establish mentoring. there are a lot of good mentors in our society lest they do not know where to go or how to use that mentoring power. and we need a way to marry the need with the resources. >> c have this program called envision. and i think we have a full screen that shows the four pillars of the program.
12:39 am
>> yes, economic empowerment, educational advancement, health and wellness and leadership and character development. all of which are things that normally occur in a well-functioning, healthy home environment. but that does not necessarily exist for everybody. but as a society, we can create that. we can make that happen and we can empower people. because our whole idea now with comp is not how many people would get into the programs, but how many we can get out of programs. how many people we can help climb that ladder. >> okay so now we have this envision program. we have you, the secretary and a cabinet member of hud and that we have is i come. and he said to himself, sells, how can we marry this important program and resources with what you have to offer? >> but we are really talking about getting people to make

good choices. wherever we are because people drop out of school and join gangs. when only talk about a role model but getting them to raise their self image to believe they can do things. because there about bringing an athlete appeared in nfl nba player to say look at me. and that is to convince them that they can do anything they want. if they make, self image is so critical in everything you do. when you raise it self image then they start looking and saying positive things about themselves and other people. and the whole environment changes! they do not have a role model, we do not have a father in many instances. alden wants to do in this program, this was started by a professor at notre dame but everyone wins. everyone wins. but more importantly the young

people when and the country wins if we make good choices. and it's our obligation to help these people. >> coach, you are well known. for going into the inner city, talking to mothers of young kids that can become famous, sports icons themselves. and you say give me your son, i will bring you back a man. give me a sense of that. >> absolutely! because we teach them to make good choices. and discipline, it is what you do for somebody. i would say to them, get a dog and you let them do anything they want to never have -- you put a choke collar on and it is what can and cannot do! then years later you give it freedom because they learn to make good choices. and i believe this. i don't care where you go, because every better education system for the people in the inner city. i don't know why people consider their children to go to a private school but then a minority capitalism public housing. that is not fair. it is getting people to make this and believe in them.
12:42 am
i had two people last year on the board of trustees at notre dame. two players put in the nfl hall of fame, three coaches. all seven are afro-american. i don't take credit for it. if parents and then they learn to make good choices for more than that they have a vision. that is where everything starts with vision. >> doctor, you have this program, envision. and the coach says how you will marry each other. how do we actually get to the students? to the individuals that you want to help? >> all of these envision centers will be located either within the housing complexes for very close to the places where people are disadvantaged. and while not necessarily all be in the inner city either. because of disadvantaged people throughout the society. we have to recognize that in america, if granted 30 million
12:43 am
people. we have to compete against india and china. they have four times as many people. which means we need to develop all of our people. this is what we need to start thinking this way as a nation. >> we bring into the envision centers? >> the first i will bring is -- they formed a club. -- lads. i did not come up with it! they have an alumni association, these are people that are very talented and very successful. they would be willing to come in and start being mentors. i also spoke with robert mcnair, jerry jones, i spoke to him over 20 minutes to his daughter charlotte, is a superstore. is going to get back with me about possibilities presented with mr. mcnair.
12:44 am
i spoke with -- president of the nba, not commissioner. he was one of my captains. i think i have a little pull with him. not only that -- i would like doctors, lawyers, anybody! >> let's stick with sports. stick with what you know. we will teach them did not take a knee? >> the important thing is communication. these rooms will have places for people to come together and to discuss things. and you know, before people get divorced, what do they do? they stop talking, they stop communicating. next we know that there spouse is the devil incarnate. as was happening in society right now. we need to change that direction quickly. every society that has done that has destroyed themselves.

comparing the president of the united states to pontius pilate. it is astonishing. go to the comments about gun laws.i was challenge back what exactly is the position? do you want handouts to be burned as well? because if that is your position that the majority of gun deaths in the country. if you think i will gun laws are actually fostering an environment and culture that is making us have more gun violence, why not just ban all guns? if that is the position. because right now, if you look at the majority of gun violence in the country comes from handguns. it would be foolish, wrong and impossible. i like a soundbite of common sense gun reform. i would love to hear what that means chris because it is a talking point. >> i will tell you what it means. if you stop filibustering. the bottom line is this. we need private insurance on every gun. in a registry on every gun. people in the florida department of children and families visit who find our troubled and finding that they want to purchase because it should never be buying guns!

12:53 am
>> first all that will be completely impossible. there are over 250 million does the country must have not been registered and are owned illegally. we are talking about the massive shooting of florida. that would not have prevented that. it would have prevented if the fbi did their job. moving up laws on the books. >> what about the florida department of children and families did their job? >> the fbi was notified twice. >> they visited this guy a year and and a half ago and they knew he was wanting to buy guns. and they said the report they did not know -- >> chris! the fbi got a tip five weeks before, saying all of this stuff and they did nothing! >> and that is horrible to judge. i'm not giving them a pass on that, nobody should. but there were lots of warning signs your missed by lots of agencies. >> okay. except the most specific to the fbi. charlie, the president tweeted
