1:37 am
it means that this deal isn't a great deal for republicans and so really it is a consensus document. it's a consensus budget and right now the democrats are just trying to cause chaos, because what, because why, it makes president trump look bad and they want him to look chaotic. that's why they are trying to do. >> you don't need congressional democrats to make donald trump look bad, he has a phone and twitter, the texas school, 50 plus majority, you have the majority, you don't need the democrats, you can pass the budget and be on your way like you did with taxes. heather: here is the question, is president trump trying to reach across both aisles and are there people on both sides both democrats and republicans who like chuck just said don't want the president to succeed? >> yeah, that's absolutely true and that's why like i said, 30 -- $300 billion more in spending, including infrastructure spending, all sorts of types of spending on

spending that democrats want. especially right now all with what's going on in the country, all going on with both sides sniping at each other, you would think they should be able to agree on, let's spend more money, that's what dc is good at, democrats won't agree to that right now. heather: that's pretty amazing, chuck, you will get the final word. >> eight democrats up for elections in state that donald trump won, free advice republicans, you can send me a check in the mail. >> i agree with that, chuck, i agree with that. heather: thank you for joining, chuck, i still like your texas hat even though texas beat my tar heels. some of the president's biggest critics throwing support behind louis farrakhan, there's

took a look at the fatal flaws of this deal and he told the europeans, either you join us in follow-on deal that gets rid of sunset clauses which gives iran a path to a bomb in 10 to 15 years, you get actual inspections of place where is they do bad things and ban ballistic missiles or we are done and he's done. they are not going to do that. the europeans are going to fail and president trump is going to follow through on promise and kill the deal. heather: the ash heap of history, i like how you say that, have europeans done anything in reference to any of these issues that president trump brought forward? >> you know, i mean, the europeans are -- the germans don't want to do anything, the french are taking the lead and are willing to make positive moves and the brits are neutral, all in all, no, they are not getting enough done and consequently in the absence of a signed deal with all three of them on board prior to that may 12th deadline, the deal is done. heather: this is something that

rex tillerson and the president disagreed. a clear indication to you that this is what's about to happen with rex tillerson willing to let go? >> no doubt. this is what led to abrupt withdrawal. so he didn't want that, he had been perfectly clear to all national security leadership and generally mcmaster had helped him work out the plan they we wanted to get done, tillerson went against it and he's gone. heather: what about the impact on the upcoming meeting that supposedly is also set to happen in may with kim jong un? >> this puts kim jong un on notice that he's no longer dealing with someone like president obama who got his lunch money taken by the iran deal, he's dealing with the guy that wrote the art of the deal and he will have to make real concessions or he will watch the nuclear facilities turn into radioactive rubble, that will focus your mind.
