but it is a politically sensitive issue. he keeps trying to draw the contract between republican and democrat approaches. democrats in particular feel this is a good issue to have more lax enforcement at the border, allow more people to enter the country illegally, follow up with amnesty programs, a huge issue to highlight border enforcement is lax. the more he can highlight the better for him. jillian: an air force pilot is that after crashing during a training flight. the third military crash in two days renewing safety concerns. >> reporter: the air force thunderbirds tragically losing a pilot after an of 16 fighter crashes in nevada, the statement reads a u.s. air force

thunderbird pilot was killed when his f-16 fighting falcon crashed in the training range during a routine aerial demonstration training flight. what caused the crash is under investigation, the incident just hours after a marine corps helicopter crashed during a training mission killing all four people on board, not the first accident at the base in recent years. >> there have been mishaps. we had a crash in the city of imperial and there have been others. >> reporter: the same may -- the same day marine corps jet crashed in djibouti. the pilot was ejected and is in stable condition. three incidents causing serious concern about the condition of our military aircraft, donald trump has been pushing to rebuild the military requested $639 billion for the department of defense in his 2018 budget proposal and in 2019 that
