>> thank you for having me on the show. commander paul bauer passed committee yesterday, it will hit the illinois house floor today. it is our hope the bill passes. this is important legislation. unfortunately we have yet another one of our heroes in blue guns down sensitively in a crime that could have been prevented. this should never have happened. we have a hero who served 30 years on the chicago police department his wife no longer has a husband, his 13-year-old daughter no longer has a father in the city no longer has a hero because of a crime that could have been prevented. the commander paul bauer act would help prevent future instances like this. jillian: why is it important to ban body armor and magazines? >> there's no reason we need

students and teachers return for the first day of classes since the deadly shooting. students will arrive at 7:40 and stay for half a day. there will be armed police on campus. the building where the shooting occurred will remain closed. the school will return to a full schedule starting march 5th. as students prepared to return to their new normal for the first time florida is a step closer to arming teachers in the classroom, approving the first school marshall program meant to be the last line of defense requiring certain teachers to go through firearm and active shooter training. the bill needs approval from the full house and of course the senate. jillian: an american man behind bars accused of trying to join isys overseas. california, handed over to the fbi, convicted in 2016 attempting to join terrorists in libya. he watched propaganda videos online on how to safely join isys. he could face 20 years in prison.

intent to stop the government, a great border wall on the southern border. here is a statement, the judge's ruling, the court cannot and does not consider whether underlying decisions to construct the border barriers are politically wise or prudent. i went to ask, this is seen as a victory in some ways but there was no way the court could stop this thing and congress put in some provisions to make sure these things would go forward if the president deemed them necessary. >> the president is the judge an apology. the divider in chief since he has been elected. the president of the united states, we elected him but he is not king. we have the judiciary, the congress and the presidency. this has to go through the legal process.
