>> i don't agree with that because we have new numbers out in texas where they are actually voting, it's not some poll but actually people who are showing up and voting, first let's take a step back two points real quick, one we are in the position today because president trump ended the protection for the young people. number two, there's a bill in congress and in the senate that got 80% of american people and nan can see something, when congress sees something to popular both sides want to attach everything they care about so they can get through at the same time. in texas on friday early voted ended, for republicans it's up 16%, for democrats 102%, the majority being latinos, don't seem like democrats are latinos are blaming democrats. heather: nan, what do you think is the reason that there's this shift in perception as to who to blame in terms it not being able to continue at this point. >> well, you know, heather, when the president puts on the table very openly and entrust

heather: he definitely won't. we do know what he's proposing just to bring people at home up to speed, 25% tariff on imported steel and 10% on imported aluminum, let's take a look at some of the facts, though, in terms of u.s. import of european made cars, the u.s. actually represented more than 30% of all eu passenger car exports in 2016, so this would be significant in terms of what the eu decides to do. could really impact, right? >> there was a huge trade imbalance between the eu and america and of course, german-made motor cars make a big part of it and this is why, if the european union want to push this, it is the german car manufacturers that will get hurt by this. so, you know, my suggestion to the unelected bureaucrats in brussels is back down, be quiet, if you want to take on trump, he'll be here. heather: so over half and tell

me if i'm right about this, over half of the eu-u.s. trade is not subject to custom duties, there's a 10% duty on cars made in the u.s. and then you mentioned levi's, it various from what i understand, 30% from goods and clothes? >> the european union sells itself around the world of being free trade organization, actually it's not, it's a custom's union with a big tariff wall around it, the goods that come in from all over the world. one of the reasons that i would say brexit, is i want us to break out of the european custom's union and for us as uk to start trading freely with countries like america where we will not undercut each other and where it will be fair trade, the eu is the biggest protectionist block in the world today and it's a fact that nobody stands up and recognizes. heather: doesn't sound like it would be a wise decision, base
