why? because they don't care about their own people. and that is the whole problembo right there. that's about it for us tonight. tune in every night at 8:00 to the show that is the sworn enemy of lying, pomposity, smugness, and groupthink. guess who's next, ladies and gentlemen, sean hannity! this >> sean: you even have mark steyn saying it. great job, sir. we have an incredible show tonight. that is all we can say,ho buckle up. this has been a truly historic day in america, and around the world. literally starting with shocking revelations out of israel. prime minister benjamin netanyahu just gave an unmitigated warning to the international community as it relates to iran, they are secretly advancing their nuclear program, and israel, the united states, all of our allies now face extreme danger. the "washington free beacon" reporting tonight that even our own intel committee has confirmed this. coming up, we'll show you all the evidence, we'll explain why obama's iranian appeasementll

plan did nothing to slow the threat of nuclear proliferation in the world. also tonight, more significant progress on the peninsula, the summit between north and south korea and the united states is moving forward as planned. now kim jong un is allegedly prepared to end his nuclear weapons program if the toted states promises not invade. the south korean president is even suggesting thates president trump should get the. nobel peace prize for his important work in the region. that is going to make liberals' heads explode. plus, another day, another damning revelation surrounding the deep statewide former director of of national intelligence turned anti-trump fake new cnn pundit james clapper caught lying directly to congress yet again. is congress ever going to face the general flynn standard or does he get the hillary, oh, we don't have equal justice under the law standard? john brennan's comments, is this a deep state threat against the president of united states? later, we'll address michelle

wolf's petty, cheap, lame performance at the white house correspondents dinner. finally, the caravan is scaling the fence. where is the mexican government? all of that plus, candace owens is fresh off her meeting with kanye west. she will give us all of the details later in this program. o buckle up. we have a busy opening news monologue. ♪ appeasement never works. tonight, we have another damning reminder. the israeli prime ministermi benjamin netanyahu is now sounding the alarm and as per usual, the prime minister has pure moral clarity. i've been saying this for years. now the prime minister is revealing, according to thousands of pages of official documents obtained by intelligence sources, iran's nuclear program is alive and well. the iranians call it project amad. it is secret, illicit, it is an ongoing scheme to construct
10:03 pm
nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them, including a very specific plan to develop five warheads, each containing a 10-kiloton yield. here is what the prime minister netanyahu said about this program in an incredible press conference, incredible bit of intelligence earlier today.nc >> this was iran's chance to fully come clean. they could tell the truth. they could say, we have this program, this secret program, it's over, it doesn't exist, we destroyed them. here's what iran actually told them. it said, iran denied the existence of a coordinated program and the development of the nuclear explosive device and specifically denied the existence of the plan. the material proves otherwise, iran authorized, initiated, and funded project amad.
10:04 pm
a coordinated program aimed at the development of a nuclear explosive device. here's another document from the archive. a master plan of project amad. >> sean: i'm told the that entire presentation, powerpoint, without any notes. remember, this just comes three years afterr president obama signed off on what is the worst deal in the history of the united states, frankly, the world. the multilateral agreement where the united states agreed to unlock $150 billion of frozen iranian assets and send another 1.7 billion in cash including an initial $400 million down payment, literally shipped in cargo planes and cash and other currencies. some critical sanctions against iran were lifted at the time. what did we get in return? a promise from radical islamic mullahs of iran that they temporarily halt their nuclear weapons program? the same mullahs that actively plan for the destruction of israel? the same mullahs that chantel

"death to america, death to israel," that fund terrorism all over the world, that are fighting proxy war after proxy war in iraq and syria and elsewhere? the same mullahs are responsible for killing u.s. soldiers in iraq, holding other americans hostage? remember, obama told us, thisfo was good for the world? we warned you. this agreement was always a sham. no different than when neville chamberlain declared peace in his time and signed off on a deal trying to appease adolf hitler. no different than when bill clinton appeased kim jong un's father, kim jong il, in the agreement clinton promised this was a good deal for the american people.m it will halt north korea's nuclearr weapons program and ambition once and for all. in 2015, obama wanted you toto believe once again, if only we kissed the rings of despots and radicals and dictators, somehow, they will be nice to o us. faulty, failed logic. appeasement never works. president trump now faces a very

important decision, whether or not to hold iran accountable and pull the u.s. out of this deeply flawed agreement. here is how president trump reacted to this incredible, breaking development today. >> seven years, that deal i will have expired and iran is free to go ahead and create nuclear weapons. that's not acceptable. seven years is tomorrow. t that's not acceptable. it's a horrible agreement for the united states, including the fact, mr. president, that we gave iran gave iran $150 billion and 1.8 billion in cash. nigeria would like some of that. 1.8 billion in cash. $150 billion. you know what we got? we got nothing. we got nothing. that doesn't mean i would not negotiate a new agreement.ny we'll see what happens. but i think if anything, what is happening today and what has happened over the last little while and what we've learned has really shown that i've been 100% right.
10:07 pm
>> sean: there are moments in history you have to learn from and the devastating failures of appeasement, neville chamberlain, bill clinton, president obama in his way, it all has taught us, appeasement never works. peace through strength does work. this brings us to ourac next topic. president trump's historic diplomatic progress on the. korean peninsula. instead of trying to appease h kim jong un or bribe him with boatloads of cash, president trump took some very tough measures. in the early months of the administration, remember the president increased sanctionss of the north korean regime. he sent multiple carrier strike groups to the reason. he squeezed north korea's most important strategiceg partner, china, all the while calling kim jong un littlele rocket man and saying our button works. the media freaked out, proclaimed trump will lead us to a nuclear war.r. they said the same thing when reagan called the former soviet union an evil empire.
10:08 pm
we knew better and now the president's strategy has seen significant progress that is great for the world. for the first time ever, this is historic, look at this. kim jong un crossing into south korea for this historic positive meeting with south korean president moon. a meeting between president trump, president moon, and kim jong un is moving forward as planned. not done yet. certainly good progress. also breaking today, according to the south korean sources, the north korean dictator is willing to give up his nuclear weapons program completely as long as the united states agrees to officially end of the korean war and promise not to launch an attack.ot over the weekend during a rally in michigan, the crowd reacted, this is when the president was going to be at the white house correspondents dinner, and i proudly, 30 years in radio, 20 years in tv, have never been to a single one. i am proud of that. this is the crowd reacted to the developments on the peninsula. take a look. >> i remember, you know, it was

[laughs] i just want to get the job done. >> sean: "i just want to get the job done." everyone on the fake news media, their heads just exploded. the south korean president agrees, moon is now echoing these calls for president trump to in fact, yes, receive the nobel peace n prize. let's hope he can pull this off. these historic and rapidly evolving developments from the korean peninsula should give everyone around the world a sense of cautious optimism and some are even calling president trump a president.ional three words: peace through strength.
10:10 pm
we'll bring you more on this later in the show but first, the deep state is crumbling right before our eyes. nearly five years ago, then national intelligence director james clapper, remember, he blatantly perjured himself in front of congress? you may remember this moment.ju >> does the nsa collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of americans? >> no, sir. >> it does not? >> not wittingly. there are cases where they could inadvertently, perhaps collect, but not wittingly. >> sean: of course, a short time later, we learned the nsa was collecting data. clapper knew it and he lied. he was never charged like l general flynn with lying.cl this case, perjury. now clapper has been caught in yet another bold face lie. according to a report from the house intel committee, during a closed-door hearing, clapper flatly denied ever discussing that phony clinton bought and
10:11 pm
paid for steele russian dossier with a member of the media. he also repeated this claim in w march during an interview with don lemon at cnn. take a look. >> i didn't have any contact with media until after i left the government on the 20th of january. so i don't quite understand what i've read that somehow i leaked about the dossier. >> you didn't leak anything about the dossier to anybody? >> no. i mean, i talked about it after i left the government. but not during that period and certainly not between the sixthr of january and the tenth when the president-elect himself talked about it. >> sean: an incrediblean development. the intel committee's reportth found that clapper "admitted to the house permanent select committee on intelligence and private testimony that he briefed cnn's jake tapper in early january 2017." this was shortly before trump's inauguration. tapper along with two other journalists, so-called journalists from cnn, published

a report detailing how trump was briefed about the steele dossier. a short time later, james clapper, oh, he's hiredd y fake news cnn as an analyst. you connect the dots. president trump reacted onon twitter, writing... now if clapper does not face legal jeopardy over this blatant perjury to congress, it will be yet one more example of what i say is our two tiered system of justice. he'll go with the hillary clinton system of justice. let's turn to the mainstream media. if you thought they couldn't get any more anti-trump or downright vulgar, think again. they outdid themselves over the weekend. the white house correspondents association held their annual dinner. i am so proud i have never been, where they take some time to honor the media, pat themselves on the back, just like their hollywood buddies, for their courageous work of echoing each other. president trump, who did not attend, previewed the dinner at

his rally in michigan. he decided to stay with the people just like he did last year. good choice. >> by the way, by the way, by the way, is this better than that phony washington white house correspondentsth dinner? is this more fun? i could be up there tonight smiling like i love when they are hitting you, shot after shot, these people, they hate your guts, shot. and then i am supposed to --dash and you know, you got to smile. and if you don't smile, they will say, he was terrible, he couldn't take a hit, and if you do smile, they will say, what was he smiling about? there is no winning. >> sean: president trump'so description, all too accurate. this year's show featured so-called comedian, former

10:16 pm
some in the mainstream media, even they called out this so-called comedian. take a look. >> i think the comedian crossed a line. this went from poking fun to being mean-spirited. it was very uncomfortable. i think that sarah sanders handled herself very well. >> the dinner is supposed to be about journalism and not the red carpet, not the mean-spirited jokes that we saw last night, some of those i really thought were inappropriate. >> this dinner has had a lot of bad moments. thinking back, as i was watching this cringeworthy performance in some respects going after the appearance of sarah sanders, which i thought was inappropriate. >> i really thought the pain of the people on stage, when sarah huckabee sanders was being made fun of, everybody felt pain for her. she felt pain. it really bothered me. i know there's a big controversy about whether or not her appearance was being made fun of or not, come on. >> sean: fox news alert,

as the caravan came up. and you know, the mexican laws are very tough on immigration, extremely tough. and it started out with way over 1,000 people. i guess now it's down to a hundred.ue you got to have a wall. we need border security. and we will have border security. as you know, we are sending many, many national guardsmen down to the border. most of them are already there. that's having a big impact. but we need a change in the law. >> sean: where's the mexican government? they went all through mexico. by the way, they usually imprison people from central america, el salvador, nicaragua, or they just return them and deport them immediately. for decades, they'veve turned an all too obvious blind eye as millions of their citizens, as well as citizens from other countries, showed no respect to our laws, our sovereignty, ourca borders, our citizens. this is an issue of national

less miserable or us any less powerful. and dutiful to the jobs that we have on behalf of the country that we love. i actually think both events saturday night really helped president trump. first he got to go to michigan and tell -- he was in washington, michigan, touting the economic progress, the historic nature of what's going on in korea, and then the event here in washington, it helped him as well, because it fed right into all of the cynicism, the skepticism that a lot of americans have about the ismainstream media writ large. they have a -- let me say something. i spent tonight trying to find out how much michelle wolf was paid. nobody will give me a straight answer. m i called three people who were on the dais, who actually picked up the phone, and no one wouldwh give me an answer. they said, they had no idea. >> sean: i would like to know about the anchors and reporters financial holdings, too, considering everybody cares

about mine. >> hold on., the reason i say this, wehi are told this is a scholarship i dinner, and you should pay for your entertainment, but i feel y really badly for the students. the president, vice president met them at the white house, they took pictures with them the other day, i had occasion to see these scholarship winners, i feel sorry for them, because they were almost an afterthought that night. i don't want anybody to say this was about them, the first amendment. when the president of the white house correspondents association stood up and said, an attack on one journalist is an attack on all journalists, well, folks, think about this. is an attack on one woman or two women an attack on all women? >> sean: i'm glad i didn't interrupt you. that's a powerful line. north korea, history in the making. no one saw coming. iran's intelligence, president trump was right. the unprecedented alliance, israel, united states, thehe saudis, jordanians, egyptians, the emirates.

it's unbelievable what peace through strength can do. >> that's right. it's incredible, sean, and it is certainly owing to president trump's leadership and his vision. and also his patience. the relationships that he's been able to build with leaders across the world in the first 15 months of his administration, the first year and a half since he was elected, has led us to this moment and folks don't underestimate the power of north korea and south korea really coming together holding hands and saying that decades of war will -- could just be sweptd away, could end, also, north korea has agreed to stop doing its nuclear tests to allow inspectors in, which is key, to go back to the same time zone as south korea, a lot of progress there, and it's donald trump's leadership. many critics of this administration are giving him the credit for that. >> sean: kellyanne, these areha amazing times. are they ever going to give the
