millions of document turned over. and no one has been charged with a crime of treason or espionage. a year and a half later no evidence has surfaced connecting mr. actual's advisors to the hacking or linking mr. trump himself to the russian government. government. the obama administration opens up an investigation into the trump campaign without any criminal evidence. the obama administration used secret subpoenas to obtain phone record from the trump campaign and used an unverified dossier of russian smears. the bottom line remains.

team obama spied on the trump campaign using wiretaps and moles with no legal justification. now the people who were used to gather the information from stonewalling the american people. >> we have yet to see any credible evidence or intelligence that led to the opening of this investigation. jesse: sara carter joins me now to break this down. devin nunes didn't clearly say it, but he made the premise there is evidence this may have bean set-up from the jump. do you believe that? >> i do believe that. based on the evidence we have now compared to a year ago.

they went after chairman nunes. they went after me open my breaking stories, saying this is implausible, this is a joke, this isn't true. now going into the second year and all of the evidence that has come out of this, what we discovered is a counter-intelligence investigation. that's very important. it allowed them, which is the doj and fbi as well as other intelligence agencies to basically weaponize the tools in our i.t. community, our intel community against the campaign. jesse: imagine if the bush administration used a counter-intelligence operation against the obama campaign. over nothing. because right now there has been no criminal evidence to show there was any wrongdoing to

justify the wiretapping and the secret subpoenas and even the opening up of the investigation. you have the "new york times" report cop out this week, crossfire hurricane was the code name they used in this counter-intelligence investigation. there was a meeting papadopoulos had with someone in great britain. it turns out papadopoulos who was 28 at the time and carter page. they are invited to great britain to go to conferences and they get fed full of rumors and they pass it along over drinks to an ambassador. so the fbi sends peter strzok over to london and they cook up the investigation based on gossip. >> it appears they were being lured and given information for the purpose of passing that

information on from ambassador downer from australia. he turned around and reports it back over to u.s. intelligence because they are close allies of us. then an investigation ensues. this was right after they pretty much exown rated hillary clinton in a criminal investigation. >> and it's after they got their hands on the dossier hillary clinton paid for. the daily caller has a piece that seems to be asking questions hot spy was on the trump campaign. >> when you are dealing with an informant -- this is how they classify them. this came from leaks from the doj, from the fbi or from people within that closed circle in england. this is where the "new york times" and "the washington post" and others have gotten their information. based on that information that

they themselves leaked. based on this information we know there was an informant. these types of informants don't just work on one case. they must be working on numerous cases for the cia and the fbi. they usually go by a code name. that code name is what the doj other fbi would ever see. they would not see the name jet. jesse: we are not outing this person as the spy. to put it in perspective, the obama administration wiretapped and had informants inside the political opponent's campaign, donald trump's campaign. soak that in, everybody. i want everybody to soak that in. sarah, got to go, thank you very

on. jesse: i agree if the russians are trying to cause trouble in the election, that's fine, let's investigate it. why are you investigating american citizens? >> it appears some of those afissions were meeting with the russians including carter page and the people at the trump tower meeting. jesse: who did carter page meet with? >> he was meeting with russian agents, that's what they believed when they asked for the fisa warrant, and they went before a judge to get those. we all now about the trump tower meeting where there were russian agents there as well. jesse: you don't know the names of the russians carter page was meeting with, and it's not a crime to meet with anybody from russia.

>> a judge gave the warrant. jesse: a judge gave the warrant because he was given a dossier that made a lot of wild, salacious allegations. you are not allowed to provide unsubstantiated allegations to the judge. >> the judge was told the truth. there is no evidence the judge was lied to. this is why the president wants to watch fox news all day. this is not the truth. jesse: you don't know the truth because you haven't been following it as closely as we have here on fox news. let's go to the trump tower meeting. >> there was a russian agent there. the lawyer had connections with the kremlin. and you have the top two people from the trump two people in the

campaign, the president's son and son-in-law. jesse: did the russians deliver dirt at that meeting? >> i don't know what was said at that meeting. jesse: they just released 2,000 pages of transcripts. they under viewed a dozen people about the meeting. everybody at the meeting was interviewed by those investigators and those transcripts were released. from dirt was moved from russia to the trump tower team. zero. >> that's not true. jes. jesse: were you there? >> the dirt clearly came out in december 016. it -- december of 2016. it was given to wikileaks. jesse: you don't know anything about that meeting.

>> neither do you. jesse: that's never even been said before. you are the first person to bring that up. hillary paid for russian dirt on trump and used it to get a wiretap. there was no payments made at trump tower and there was no different. >> as i said, this is a serious investigation. the president's former campaign manager has been indicted for multiple counts of money laundering. the former national security advisor pled guilty to the crime of lying. this is the former national security advisor. jesse: the people who investigated him told comey they didn't believe he was lying. >> he pled guilty. he pled guilty to lying.

partially uphold most of of the travel ban? >> and i believe the full decision will come out in the next few weeks. it's a temporary ruling we have already gotten after some of the crazy decisions we have gotten, at least up to 5 justices to vote for. any lawyer would be crazy to predict what the supreme court is going to do. but i can't believe the supreme court is not going to uphold the travel ban. it's many the president's constitutional statutory authority. trump is going to be impeached for something the constitution says is his authority. jesse: impeaching the president, swiegd ms-13 -- siding with ms-13, is that what they are running on? >> i hope so.

because right now the republicans don't have much to run on. they need pedal to the metal and get going on the immigration bill. jesse: who is going to pay for the wall? >> mexico. though we don't care. just build the wall. jesse: a stinging report from mother russia.

all these world leaders want that moment of glory with the photo-op with the most of powerful man in the world. i think he'll go to singapore on the 12th and will want to be seen with the president. but whether it lead to the denuclearization of north korea. it's a dictatorship. they lie. that's what they do. whether it's khrushchev or hitler. dictatorships lie. jesse: they do. it's so funny to hear the democrats applauding little rocketman for owning president trump and punking him into this meeting. when it comes to hamas or ms-13 or a dictator, always siding against the american president. don't slap anybody this weekend.

were in cahoots with them. >> because they worked with him. they weaponized the fbi and doj to attack the duly elected president of the united states. jesse: what does this say about the entire investigation? is it rot to the core? >> it always has been. it's so ridiculous, let it go now. the real problem that i have had with it other than millions in legal fees and lots of time wasted and being smeared in the media. at least they uncovered this. what if they wouldn't have. there is a little bit of sweet revenge for me and possibly the family. if they wouldn't have done this, this stuff would be going on at the highest levels of government. they would be continuing to do it to my father.

imagine how effective he could be given the year he has had without this cloud over his head. i want them to come to a conclusion. you have been look for two years. you have come up with nothing other than their own nefarious actions conclusion. and they have come up with nothing. at some point you have got to come to something. if they try to drag it out for a year. the democrats have their talking points. you see the democratic senators, this is mccarthyism. you have a guy screaming russia, russia, russia. the irony is ridiculous at this point. jesse: one of the people giving you a hard time is schiff. what would you like to say to adam schiff? >> i think he has some soul searching to do. he's been out there, 99% of

intelligent people believe he's the one leaking this. when i did my test moan why it's behind closed doors and starting at 12:00 in my twitter feed i'm reading about what's going on in the room. think about this. this is the house intelligence committee. i can see the response he had. he's scared. because he had the media in their back pockets. these guys are working together with the radical left and they are getting whatever they want done. the problem is, they used to have some credibility, so people believed that, so they were able to sell that narrative. that's why you can see them ramping up saying this isn't a big deal. jesse: you have had two competing narratives. on the one side, donald trump is a cleared and on strucker of justice and he was in cahoots

with the russians. the presidency you have had a lot of people reporting and it turns out to be true now that the department of justice and the fbi under president obama rigged the investigation for hillary and turned the screws to trump. now it looks like in a corrupt and illegal way. and the facts are out now. the facts belong on this side. >> 100%. this has been a much more recent narrative than the other. they have been looking at the other one for over two years. i took a 2. >> -minute -- i took a 20-minute meeting. but they needed it to be true because they staked their entire credibility. their whole narrative is now we can keep going. jesse: what does this do to the media's credibility which wasn't
