tv   Watters World  FOX News  February 24, 2018 11:00pm-12:00am PST

11:00 pm
greg: glad to know he is life. thanks to lieutenant colonel allen west, bre, kat, tyrus, our jesse: welcome to "watters world." i'm jesse watters. say you are paying a bodyguard to protect you but the body guard shows up late. and you keep getting your butt kicked. and when you try to fire the body guard, he tells you to. the most of important thing we pay the government to do is to protect us. the florida school short was a deranged animal we should have
11:01 pm
been protected from. the local police and school district knew he was violent and dangerous. state agencies knew he was mentally unstable and a threat. the fbi was tipped off twice about him being a school short and didn't foul. we now learned there was an armed deputy on campus during the shooting. instead of entering the building and neutralizing the shooter like he was trained and paid to do, he stayed outside the building for four minutes. the shooting lasted 6 minutes. the deputy wasn't even fired. the sheriff suspended him. so he retired with full benefits. the government fails on a state and local level and the democrats blame it nra. >> it's time for us to limit the control the nra has over congress because people are
11:02 pm
dying. jesse: let me be clear. people died because of the evil shooter. and the government should have and could have protected against him. liberals don't want to us defend ourselves when the government failed to protect us. some americans aren't going to put up with it anymore. here is andrew pollack at the listening form at the white house. >> my daughter has no voice. she was murdered last week and taken from us. shot 9 times on the third floor. we as a country failed our children, we protect airports, we protect concerts, stadiums, and the department of education that i walked in today that has a security guard in the
11:03 pm
elevator. how do you think that makes me feel? pissed. it's my daughter i'm not going to see again. she is not here. she is not here. we all work together and couple with the right idea that school safety. it's not about gun laws right now. that's another fighter, another battle. jesse: the government gets attacked, amtrak trains derail, illegals flow across the border, velts die in waiting rooms. guns go missing in mexico. no wm drkss in iraq. state authorities botched katrina. the list goes on and on. but everybody single time the government messes up, the party much big government democrats divert attention to republicans, fox news, racism or not enough government funding. once the left assigns blame,
11:04 pm
their solution is always the same. bigger government, less freedom. hurricane, stop global warming, stop drilling for oil. terrorist attack we have to stop saying radical islam. the' sphieb security up in orlando, fort hood and the boston marathon. and we have to assume the trump collusion investigation was done right? we aren't allowed to question the fbi. people are not safe in america because we are not getting the protection we are paying for. here to react, conservative columnist and best-selling author, ann coulter. good to see you. what did you think?
11:05 pm
ann: i think it's an excellent introduction. i like the way the left goes back and forth, they love our men in blue or they are killers. i like cops, but the motto is when seconds count, we'll be there in minutes. one of the creepiest things about these shootings is all the advice students are getting about running and hiding. i'm pane american, i'm not running and hiding. i would like to be armed and at least have a fighting chance. right now the police are the only ones liberals want to have guns. they will protect us and take care of us, but they really can't. jesse: the police officer paid to protect them didn't act. ann: someone is floating having
11:06 pm
an armed guard at school is completely moronic, that's the first about guy the sky --ed the psychotic takes out. the wear it's being portrays on other networks, we want all teachers -- jesse: the third grade teacher is pack pistol. ann: there were a lot of kids who came forward after virginia tech who said i am trained and i have a concealed carry permit. but i wasn't aloud to take it on campus. coaches, administrators, teachers, in some cases in colleges it will include some of the students. then the psycho doesn't know who had the gun. jesse: the father we showed said
11:07 pm
we protect everything we love in this country with guns. why don't we protect our children? wed days forum, the tone was perfect. trump listened it was a respectful exchange of ideas and you contrast that's with what happened in cnn. marco rubio and dana loesch went to the belly of the beast and were treated like villains. let's show some of that. >> can you tell me right now you will not accept a single donation from the nra. i would ask her how she can look in the mirror considering the fact that she has children. >> let me answer the question. >> you just told this group of people you are standing up for them. you are not standing up for
11:08 pm
them. jesse: that was the sheriff whose own deputy failed to protect the students. the momentum was going in the right direction when the president was listening to the families. then cnn comes out with this trash and sets the entire conversation back. did you see it? you weren't at the airport that day? ann: it looks fantastic. something i definitely want to see. jesse: they are calling the nra a murderer. ann: turn on cnn or msnbc any day of the week and you won't see me or any coherent conservative on any of the programs. jesse: they don't present both sides in the gun debate.
11:09 pm
rush limbaugh said this on his radio show. >> last night someone in that cnn crowd went public with what the real ultimate objective is, that's the con fist station of all weapons currently out there in the country. that's the objective. the audience booed marco rubio. the audience booed dana loesch. this is what indoctrination looks like. this is what you a lifetime of propaganda and indoctrination looks like. ann: the students are beautiful people. what i wrote about in "godless," sdged out victims to make their arguments for them. fine puck make your argument --
11:10 pm
fine, you can make your arguments. but can you not have someone weeping who just had a family member die deliver that argument? around argument is so good we are going to send out someone you can't argue back to. let jake tapper make the argument. lept rachel maddow make the argument. you can't send out people you are not allowed to respond to. what liberals seem to believe is they can create a world without guns. but i must tell you in a world without gun, i'm known as prey. a world without guns is frightening to a small female. the only way -- as the saying goes. good made man and woman and colonel colt made them equal.
11:11 pm
jesse: don't tell people you are packing. ann: it will be a big surprise. jesse: speaking of surprises. we had a surprise coming out of the cnn thing. one of the students claims cnn, and they recruited him to be a member of the form, tried to doctor his questions and change his script. here is his allegation. >> they took what i had wrote and talked about and they actually wrote the question for me. >> not with your own words? even after they asked you to send questions? >> absolutely. >> that seems dishonest. >> it definitely did. that's kinda why i didn't go last night. i thought it would be my own question. then it turned out to be just a script. she actually said that over the phone that i need to stick to
11:12 pm
the script. jesse: cnn is denying this. they are saying there is no truth to this. cnn did not script questions nor have we ever. it's kinds of hard to believe when they were caught'' giving questions to hillary during the debate. ann: turn it on any hour of any day and you can see only certain points of view are aloud. it's fun to argue politics. you define your own position. but you can't see that on the other networks. they go off and get crazier ideas. if you just had one person to give the other side, maybe there would be a response. you never know. jesse: do you even know what the
11:13 pm
democrats want to do on guns? all i know is we have to do something. i don't know what that something is. do you believe it's confiscation. ann: 47% of all mass shootings since 2000 have been committed by first or second generation immigrants. if you take out some of the frightening and spectacular ones committed by immigrants and the children of immigrants, san bernardino, the pulse nightclub, fort hood, virginia tech. you take out the big ones and you are left with sad young men with clearly paranoid schizophrenia. then we can deal with it as a mental health problem. you want to cut mass shootings in half, we have to put an end to teddy kennedy's immigration
11:14 pm
act. we have fewer mass shootings than many developed countries. jesse: per capita. it's a total lie perpetrated on the american people. ann: 98% of our mass shootings take place gun-free zones. jesse: i never heard the immigration issue tide mass shootings. i'll let the audience chew on that one. good to see you as always. president trump at cpac. that's next. we all want to know about the new thing.
11:15 pm

11:19 pm
oh, i try like hell to hide that bald spot, folks. i work hard at it. jesse: that was president trump at cpac, the conservative political conference friday and the crowd ate it up. president trump: we have a crooked media -- we had a crooked candidate, too, by the way -- but we have a very, very crooked media [crowd chants lock her up] i will say this, folks. everything turning out, it's amazing, it's come full circle. boy, have they committed a lot of atrocities. jesse: kellyanne conway. i loved the air bit.
11:20 pm
really self-deprecating. you know the president is very conscious of his hair. and joking with the press and there to energize the base. how did you see it? >> exactly that way. that was off script and the president was adding his own personal flourish. that's in large part why donald trump got elected in the first place. people see him as authentic, and they appreciate that. he is and remains 13 months into the job an unconvention at president because he's a non-politician. he doesn't act like one, or speak like one. and they love it. jesse: 50% approval rating which is higher than president obama at the same time in his presidency. >> our standing in the world is
11:21 pm
up according to these independent polls as well. that's a direct nexus because of his leadership. so many people lied about his leadership. 4 million americans helped 300-some companies. they know it's because of his bold leadership. jesse: those crumbs are becoming much more popular with the american people. one of the things he talked about very popular, was the wall during the campaign. let's listen to that. president trump: don't worry, you are getting the wall, don't worry, okay? i had a couple these characters in the back say he really doesn't want the wall. he just used that for
11:22 pm
campaigning. can you believe it? i say every time i hear that the wall gets 10 feet higher. jesse: one of the things he followed that up with is he kept a lot of promises he made during the campaign and delivered on a record amount of promises for a political candidate. the wall has been one thing that's taken a little more time. are the people getting anxious about the wall construction? >> they know he will keep that commitment. the president put out a 70-point immigration plan last fall and he's down to 4 points with the congress. he said the democrats have all but abandoned daca. this is their signature issue. when they hear immigration reform, all they think about is daca. they basically walked away from
11:23 pm
the table. they voted to shut down the government then sat on their hands while a 12-year-old boy was being honored for putting flags on veterans' graves. beginning here in 2011 is where this got started when he gave a speech here. that man single handedly took issues mired in single digits like immigration and trade and catapulted them into the american consciousness by talking about fairness, american prosperity and border security. those issues are just as rest noon the the american public as they were. jesse: one of the president's plans is to arm well-trained teachers or administrators or coaches in the school to neutralize a school shooter
11:24 pm
before police can arrive. he addressed that on friday. president trump: well-trained, gun adept teachers and coaches and people that work in that building. a teacher would have shot the hell out of him before he knew what happened. jesse: you have got about a minute left. what do you think about that? >> at a round table this week, it was riveting. the president addressed hardening the targets. we are protecting so many other places with armed guards and security guards and other mechanisms, and not our schools. this president is putting on the table a number of possibilities that will be discussed. but this president is making very clear gun free zones and schools that don't have all the safety measures they need are places where people will come. they will not be undeterred.
11:25 pm
they will be encouraged to go to those places and do their harm. this president has listened throughout his presidency, but have much this week to those affected families who came to the table with actual solutions and idea. he did a great job listening to them. now it's up to him, and congress in both parties to come to the table and find solutions. we need to act but not overreact. jesse: hopefully you and i can have a conversation at cpac next year, kellyanne. >> we miss you this year. jesse: we'll be right back.

11:31 pm
jesse: we told you russians promoted pro-trump rally and anti-trump rallies. there was a huge sponsored anti-trump rally in new york city. msnbc and cnn blew it up. >> they made their way to practically the doorsteps of trump tower. i'm thinking at least 10,000 people have been out here ask delivering a message to donald trump. that is that they will not tolerate a campaign he ran on, a campaign they say is fueled by hate. >> they are trying to say they are being more uncluesive. they want to show america love really does win. jesse: here to respond, marie
11:32 pm
harf and trump former campaigning manager corey lewandowski. it looks like hillary clinton collude with the russians. >> a large majority of the russian activity was in support of donald trump. but it's true they tried to sow discord. a lot of people respond online to what we now know is russia trying to sow discord. americans have a right to know that if they attended a rally whether it was a pro-trump or anti-trump. it deserves to be covered. jesse: cnn has been saying the russians are in the tank for trump. and now they do like a massive
11:33 pm
anti-trump rally and cnn and msnbc willingly, not wittingly. but willingly serve it up to the american people like it's a lovefest. >> the russians were so inept at trying to influence the election they were spending their money in the district of columbia and maryland which was going to go 90% for hillary clinton. they put the rallies together after the election. the only indication the russians were involved in the election was the $5 million the clinton campaign paid christopher steele to get the dossier. the collusion was between the clinton campaign and the russians. jesse: $40,000 on ution facebook ads. i think hillary and trump spent
11:34 pm
$81 million on facebook ads. as rosenstein said it did not affect the outcome of the election. >> that's not actually what he said. he said there are no indications in that indictment that it changed votes. donald trump and his team -- jesse: isn't that the same thing. not changing votes is not the same as not affecting the election? >> what rod rosenstein and others said there is no evidence voting machines were hacked into effectively. jesse: i want to get to something else. cnn had a bad week after this. they went to the house of florune goldfarb who maybe liked a facebook pawnl she didn't know
11:35 pm
was run by the russians. here is a cnn reporter drew griffin confronting her at her house. >> they weren't involved with us. just make sure you report it correctly. >> but you were involved with being patriotic. >> the group that contacted these activities that you posted on your facebook account. >> those were legitimate. >> they were russians. >> they were not russians. i don't know with the russians. >> that group was russian. jesse: i have done this before. >> i want to know if i liked a facebook post i thought an american had written and it was written by a russian, wouldn't you want to know. jesse: you wanted a cnn reporter
11:36 pm
showing up at your house and hurling accusations at you. >> she cares about our country. any time a reporter comes knock on your door and you are just an average person who loves your country, it's out of line. even if they did like a facebook page put out by the russians there will be is no way she would have known that. it's impossible for youth think that every facebook post you have ever liked has been posted by an american. leave the poor woman alone. can you unequivocally said you have never liked a facebook post posted bid someone who is not an american. >> the point is you guys need to be able to distinguish. you guys won. we know that. donald trump is president. admitting that the russians interfered in our election doesn't undermine that. it's so hard for you and the
11:37 pm
president. we are under attack by russia today, right now they are trying to attack our 2018 election and the fact that you are unwilling to admit that -- >> your president barack obama knew about the attacks. the president barack obama knew about these supposed attacks in may of 2015 and did nothing about it. jesse: that's true. we gotta run. i have just got to say. the woman ambushed. her phone is ringing off the hook. she is being trashed by trolls on facebook. but she is getting a lot of support. up next, diamond and silk.

11:39 pm
11:40 pm

11:42 pm
jesse: nancy pelosi was asked about border security. she seems to be coming around at least. listen to this idea. >> we'll built a wall and mexico is going to pay for it. that's never going to happen. but let's talk about where a more serious structure might be necessary, fencing might do pore mowing the grass so people can't be smuggled through the grass. jesse: lawnmowers are going to stop illegals. joining me now video bloggers diamond and silk. what's going on, ladies. what do you think about miss pelosi's comment about mowing the lawn? >> she is a fry short of a happy meal. here is what she can do. she can put on her stilettos and
11:43 pm
go out there and mow the yard. and when she is mowing that yard what we can do is build the wall. and. she is on the other side, oh, well. jesse: i don't know, maybe she is smoking the grass, not mowing the grass, coming up with an idea like that. she was asked about the tax cuts. she'd called them crumbs. this is what she had to say and people didn't like it. listen to this. >> most of people are not in poverty, but some are. most of people have to struggle to make ends meet. so -- we are not talking about that. so in any event. i'm the mother of five, i can speak louder than anybody. jesse: nancy is worth 87 million
11:44 pm
according to open secrets. >> she is out of touch with the american people. especially -- she is supposed to be part of the party that's supposed to know what's going on in impoverished americans. but she hasn't a clue. this is why people like her we need to quietly vote them out. it's time for her to find a good flies relax and rest. jesse: maybe on the other side of that border wall. jamel hill, the woman that was let go and demoted by zpn. she was on "the view" the other day and got into it with meghan mccain. she seems to be sticking to her
11:45 pm
guns. >> do you still stand by what you said and do you think trump supporters are white you tremendous sifts? >> i stand by i said. somewhat would you say to ben carson? do you consider them a white supremacist. you've said you stand by what you tweeted. >> i wasn't talking about ben carson. we know the names i was talking about. jesse: why we have ben car snon his cabinet. that destroys her argument. >> it do destroy her argument. we stand by our words. she is an alleged black supremacist, so now we are even. she said her passion is writing. but if she writes the way she tweets than we don't want to hear it. it's trash. just throw it in the trash can.
11:46 pm
jesse: how is the tour going? >> the tour is going great. the next date is dallas, texas. >> the we add sod more to our tour. go to our website and see what we have got. jesse: the city council made a decision in l.a. on house parties and the party bros are here to respond next.

11:50 pm
>> raging at house parties is the truest ways to party. i tried to party at clubs, but it's almost impossible to let loose with such bad vibes. plus i'm on my parents' allowance and i can't afford bottle service. if you go through with this i'll be screwed. the l.a. city council didn't listen to the people. they voted to basically ban house parties from the hollywood hills. the bros are here to respond to these egregious legislative
11:51 pm
overreach. they can fine you up to $8,000, jail time is on the table for a few parties. you guys must be devastated. >> well, j-bone, it's safe to say we are not stoked. the council is flexing hard. and you know, not to be esoteric but i must turn to the fast and furious. act two, scene three, where palms car has just been blown up by johnny tran and tureto tells him he owes him a 10-second car and vince is still flexing in the background pretty hard. so paul didn't give. he stayed persistent in the fight and eventually he got his
11:52 pm
toyota supra and dusted the dude in the ferrari. i think in time we'll get our supra. >> year disappointed. but we don't want to give in to like institutional cynicism. so we are going to remain dogged in our pursuit of looser house party regulations and we have to be willing to sacrifice. if we have to pay fines and go to jail, that's what we are going to do in the name of partying. jesse: it guys would be the rosa parks of house parties. >> that's giving us too much credit before it's a nice thought. jesse: i think i extrapolate toad far with that analogy. i want to understand what you guys think about these russians interfering in the american election. have you been reading about
11:53 pm
this? >> yeah. you know, i would say keep it local. you know? i remember one time a crew from newport kept bombarding my squad in san clemente. and they are getting agro dplopg on anyone. eventually no one could enjoy the south swells. so keep it local and stay at your spot. >> i think they are trying to sow seeds of discord amongst us americans. but i think they are under estimating how much i love my dogs. the love that we share for one another, while it can be tried, it cannot be defeated. jesse: spoken like a true american patriot. you guys going to spring break. you guys are probably older than the college kids, but you might still fall into that scene. what's the plan? >> i'm a huge cabo, so i'm
11:54 pm
pulling for cabo. i love to dance at el squid row with chad not far away dancing nearby. feeling the rhythm, moving to the music, trying to meet someone special. jesse: are you both single? you are playing the field still in. >> i am for sure. i'll open myself up to love whenever i go to cabo. jesse: that should be the cabo tourist banner, open yourself up to love. i'm sorry to hear about the l.a. city council situation. behave yourselves in cabo. jesse: last call up next. the party bros will really love this one.
