summit on a productive track. trump has hinted pompeo in the course of this trip could secure the release of three korean american prisoners in north korea which would be seen as a strong goodwill gesture ahead of the summit which will focus on nuclear weapons. >> we will pursue this as the president pursues any negotiation and the if we can't reach a historic deal. the pres. said we want these people released. it should happen before the deal and we will see how this comes out. >> reporter: this visit was kept secret until trump let the cat out of the bag yesterday afternoon. he said date and venue had been set for the summit and will be announced shortly. >> we will see how it works out.

good morning. yesterday everybody was talking about we love the agreements, we hate the agreement but what happens in 90 days? >> there is a false equivalency, there is the deal or the war, a binary choice and i don't think that will happen. here is where it becomes an interesting moment in time with our allies. we have our allies on a different page. when the pres. made the decision yesterday saudi arabia and israel came out with supportive public statements and backs up what the pres. said about his decision to withdraw from the deal, bailey ballistic missiles, the whole list. on the other hand we have a problem with our european allies. they have over the past week 2 years and sanctions were released done a lot of business in iran. you say to these european companies under what the treasury department said yesterday you have to walk back that business.

rob: republicans love him but manchin could be a republican in any other state. does he have a chance of beating manchin? >> manchin is in west virginia but it is early. rob: i apologize. does he have a chance of winning the senate? >> he does. it has got to be a tossup because ohio is much like indiana, when you look at the turnout gaps republicans led in every statewide race in turn out. that a huge fan for democrats that they are in trouble. >> i was so eager to get to west virginia. seems like patrick morrissey just survived. of an dragontemplate, don blankenship had a lead but morrissey just survived this thing. >> i would dispute that because

i know patrick morrissey. he is an indefatigable campaigner. i never met someone who worked as hard. he came from behind. blankenship had to lead, he got in front, the pres. got involved, and his son tweeted out, let's get behind, jenkins, an interesting strategy with the democrats, they tried to beat jenkins, they were successful in driving jenkins's numbers down but he is the one candidate who can beat manchin who is in real trouble. his opponent in the democratic primary 14-1, got a little more than 65% of the vote. a huge harbinger that he has real challenges not only with as you mentioned earlier could be a republican, that doesn't get his base excited and republicans go past morrissey and in ohio, up a little from where it was in 2014 in the last midterm. republicans are energized in west virginia.
